Cascade Pale Ale, Cascade Premium and Boags Premium are all very good
indeed. They are all available outside Oz. Tooheys Old is rather
magnificent, too, but a little harder to find and Tooheys Red is grossly
underrated and hard to find as well.
Most of the rest is bats' piss. Crown Lager is love-in-a-canoe beer and
West End (South Australia) <insert "model" name here> or Swan (Western
Australia) <insert "model" name here> is just unforgivable.
Don't drink XXXX if you can help it, too. A Queensland beer, it's said
to be so named because the locals can't spell "shit".
The microbrewery stuff is, like similar beer from the 'States, anything
between ordinary and superb.

Not the point. If anyone really wants to engage in some jingoistic
nationalism (tautologous, for sure) then feel free to put _my_ country
down in _my_ general direction as I will provide an example to all of
you and simply _not_give_a_damn_. I was lucky to be born in Australia
