Mark R. Wieber (a.k.a. Gunner) Cliff Notes Version 11

Version 11 celebrates the 6 month anniversary of the end of The Great
Cull of 2012, and includes additional examples of physical and sexual
prowess, truth telling and degree claims, and dunce history-student
hilarity.

Below is a collection of links and quotes describing infamous Usenet
troll and death warrant issuer Mark. R. Wieber, a.ka. Gunner or Gunner
Asch.

Wieber has been posting to Usenet since the mid '90s, usually
thousands of times per month. (links to some of his profiles)
http://groups.google.com/groups/profile?enc_user=Orot9hQAAAAVu-i7YM79BqNIPO5iBPiLOPANdqfI6prRsqjc7uCt1A
http://groups.google.com/groups/profile?enc_user=HEaJkBsAAACOrbBANBWNT1XP03_YC9KEwXc63ut3wf6Db8UaObu0tw
http://groups.google.com/groups/profile?enc_user=zKA9NRwAAACtf0cmv8A-iJM5H6Z2Yz6ZIYyGNsfsHA_6Fw_LxpaeDA
His habit is to write tall tales to top anyone he's debating. If his
opponent dares dispute any of the delusions then Wieber follows up
with ever more elaboration and exaggeration. He frequently promises to
put his critics on "the list" so that they will be "hung from lamp
posts" during "the great cull" which is perennially just over the
horizon.

"In less than 3 yrs..the People will kill most/all Leftwingers in an
event known as the Great Cull." (2009)
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.fan.states.iowa/msg/1d494df85841943b

"Because when your death arrives in about 2 yrs..maybe less..the
moments of sheer terror you will experience will be absolutely
marvelous to behold. I hope someone sends me a video tape of your
ending as you are butchered." (2010)
http://groups.google.com/group/talk.politics.guns/msg/feb78d14a2bebf9c

<When will the shooting begin?>
"Late summer" (2012)
http://groups.google.com/group/sac.politics/msg/91995d9e14235ffb

"The Great Cull will do just that after all the gun grabbers and
mentally ill Leftwingers are killed and bulldozed into mass graves in
the very very near future." (2013)
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.crafts.metalworking/msg/468306d38b83c0e9

This tactic is usually accompanied by multiple
detailed descriptions of gory deaths.

"When the People drag you out and hang you from a bit of barbed wire
after kicking you off a lawn chair..Ill be very happy. In fact..I hope
the doers send me a video clip of your ending. Knowing you were
disposed of, along with the many thousands of your bretheren..and
knowing that you will be gone into a mass grave somewhere along with
the rest of the trash who have tried so hard to ruin America..will
allow me to believe that America will indeed survive."
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.agnosticism/msg/d175b9b64781e599
-----------------------------------

Wieber likes to fantasize about killing. This example includes a very
lengthy description of impalement.
http://groups.google.com/group/sac.politics/msg/3e720bd5775a70b8
(sample snippets) "So there you are...10 or so feet up in the
air..with a sharp stake up your ass and as time goes by...it pushes
deeper and deeper into your body cavity..any organs that arent pushed
aside..are punctured as you slowly..very slowly slide down the stake"
"Think of the stink that 20,000 writhing, twisting, squirming, wailing
and screaming Leftwingers would make. Glorious! Absolutely
Glorious!"
-------------------------------

Spiritual Wieber

"Im Rensai Buddhist. We are the Buddhists that get to kill bad
people."
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.religion.christian/msg/e43f888c326ac288
------------------------------------------

Killer Buddhist Wieber's idea of who is "bad."

"wacking leftists is a patriotic duty."
http://groups.google.com/group/soc.men/msg/c5eeb6c57ae2434f

"So we simply kill them all and periodically weed out those who show a
preference for mental illness and Socialism."
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.fan.rush-limbaugh/msg/ae4dcca05cd31580

"Kill the leftists. Its the only way."
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.machines.cnc/msg/1ce71d4938ea0bdd

"Ive not gutted anyone in a number of years, and Id love to see if I
can still make a man scream as I cut out his guts"
http://groups.google.com/group/misc.survivalism/msg/890c10adbedb9f8a
----------------------------------------

Wieber buries disagreeable visitors with his invisible backhoe!

"I have some of the prettiest places to take people and move them into
their new digs. And a backhoe to do it properly."
http://groups.google.com/group/sac.politics/msg/5e2893d4f968287d

"So when can I expect to need to fire up the backhoe? You have my
address, so bring it on. Now...do you want a northern exposure or a
southern one?"
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.rush-limbaugh/msg/02f213f515dbdd75

"my backhoe is fueled!"
http://groups.google.com/group/talk.politics.misc/msg/8ec5e138b751217a

Photos of Wieber

He occasionally posts photos of himself in his clown costumes.
https://picasaweb.google.com/104042282269066802602/Gunner#5230962305767101506
Presumably he imagines it will scare readers into believing he might
shoot them from miles away.

