Gentle future reader of AADP. Perhaps, after some time has passed, some
may revisit this particular thread in google, and wonder as to it not seeming to
have a source. It would seem that only posts which contain 're:' are shown.
It is my purpose to explain exactly what and who that source was. For this
particular thread, I hope to provide what Herodotus provided in respect to the
Persian Wars of antiquity; which, without his efforts would have been lost for
all time. Let us begin ---
You see, gentle reader of the future, there once was a poster here, called
Desmond Coughlan, who often found it necessary to spray venomous
poison, in various forms, not exclusive to racism, onto this group. In doing
so he also hoped to hide the long-term recognition of that rather 'unhealthy'
flaw in his character. Thus he resorted to removal of any possibility of his
posts being long-term archived. So that after about a month, he could
simply deny having posted the poison in question.
FACT --
The originator of this thread was Desmond Coughlan, a point he is certain
to deny at some point in the future, and which I hope to insure is NEVER
forgotten. The post of his that originated this thread is the one I've
provided above. The link he provided in his post leads to only one
large uncaptioned, untitled gif of an unnamed Black American.
Now, imagine if you will, Time or Newsweek magazine, posting the face that
Mr. Coughlan provided on the cover of its issue, and labeling a diagonal
banner running across the top -- "The face of An 'Asshole' (sic)" I believe
no one would confuse that as anything other than a racist intent to that
particular weekly issue. Yet, this is what Mr. Coughlan did in this group.
The URL he posted contained NOTHING other than this picture. NOTHING.
Not one essential element of information -- except the man was Black.
Not even a single WORD. Simply a gif of a face of a Black man, that he
had titled 'the face of an Asshole.' Essentially what Mr. Coughlan's
'message' was to this group... was a 'racist warning' to "watch out for
'people' like this, America!! 'THESE' are YOUR 'assholes.'" We can
TRANSLATE Mr. Coughlan's unspoken 'message' into the following
warning (and presumably patronizing advice) he offers to us --
"Wake up, America... Take a look at who you should HATE! Take a look
at who you should FEAR! Take a look at who you should never TRUST! If
seeing this man on the street, and he asks you for directions... run as
fast as your legs can carry you... because he intends to do you harm.
Wake up, America... recognize who the 'real' enemy is to your nation.
The only one who would seek you out to rob, rape or kill you, using words
such as 'Gimmie da money, honkey mothafucka, oh ah toast yo ass !!' Wake
up, America... and direct your HATE where it should rightfully go... toward the
one I have called the *jigaboo* and laughed, with a 'ho ho ho,' when having
referred to him with that slur. The one that I have warned you about so often.
When will you learn, you dumb American? When will you learn who your TRUE
enemy is? Wake up, and look at 'The Face of An "American Black" Asshole'
because HE is that enemy... He is the one you must HATE."
Now, let no one doubt that at some point in the future Mr. Coughlan will deny authoring
the origination of this thread, and ultimately the picture will itself dissolve from
CNN coverage. And he will call anyone who points out that he was the originator
of such a thread - a racist - for having pointed out that he was the originator.
You see, in Mr. Coughlan's view one may make any racist remark one wishes.
But what is verboten is to CALL another a racist for having made such remarks.
Something on the order of his conclusion that racism is just too 'funny' (ho ho ho),
to actually take 'seriously.' Thus, by some illogical extension of fantasy, developed
by Mr. Coughlan, he asserts that demonstrating someone IS a racist, is actually
a form of racism by the one providing such a demonstration. But then, Mr.
Coughlan's well-honed logical skills also provided us with the clear winner that
'none of the hijackers knew they were on a suicide mission.' And -- it is
unnecessary to 'prove' the DP does not deter, since God had whispered it to
him in his ear.
Nonetheless... make no mistake about what we have seen here. It will NEVER
disappear. I am here to bear witness to what we have seen.

Christ PV. What is up with you? First because the photo was of a black
couple, that doen't mean there was any racist motive. If it did then the
same could be said if the people on the photo were white, yellow, brown,
green, purple with magenta stripes etc.
Second: you are not a racist. I am not a racist. Only Desi knows if he is a
racist. You don't Like racism, I don't like racism but you, Desi and myself
all live in countries where democracy and freedom of speech are legal. The
price is of course is that people may say things you do not like. Desi has
the ability to make you jump at his whim, you are his puppett. He needs only
create the slightest bigotted implication and you fall for it everytime hook
line and sinker. Learn to deal with it. So what if Desi is a racist? There
is nothing you and i can do about it.

For once, you are quite right. In view of desi's other faults, his being a
racist, doesn't amount to a hill of beans. Of course, I still believe it
should be noted that he is, from time to time. But in the 'big picture'
of desi's maniacial behavior here... 'being a racist' could almost be
called one of his more 'benign flaws.' Thank you for pointing that out.
