"A 2005 visit to an Atlanta cardiologist by the name of Andrew Chung
put me on some serious reality

I wasnt just chubby or husky, I am what they often call morbidly
obese. He explained that morbid obesity simply means that if something
happened to me that could be attiributed to weight and I were to end
up in the not breathing state

ok some call it DEAD

that a doctor could simply dismiss it as natural causes related to
weight more or less.

Ive been told I was a chunky fella a couple times, maybe even fat...
but not quite that harshly. Definitely made me think about a few
things, as much as I dislike scare tactics when it comes to health.

Well in the midst of the shock treatment, he also had me come to a
heart wellness seminar that he does on some Saturdays in Mableton.

Nice little get together, he has folks from the community come in and
discuss Tai Chi, exercises, testimonials, all kinds of good stuff.

Then he shows the movie SUPERSIZE ME to set up the pitch for his 2PD
Omer approach that he has his patients use to lose weight.

In a nutshell, in his view, HOW MUCH you eat is more of the issue than
WHAT you eat and portion is more important than any fat content or
calories.

I agree with this. This is why I have always been more successful on
more liquid diets (cabbage soup, slimfast, herbalife (tho dangerous))
than anything else. I wasnt eating the portions I was before that..."

Andy Chung, an Obsessive Compulsive QUACK, has been around for
quite a few years now, and over time (the last 5 years or so) his
posts have degenerated from once being helpful and
knowledgeable to now being consumed with religion and what seems a
paranoid belief in his 2lb diet.
Very sad to a see a once clever man go down the gurgler like this,
but that is unfortunately the nature of his disease -
most likely schizophrenia

Actually, insanity is simply a condition of being disconnected from
reality falsely thinking fiction is truth thereby suffering from
delusions.

For example, your quoting Albert Einstein's fictional definition of
insanity multiple times and applying it as if it were true serves well
as evidence that you really are becoming insane.

Personally, that saying isn't strictly correct.
You can do something over and over and get different results each time.

Sorry I don't read links --well not when you use them as a substitute for

Sure, flipping a coin gives you 50% chance, but yet there are some odds

Yes, I realise there are statistical probabilities for a whole range of
things.
It all depends on the test you're running. In life there can be long cycles
and short cycles, and cycles within cycles.

The germ theory was made for political reaons rather than any real science.
Science has been doctored, not just in medicine but to support the oil
industry.

Omer = 3.3 liters.

Andrew Chung is a liar. This was not prescribed, it was not part of a diet.
It was not portion control. This was simple rationing with penalties if it
wasn't followed.

Andy misrepresents the Lord most High. He misrepresents The Most High God.

Andrew loves to lie about this.

Incorrect.

We have empirically determined that an omer of food that is ready to
eat (i.e. manna) is 32 ounces as evident by this physician's own life
( http://WDJW.net/HeartDoc ) of eating 32 oz of daily food since 1997
(13 years) along with many others who are doing the same.

Yes, amount control as Chris Malcolm is doing is much more
sophisticated and smarter:

Not for the discerning who are familiar with Proverbs 25:16 which
teaches us that eating the right amount of food is more important for
health and wellbeing than what we are eating.

Here again is that Spirit-guided thought about faux-christians like

You're beginning to piss me right off, blob. You obviously haven't read the
bit about the Rockefeller drug empire where he gave massive donations to
medical schools in exchange for a say in their curriculum. What you're
saying is right except for the fact that the system has been bought and

You have no idea what you're talking about - the system is rotten at the

They aren't looking for cures for anything, just ways to make more drugs for

You are not the measuring stick of the Bible, and you are not the final say
on the Bible. There is no empirical study needed for measurements. An inch
is an inch, a foot a foot unless it is stuck in your mouth.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omer_(unit)

Definition of Omer = 3.64 liters, got it yet?

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_ounces_are_in_one_liter
1 liter equals approximately 33.81402 US liquid ounces.

3.64 X 33.8 = 128.032 OZ

Simple math calculator, hit the buttons and go. No empirical study
necessary.

So Andy, how about you apologizing to everyone for 30 days in the hopes that
you can correct your wrongs over many years with so many people?

BTW, that is eight pounds buddy boy.

Incorrect. It is described in Scripture that an omer of manna was
sealed in a jar and placed in the Ark of the Covenant by Aaron for
future generations to learn about it. As we all know, the Ark of the
Covenant has been lost to us.

Thankfully, GOD has allowed us to empirically determine that an omer
of food that is ready to eat (i.e. manna) weighs 32 ounces as evident

by this physician's own life ( http://WDJW.net/HeartDoc ) of eating 32
oz of daily food since 1997 (13 years) along with many others who are
doing the same.

An omer of food is simply the right amount of food for all according
to what is written at Exodus 16:16.

Rations due the errors of the Jewish nation and the fact that they now had
to wander for 40 years through the desert. As I stated before and with
Scripture it was also to teach them dependency on Him and also His proof
that He will provide and take care of them as long as they fulfilled His
teachings.