The reality is that he's a Usenet Walter Mitty whose main talent is
slowly culling himself by way of copious infusions of nicotine and
Mountain Dew. He'd have died years ago if not for multiple rescues by
the social welfare system he despises.

Taxpayers have to save Wieber from the inevitable result of his
lifestyle of heavy smoking, soda and junk food . But he can still do
one handed pullups!

---------------------------------

Wieber likes to pretend that he lives on ranch acreage, prepared to
survive the apocalypses he constantly warns everyone to fear.

The build-up!!!

"3/4 of an acre"

The Reality

One small .16 acre city lot with a shabby mobile home and tons of
clutter.

payments, resulting in many thousands of unpaid taxes and late fees.

------------------------------------------

Wieber's treasures overflow onto neighbor's lot that Wieber previously
claimed to own.

"So this morning..she shows up with 2 deputies and advises me that I
have until 2pm Wed afternoon (24 hrs) to clean the lot off else Id be
cited for "illegally dumping" and the county would clean off the lot."

Wieber claims to be very skilled at many trades. He also insists he's
a hard worker despite the obvious contradiction with all the posting.

"Ive got hummm...3-4 Associates Degrees"
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.machines.cnc/msg/a526902ea3daeacc

"I repair machinery in machine shops for $75hr, $25hr travel time
(portal to portal) and $0.50 a mile out and back. And Im one of the
cheap guys. And I weld too."
http://groups.google.com/group/sci.engr.joining.welding/msg/fbdfddb82b3ef209

"I made $4k in the last two weeks. Net I own my own company"
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.politics.usa.republican/msg/5cf76ac919a364a3

And yet there are a few <ahem> minor contradictions.

"My medical bills? What medical bills? I filed Bankruptcy a couple
months ago. Phoof! All gone!"
http://groups.google.com/group/misc.transport.trucking/msg/f58b373e0c864533

"Ive already talked to the IRS about the issue, as well as the
California Franchise Tax Board. They reviewed the data..and gave me a
thumbs up. Since my total assests are less than $60k..home included
...they have Zip interest in taking me to court.
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.machines.cnc/msg/66f4f601ee528ae6

The evidence is 30 years of liens and judgments.
http://tinyurl.com/d7hkkp http://tinyurl.com/l68gh3
-------------------------------

Wieber pretends to be a P.E.

"Son....its called California Advertising. Half the companies out
here dont have a degree. Just someone who owns it good enough to pass
the tests."
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.machines.cnc/msg/65ee02118cd78d85
-------------------------------------

Sexual Prowess

"While I once got paid to do a porn..it was over 30 yrs ago..and I
kept my socks on."
http://groups.google.com/group/misc.survivalism/msg/20b709a701b572d9

One of Wieber's many descriptions of sexual conquest and expertise,
this time dating a black Victoria's Secret model.
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.machines.cnc/msg/76b0aba944fe26da

"I was banging my babysitter when I was 11"
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.crafts.metalworking/msg/d26fc90c007efee2

His charming description of one of his secret techniques, wherein he
names his victim.
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.crafts.metalworking/msg/92cccf38b22d36fb

"My ol lady likes to get fucked in the ass now and then, and my
girlfriend can suck a dick like a vacuum cleaner"
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!original/rec.crafts.metalworking/G0GgSLMxfak/efoWSco6pb8J

Listen up ladies: if you find teeth a turn-off then Wieber's your man.
http://groups.google.com/group/misc.survivalism/msg/488c6a00c55ffdcf

"The day after I got home from the bypass..I nailed the old lady for 2
hours, going easy of course..still had 174 staples in me. After they
pulled the staples..I nailed one of the lady friends for at least a
couple hours. A good time was had by all."
http://groups.google.com/group/misc.survivalism/msg/272a1377e9d6f006
---------------------------------

Wieber's chronicle of the years 1976-2000. Unrequited love, wife and
kid from hell, trash and bills "sneaking" up for years, etc. In his
own words "disgusting."

Wieber's detailed description of his Friends List, a personal army of
"computer wienies," ready to track down his online enemies so that his
other friends can execute the offenders, yada yada.
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.crafts.metalworking/msg/51ccf1d67151a862

One of the above mentioned friends, and Wieber's most loyal sycophant
and defender for many years, the fearsome Tom Gardner. (the walrus
shaped one)

One version of his story of serving in Vietnam despite the fact that
he was too young to have served.
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.military/msg/503604f47159259d

Some of his explanations for not producing his service
documentation.

