startling announcement that he will no longer respond to posts from desi
that contain only desi's one line GIMMICK # 8 -- 'Mindless drivel,' that has
become the hallmark of most of desi's posts.
The approval rating for PV's decision reflects an overwhelming majority of
99.2% of readership having responded. Almost as good as that of the
'election' of Saddam (but none of the voters had a gun held to their head
at the voting booth). Some of the typically enthusiastic responses were --
"As did that grandest of Empires, in those bleak hours of September 1939;
PV took the stand that most of us wish we had the backbone of character
to take."
"Not only has PV cut off the flow of secondary 'mindless drivel' from desi,
but that of even a third-level response of more of that 'mindless drivel'
should the secondary level be noticed."
"The strength of PV's nature in this group has never been more positively
demonstrated."
"Who says that retentionists do not have compassion? Today, one
of the great retentionists of AADP, showed compassion toward every reader
here, by helping to stem the flow of 'mindless drivel' from the pen of

represented by none other than desi himself. Who responded with --

To which PV will again demonstrate his resolve, by not responding to
only note that it is 'simply more of desi's mindless drivel.'