"Id have to drive back to my Dads place in Michigan, and dig an old
footlocker out of my piles of stuff to get the dd-214. Its not like I
have a lot of use for it."
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.machines.cnc/msg/a41c6783dbf70507

"Ayup. Id certainly need to get one. Gonna be in another
name..but..shrug...doable.
Assuming I wanted to open that can of worms again.
So Ill just hang in there and let the Democrats pay my bills.
Works for me!"

----------------------------------------

Name an occupation and Wieber will claim to have substantial
experience. The trouble is that after so many hundreds of thousands of
posts he can't possibly keep track of who he's one-upped, including
himself.

http://groups.google.com/group/rec.crafts.metalworking/msg/50864f4b5ffce244

------------------------------------------------

Wieber's life is better than yours.

the president of a Fortune 500 Company? Last year for me.

Wieber NEVER stops working (lying).

"In the past 40 yrs..I think Ive been unemployed for a total of
hummm...6 days."
http://groups.google.com/group/misc.survivalism/msg/d9eb24039fa0acfd

"Ive only been unemployed for about 3 months"
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.politics.bush/msg/5289d0323c4125cf

All that working, paychecks not so much.

"So I went dumpster diving. And I sat in a house with no gas or
electricity and ate my dumpster food, and shared it with my dogs and
cats. We all were happy to have food. For two weeks."
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.crafts.metalworking/msg/a2ddd7a2af9e6173
----------------------------------------

Do not cross Wieber, he has an army of lawyers ready to issue a
"summins."

"Im sure your provider is going to be real happy to get a phone call

targets/assailents, armed with a variety of weapons, over the years.
Ive been shot, stabbed, bayoneted, blown up, bucked off, run over,
thiumped on, clubbed, smashed bashed and generally been abused...but
while Im not as fast as I used to be...I can still punch a .45 round
into multiple targets while keeping at least 2 pieces of brass in the
air at the same time I shot in a combat match Sept 7th of this
year..they put me in with the active military and active police
shooters and I took 1st place. Got yet another dust collector to try
to find a place for. 5 falling plates at 15 yrds in 2.01 seconds.
Slow as molasses for a hot shooter..slow as hell for me in my
prime...but still faster than 99.999 people on the street And that
was not having competed in several years, cold off the street, with my
daily gun and old ammo grabbed out of the junk self. I ran the course
again with a .41 Magnum, full house loads..and my best time was 2.51
seconds. Shrug...one doesnt think..one simply does..muscle memory
does the rest. After shooting at least 1 million rounds out of
handguns alone over the past 30 yrs...."

dangerous game."

"how about wild boar with a bowie knife? Been there, done that."
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.crafts.metalworking/msg/ebb54d1b4f0bedfd

Talking Hard Work
Words and Music by Woody Guthrie

While we're on the subject of hard work
I just wanted to say that I always was a man to work.

I was born working and I worked my way up by hard work.
I ain't never go nowhere yet but I got there by hard work:
Work of the hardest kind.
I been down and I been out
And I've been busted, disgusted and couldn't be trusted.
I worked my way up and I worked my way down.

I've been drunk and I've been sober. I've had hard times and I got
hijacked
And been robbed for cash and robbed for credit.
Worked my way into jail and outta jail
And I woke up alotta mornings and I didn't even know where I was at.

But the hardest work I ever done is when I was trying to get myself
a worried woman to ease my worried mind.
Now I'm gonna tell you just about how much hard work I had to do to
get this here
women that I'm a-tellin you about.

I shook hands with 97 of her kinfolks and her blood relatives and I
done the same with 86 people that was just her friends and her
neighbors.
Kissed 73 babies and put dry pants on 34 of em' as well as others
And done the same thing several times - as well as a lot of other
things
just about like this.

I held 125 head of wild horses, put saddles and bridles on more that
that,
harnessed some of the craziest, wildest teams in the whole country.
I rode 14 loco broncos to a dead standstill and let 42 hound dogs lick
me all over.
Seven times I was bit by hungry dogs and I was chewed all to pieces by
water moccasins and rattlesnakes on two separate river bottoms.
I chopped and I carried 314 armloads of stove wood, 100 buckets of
coal,
and I carried a gallon of kerosene 18 miles over the mountains, got
lost,
lost a pair of shoes in a mud hole.
And I chopped and I weeded 48 rows of short cotton, 13 acres of bad
corn
and cut sticker weeds out of 11 back yards.
All on accounta' cause I wanted to show her that I was a man a I liked
to work.

I cleaned out 9 barnloads and cranked 31 automobiles, all makes and
models.
Pulled 3 cars out of mud holes and 4 out of snowdrifts.
I dug 5 cisterns of water for some of her friends and neighbors
and run all kinds of errands.

I played the fiddle for 9 churches meetings and I joined 11 separate
denominations.
I signed up and joined up for 7 of the best trade unions I could find
And paid my dues about 6 weeks ahead of time.

Waded 40 miles of swamps, 60 big rivers,
Walked across 2 mountain ranges and crossed three deserts.
I got the fever and I got sunstroke and I got malaria and I got the
flu
and I got moonstruck and skeeter bit, the poison ivy and the 7 year
itch
and the blind staggers.

I was given up for lost and dead about 2 dozen times.
Struck by lightning, struck by Congress, struck by friends and
kinfolks
as well as by three cars on the highways and a lotta times in peoples
hen-houses.
I been hit and run down and run over and walked on and knocked around
And I'm just settin' here now trying to study up what else I can do to
show
that woman that I still ain't afraid of hard work.

Actually its good to know Ive got fans!

And a pretty good listing of my accomplishments and my foibles.

Though I do see one thing in there that I was wrong about. The 10
million miles thingy. After pondering it..Im going to have to change
that to 4 million miles, if the math does come out to 900 something
per day for 30 yrs. I dont drive that much anymore..so Im gladly
retracting the 10 million miles down to 4 million.

Shrug. I never said I was perfect. Shrug again

Oh..one should note that my fan wasnt able to refute anything in his
rather good listing. Just attempt to make fun out of it. <VBG>

Which is simply par for the course from him. He is mentally ill..so
nothing else could be expected.

Shrug yet again.

Only when the shoe fits. You're responding to a post that's almost
entirely Gunner's own words, which he pretends are his
"accomplishments," and says he likes seeing reposted! Since you're the
only one who's concerned, why don't you dispute some of it and help
the poor guy out? arf arf You should apologize to any newbs who
might get the wrong impression about the Great Gunner from his own
words. And you should apologize to Gunner on behalf of anyone who
doesn't take kindly to being told that Gunner's having them killed.
What a bastard I am for giving him a taste of own medicine, eh?

>The testimony to your success: Simpleton Plimpleton is yer only fanboi.

LOL Can't believe you went there. You actually WORK to get the
idiotic rhetorical support of Gunner and Bonkers!

>You have not come up with one correct or creative idea yet

OK, here's my correct and creative idea in the same vein as yours. A
house that weighs 2000 pounds and costs $20k and does 99% of what a
$300k house can do. It's so easy to build that Gunner could do it,
therefore the construction industry is anally penetrating regular home
buyers. Yeah, that's the ticket.

>, but you waste zero time lambasting the ideas of others.

Huh? Sounds like you need a nap.

>Why?
>Because (insert GMs dick in Kidding's mouth here), GM et al didn't think of
>it, therefore it cain't be true.

Suggestion for you: email Ed and ask him to honestly tell you how much
your numbers have convinced him how terrible it was of me to buy a
slightly higher than average price car. Prediction: you are not going
to like his answer.

Hey, did you notice that Gunner is reading the Cliff Notes updates?
Hilarious. And he says that "if" 10 million miles in 30 years really
is over 900 miles per day, then he was "mistaken" to have pulled that
number out of his ass. Now he says it was ONLY 365 miles per day!
Weird that a mensa/not mensa member can't use a calculator, and like
you, believes that readers are too stupid to figure it out. The new
number has the same value and stink as the old, same as his IQ claims,
and also the same as your 2000, 20k, 50k, 75, 99, and 2 billion
numbers. You two really should get together. I can imagine the deep
conversation:

"Do you know where whoyakidding is?"
"No, I was hoping you knew."
"Let's make killing noises and talk about all the ways we want to
dismember him."
"Oh yeah baby, need to get some ROI from the cost of my bus ticket."

Great move, 365 miles per day for 30 years should cure the
believability issue. It's fortunate that your 165 IQ gives you the
ability to deal with these numbers, and to understand readers'
perceptions so well.

365 miles a day at an unrealistic average speed of 70 mph is over five
hours a day spent driving a vehicle, every day for 30 years. If you
worked six days a week every week for 30 years and drove 4,000,000
miles, that would be 513 miles a day, which at an unrealistic average
speed of 70 mph would be 7.3 hours driving every day.

You didn't do that and also do whatever shitty low-skill "work" you
claim to do. Your numbers are bullshit, as they always are.

Your "numbers" have all been demonstrated to be impossible.

As for your non-numerical claims, such as having served in combat in
Vietnam or been a mercenary in Zimbabwe, you are the one who is obliged
by standard rules of evidence to support your claims. Because you have
a well-deserved reputation as an extravagant liar, no one believes you.

Even the revised numbers are bullshit. No one believes you spent 5.2
hours per day driving every day for 30 years (7 days a week) or 7.3
hours (6 days a week.)

You have been admonished in the past: if you're going to lie - and
clearly you enjoy lying - at least make your lies plausible.

Ive never had a car accident in 30 yrs/10 million miles of driving

http://groups.google.com/group/rec.crafts.metalworking/msg/ce00195d4af80a15

You're 59 years old. You have not been driving for "nearly 50 years."
Even if you are claiming to have been driving underage and without a

Of course they are semi-accurate quotes. The problem with you 2

you can do so.

So when are you going to prove that they are phoney stories? I/We
have been waiting years for that proof to show up. And still nothing.

Why is that? Is it because you are somehow unable to prove that they
are lies? Well whodathunkit? (to quote EA). Perhaps then they are
not lies? From my point of view..it looks greatly like a circle jerk
of two swishes in tutus dancing around a big fucking granite rock
with a lable on one side saying "100% pure Granite" and both of you
two fags trying to claim its lime jello and is mismarked.

That really appears to be the work of a couple of mental cases trying
to jolly each other in some sort of mating ritual before you two go
and bugger each other in the ass, then switching positions suck the
shit off each others respective dicks in harmony.

Thats rather gross and sick actually. No wonder normal people have you
two kill filed. No wonder you are both on the List.

Dats OK, you apparently are not alone.
But only one of Gummer's legion of fans sees fit -- nay, compelled -- to
then not only make a witchhunt out of what is essentially innocuous banter,
but to make it his life's work.
A pathetic life's work from, well, a pathetic bitchy boys-in-the-band
sociopath. And *himself* a proven liar, in virtually every one of his
paraphrasings of Moi -- just so he can appear to win.

As much as you disapprove of gummer, Kidding's antics are, in many senses,
worse.
You get all bent out of shape over gummer's culling..... PLease, dat stuff
should go in one ear and out the other.
Never mind that a cull is necessary.... LOL

The Q is: How to execute it.... heh, no pun intended.
We each no doubt would have our own fav strategies and starting points.
LOL
Kidding -- and his status quo cocksucking ilk -- would be a good start
tho....

But no matter, no biggie, we will never have the luxury of choosing our
culling.... Dat will be a Bilderberg decision.....
And if the Bilderbergs have anything to do with it -- and they will --
Gummer will be culled waaaay before Kidding and his ilk.
Altho culling the Gummers will be noisier, cuz, well, the Gummers have more
guns than the Kidding's.

No one has to "prove" that he doesn't believe gummer, or that he finds
every extravagant claim gummer makes to be implausible bullshit.

gummer doesn't seem to understand that the burden of proof is on him to
prove his claims, not on anyone to disprove them.

I believe gummer never rode a motorcycle at 264 mph. If he wishes to
prove that he did, he is free to offer some supporting evidence. I
believe that *no one* believes he rode a motorcycle that fast. When I
say "*no one*", that includes all those assholes who agree with gummer
on matters of right-wing proto-fascist ideology.

I do not believe gummer did any of the wildly boastful things he claims
to have done. I further believe that no one else believes he did any of
them, either.

Exactly. Some of them are "phoney" [sic] because they're impossible.
Others are "phoney" [sic] because 1) they're extremely improbable for
anyone; 2) they're even *more* improbable for gummer; and 3) gummer has
offered no evidence to support them.

When gummer tells one of these extravagant bullshit stories, the default
presumption is that they're bullshit.

bullshit.

As I've said before, he's not the first Walter Mitty I've ever run
into, and, short of claiming to fell entire forests with a single blow
of his ax, and having a giant ox named Babe, his bizarre stories don't
bother me in themselves. I just shake my head and move on.

But you've just seen an example of where he goes with it, and why it
pisses me off: He's weaving those claims into his gutter-trash
homoerotic insults, and calling anyone who catches him in his bullshit
stories "mentally ill."

That's pretty obnoxious, and I don't take kindly to having those
trashy slurs thrown at me. I don't have to respond in kind. All it
takes is a little exposure of what he's doing, and Gunner reverts to
the trash talk and gutter habits.

That's not just neurotic braggadocio. That's a verbal assault. I won't
let him get away with that.

>But only one of Gummer's legion of fans sees fit -- nay, compelled -- to
>then not only make a witchhunt out of what is essentially innocuous banter,
>but to make it his life's work.

Well, FWIW, here's my take on that. Kidding isn't the first to
document Gunner's bullshit stories and contradictions. I've done it
myself. But I've only done that one item at a time. It appears to me
that Kidding is a very organized guy, and what he's done is to take
those individual absurdities and collect them into a single volume, an
anthology of Gunner bullshit, and it makes for some funny reading. <g>

You may remember that someone on another NG had done a similar thing
with Banquer, although not nearly as well-done, and we got a few
chuckles out of it. Gunner's stuff is enough to make you roll in the
aisles.

I ignore so much of what goes on between you two that I don't even

with your original disagreement -- whatever that might have been.

Gunner is hardly the first self-aggrandizing fabulist blowhard and faux
tough guy poseur on the infobahn. That sort is a dime a dozen, as we
all know, and they don't bother me. I generally find them amusingly
pathetic, and they make good sport when I'm in the mood to puncture
their inflated egos.

The only thing that really crosses the line for me is Gunner's
disgusting and phony "Stolen Valor" pose, pretending to be a wounded and
decorated combat vet. That's incredibly offensive and completely
unacceptable to me. My brother served in Vietnam, and my father and
uncle served in WWII. I have a friend and fellow firefighter who was a
special forces medic and he was killed in Afghanistan. He was buried
with the medals Gunner falsely claimed to have received pinned to his chest.

Last time was in 1981. Had this little bitty Mexican guy in a bar

stabbed me in the back. Had to have the CHP come in as backup before
taking both of them into custody. That was one bad assed little

Or if worst comes to ultimate worst..I shoot/stab/cut/club etc etc the

Uh, Hobie 16, in which "Kern County Sheriffs Deputy Bart Collins

Gunner's excuses for failing to produce his dd214, and not accepting

tale. All those alleged feats, yet it's too difficult to call his

Einstein's IQ is a quite on the low end, given the mega-magnitude of what he
accomplished, and that it took the likes of David Hilbert to co-solve
Einstein's last "mathematical dilemma" in general relativity.

In armchair scientific quarterbacking circles (sumpn Kidding would be
awfully good at, given his stratospheric CJQ -- circle jerking quotient ),
the likes of Fermat ("the solution was too long to write in the margin" for
the famed FLT ), and a cupla others were given estimates of over 200...
210, iirc, for Fermat.
I'm sure google has oodles of these type of lists.

If you peg a "functional IQ" to the achievement itself, then Einstein,
Newton, bunches of others are 200+.
If you use RohrCrap tests, then any functioning asshole can score high, or
be allowed to vote.

Here's the guy who "solved" the FLT.

A more readable overview of the problem:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fermat%27s_Last_Theorem Very inneresting read

For those gagging with bated bref, Fermat "guessed" right: there is no
solution a, b, c, to a^n + b^n = c^n, for n > 2.
For n = 2, it is, of course, the pythagorean theorem.

No mortal can understand Wile's elliptic/modularity shit, and the Q remains:
Did Fermat actually solve it, using "classical" number theory?
Gauss said no way.... but dats only cuz Gauss couldn't solve it. lol

So Andrew Wile no doubt has a mega-IQ as well, altho it is hard for anyone
to compare the "accomplishment" of general relativity to Wile's proof of FLT

We no doubt could have nipped all this scientific/mathematical drama in the
bud, by simply putting Gummer on the case.....

See? Settled!!!

Gummer may very well have a very high IQ -- certainly higher than Kidding's,

Actually, there is no way to measure an IQ over about 185. The
statistics, and the number of people in the world, don't allow the
required mathematics.

Not that there aren't a few people with IQs over 185. It's just that
you can't measure them.

No worry for Gunner, though. <g> When people atart bragging about
their IQ, the only thing certain is that they're full of crap.

The chance that Gunner's IQ is over 130 - 135 is about equal to the
chance that he did 264 mph on a Kawasaki Ninja.

That's the Vestas Sailrocket, you flaming asshole. Your claim is for a
Hobie 16. Jesus, Gunner, have you completely lost it?

There's the 25.9 mph that Hobie claims for the record. Any Hobie 16
that hits 20 mph is near the limit.

No, that's 25.9 mph, as your link says. That's equal to 22.5 knots.

Sure. Like the multi-megabuck, custom-built Vestas Sailrocket, which
is 40 FEET LONG! And it doesn't have conventional "sails." It has a
wing made of polyester film over a carbon-fiber spar. It's probably
worth several times the value of your house.
Yeah, a 20-foot Olympic Tornado with 180 sq. ft. of sail. Not a Hobie
16 with 118.

So you have links to 130-foot trimarans, C-Cats, and hydrofoils.

What happened to Hobie Cat 16s? You can't drive them as fast as you
claim. They won't go much over 20 mph without pitchpoling. The
occassions where they've recorded speeds in the 20s are pretty rare.

You dont think that Im going to be going around killing off Leftwing

This one might be a fun project....

Anyone know of any designs that work on semi rough surfaces like "high

I live in the Central Valley..and I have many hundreds of square miles

Anyone have any ideas/links? It would have to be able to smash

Sure! Your favorite hobby -- putting people on the "cull" list, and
then telling them how much you're going to enjoy watching them die.

Listen, asshole, you've dug yourself a hole deep enough to bury a
horse, and now you're pretending you're stupid. I don't doubt that
some of that is true, but, as usual, you aren't fooling anyone.

Now go de-rust some of your machines, or melt some lead, or do

Mebbe gummer took the IQ test in appalachia?? Or alabama??

Well, at least gummer idn't confusing his a cycle speed with his IQ...

But, Ed, a 130 IQ is STILL two std dev. from the nation's IQ mean....

I took an online "IQ test" just this afternoon; it consisted of 20 questions
and to my dismay, I learned that MY IQ falls in at around 70, which
apparently is well below the average...

--however, upon reviewing the test answers, I found that I had gotten every
single one of them correct..(yes, I'll admit that I wasn't quite sure about
a couple, but hey, I nailed 'em all nonetheless)..

Oh well, I guess I must be EXCEPTIONALLY stupid; for the life of me I still
cannot comprehend how in the hell it could be that obviously, in order to
get even an average score, a person must answer at least one, (if not
several) of the answers incorrectly..

You don't "assess accomplishments" to measure IQ. It's a limited
measurement that's based upon relative scores in any of several
standardized tests. If you don't have enough people at the extreme
ends, you don't have the necessary statistical data to make a
measurement. On the high end, that happens somewhere around 185.

The "extrapolations" are all theoretical. IQ is not. It's a concrete
measurement based upon statistical results.

What *meaning* it has is the arguable point. There are arguments about
many aspects of it, as most people know. That's what keeps the PhD.s
who study intelligence up at night.

>At least Gummer's stuff is entertaining.

I don't know what Kidding's "tales" are. All I've read recently are
his discussions about electric vehicles, where he has a POV that
contrasts rather sharply with yours. <g>
No. FWIW, I've always been pretty good at guessing IQs. There's a good
correlation between those scores and a person's patterns of thought,
expressed in speaking or writing, and high IQs correspond to an
ability to weigh many facts at one time, high degrees of organization,
and the ability to organize many elements into a coherent narrative.
There also is the matter of insight, which is much harder to judge
from one's speaking and writing. That's the kind of thing you're
talking about with the math and physics problems.

I'm not talking about grammar or evidence of training as a speaker or
writer. The point is, high intelligence evidences itself, even among
semi-literate speakers and writers, in the way the content of their
communication is organized.

It's far from perfect but after speaking with someone or reading their
thoughts for a while, I often can make a close stab at their IQ -- in
those cases where they know it and will tell you honestly.

>which would put him in the near-1%-ile, which is not shabby at all.

Don't misunderstand. I think that Gunner is a pretty smart
underachiever. I have him pinned at around 130 (SD 16, as with the
Stanford-Binet test). Plumper thinks it's a bit lower, and I suspect
that Plumper is pretty good at nailing IQs, too. There are reasons to
pin it lower -- you never know for sure when he's being truthful, and
his intentional lies seem to be based on trying to get some illogic
embedded in the "debate." But his IQ is well above average.

But that's about it. There are too many gaps in his logic for it to be
higher, even allowing for his deceitful "debating" style and his
frequent attempts at silly distraction. I just threw in an extra 5
points to avoid arguments about it. d8-)

I used to think that, too, until I started spending lots of time among
Mensans and realized how many very intelligent people were not raised in
environments that supported and encouraged their development.

130 IQ is just below the top 2% level, but IQ scores are usually given
as +/- 5 points.

It is very possible that Gunner's communication skills haven't changed
much since his stroke, but stroke survivors often suffer a decrease in
cognitive ability that is not subjectively apparent. This is a lot less
obvious to the survivor than memory loss, but associated with it.

Of course, no two strokes and no two stroke survivors are alike, every
loss is different.

Any survivor with online access should know about

It's a murder fantasy any way it's defined. gummer advocates for it,
and he doesn't have the guts to participate in it. If it ever were to
come to pass, it would be dirty and messy and difficult, and gummer
likes to portray himself as not shying away from that sort of task. The
fact that gummer goes to great lengths here to try to distance himself
from the actual carrying out of the task tells us all we need to know
about him.

And all about the <chortle> "cull," too.

It is, but this line of questioning didn't start as being a criticism.
In fact, what you said is that it's a murder fantasy, and gummer
attempted to demur: "Murder fantasies? Where were they?" Now, he's
implicitly acknowledging that they're murder fantasies, and he's
switched to asking what's wrong with them.

I think death-camp guard is as close as gummer could get to harming
another person. I think he's a craven coward, and would flee from
combat or a fight against anyone except a half-starved prisoner.

Get a grip on yourself. As loathsome as gummer's words are, it's still
nothing but comedy.

There is no "list."

This is why I've never accepted that Obama is "brilliant", but I'm much
more willing to accept that both Bill and Hillary Clinton are much more
intelligent than Obama. And it has nothing to do with liking the policy
prescriptions of either of the Clintons better than Obama's - I think
all of them are wrong on policy. But the Clintons both speak
extemporaneously extremely well, especially Bill, and show evidence of
very quick comprehension.

Mensa is nonsense. As noted, the criterion for acceptance is nothing
but a score test.

Yes. Few Ms take it very seriously, which makes it hard to find
candidates for the local Executive Committee. I volunteer to be Election
Chair, which protects me from being lobbied by the Nominating Committee.

The other member of the Election Committee is the Sofa, unless he
chooses to be the Ottoman.

Bill had executive experience, Barry only got to community organizer
before 7 of 9 put him in Congress.

Yup, but we take our nonsense seriously, thankyouverymuch, not to
mention out heavy duty whimsy.

It sounds like you didn't quite meet that criterion for acceptance. Sour
grapes, eh?

The criterion for the Tall Club is that you be above a certain height.
Maybe they get tired of talking down to people, Mensans do.

Realism is too often mistaken for cynicism.

Bill Clinton having been governor of Arkansas isn't what makes him a
fast-on-his-feet thinker. Hillary was always fast on her feet, too,
including prior to being Secretary of State, which isn't much of an
"executive" position.

That's wrong. I meet it on both IQ test scores and GRE scores. I took
the GRE in 1977, and according to Mensa
(http://www.us.mensa.org/join/testscores/qualifyingscores/), a score of
1250 or above was required for GRE in that era. I obtained a 1400 - 690
quantitative, 710 verbal.

From Simpleton Plimpleton's own convoluted bullshit logic, there IS a
list -- The Q is, Will anything tangible result from sed list.
So Simpleton concludes that Gummer is too much of a coward to act on his
List, and then AGAIN concludes, ergo, there is no list.
Brilliant.

And dats the problem with self-professed and even genuinely hi-IQ'd but
character-disordered peeple:
They are so impressed with themselves, they haven't bothered to get
their li'l conceptual hands dirty, to grok dirty li'l realities, such as,
if indeed p --> q, it is not true that ~p --> ~q, but rather ~q -->
~p .

So they are able to manufacture bullshit opinions they way roaches lay eggs,
because they invent their own sillygisms -- and then defend them to their
illogical death.
OR, equivalently, bec they really can't think correctly for themselves, they
swing from the Big Dick of Authority. Never being able to determine any
veracity of said authority, of course. But swing they will.

I believe Kidding and Simpleton Plimpleton proly have 120-130 IQs.... You
pretty much have to be able to do well on those bullshit standardized tests,
to then ramble nonsensically -- but quasi-articulately -- on UseNet.
Which is why, between the two of them and their *thousands* of edicts and
declarations and other disguised opinion, they have been correct mebbe a
half-dozen times.
About as statistically useful as a monkey sitting at a typewriter.

QED -- that you can score well on these bullshit IQ tests, APPEAR
intelligent, but still be UTTERLY clueless.... and useless, and ultimately
with zero productive value.
If Kidding and Simpleton were on food stamps, they couldn't be any more
useless than they are now.

An AngstMaxim:
You don't have ANY rights to your effing opinions, asshole..... What
you DO have is an OBLIGATION to come to *correct conclusions*.
Which, in the case of the Kiddings/Plimpletons out there, is like asking a
one-legged man to win a marathon.

But..there are enough people out there who WILL be eliminating the

Shrug...I see you have a hard time understanding "observation" like

You think so? Wont having an extra tire mean it will flip easier?
There is some stability in a triangular base as opposed to a square
base, though perhaps weight might be of some assistance.