You have a PhD and are that ignorant? Try reading the Word of God for once,
please!?

An omer is a unit of measurement. Got it? Are you really trying that hard to
steer people away from the Lord Most High with your own religious fraction?
It would seem so. You lay claim to the most bizarre things known to man, you
do not walk by faith, you do not study His WORD. Fact is that you are
totally ignorant in most things written in the Bible. You pull things out of
context, twist meanings and vainly broadcast that you were given specially
knowledge. Fool, know you not that the God of Abram, Issac and Jacob is NO
respecter of persons? He doesn't give out special secrets for us to benefit
from, whatever we learn is to be shared with the Church at large. Now in
your case you mainly follow the cult of the SDA, yet on occasion you like to
deny them even when they support your website.

The manna in the sealed jar was lost to all but God. It will more than
likely be found shortly.

"Us" as in you and your spiritual demons? I have provided you with more than
one link for reference sake and especially so that others can follow it and
see your naked folly. I eat 32 oz of food daily as well, but I also eat a
whole lot more that that. I can say that honestly and without deceit. You
cannot. Hopefully only a few get sucked in by your folly and error. I bet
that there is not one that lasted honestly for a year unless stuck in a
moorish prison.

> An omer of food is simply the right amount of food for all according

Oh really? Now you call an omer the "right AMOUNT of food"? You are not
calling it a unit of measurement?
When are you going to understand the correct amount translated to today's
terms? HUH?

Do you not know that the Mannah from Heaven was created by God Himself,
specially prepared for HIS people?
Where is your Holy food? Eh? Where is the perfect diet that sustaineth for
40 years being strong and in good health, looking healthy, feeling full not
emaciated looking and weak without stamina?

Such folly you propose, and you propose it all in total error under the
guise of following a God that you know not.
The NT warns against people like you and the SDA who try to maniulate the
spirituality of others via diet and other rituals.

If anyone wants to know the truth then ask the Almighty God Himself. Read
and study His Word both the Old and New Testaments. Do not get suckered into
rituals, chants, spiritual diets, religious concepts. Gods Word will explain
it all. If you lack wisdom and understanding when reading it, then ask the
Almighty via Jesus Christ His Son. He has promised it several times in the
Bible and will give it freely and upbraideth not for screwing it up before.

No doubt handy Andy will snip much of this post in his reply, if he replies.
To anyone reading this, follow the thread, in my previous posts I supplied
links and gave the translated measurements which handy Andy cut out. One
would think he would be grateful as he now could eat 32 oz per meal, but
noooooooo, he denied in one place that omer was a measurement then stated in
another that it is.

Yes indeed.

Chung does that when he implicitly concedes the debate, and post a

It's a narcissistic behaviour, and a clear sign of his mental sickness.

And what has that to do with omer, a unit of measurement?
The examples you gave although incorrect is very poor at best. Look at The
examples you gave with "G" in it. Linguistically speaking even if the letter
"G" was silent it would still be included with the printed word. Look at the
Latin languages for plenty of todays examples.

Using your logic one could put the letter "G" in front of every Word in the
OT. GNOAH, GISSAC, GABRAHAM, GISRAEL, GANDY GCHUNG, and so on. Gdo gyou
gwant gto gtry gthat gagain?

You have no proof of that.

2 Peter 1:20-21 (New American Standard Bible)

20 But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of
one's own interpretation

Can you read that Andy? God does not allow you to make something up. He
gives you no private or empirical interpretation. God is a God of truth, not
lies.

The Omer of Exodus 16:16 is a unit of measurement. Now an omer is the tenth
part of an ephah. Exodus 16:36 Got it? God stated that, do you dare differ?

ephah also epha n. An ancient Hebrew unit of dry measure, equal to a tenth
of a homer or about one bushel (35 liters)

So you see? 1/10th of a bushel = 3.5 liters, Have you the presence of mind
to clearly understand that?

Now lets convert a liter to ounces, ok? 3.5 liters times 33.8 oz equals
118.3 oz. Now lets put that into quarts, ok? 118.3 divided by 32 oz = 3.7
quarts.

Now anyone can see that you fraudulently base your diet plan on the Bible.

The closest you could come to truth would be to offer up 3.7 gallons a day
of Manna as a diet plan. With twice that on Friday since it was not to be
gathered on Saturday, nor baked or boiled on that day. We all now it is not
within your power nor intelligence to do that.

Now, you think that you are smarter than the Most High God? Dare you state
that God gave you empirical judgment contrary to His Word?

God holds the copyright on His Word, it may not be modified, nor its meaning
twisted to suit the purpose of one sniveling little man. I haven't a clue
about your 2 million approach but I suspect you are mimicking someone else's
diet plan on the Internet.

So now please "revisit' your falsely based diet plan and let it be known to
all that it is simply the figment of your imagination.

After you have acknowledged that the Word of God is true, that you are
wrong, then let us discuss your preying on weak women and your lusting after
the flesh. Every woman should be aware of your fantasies and sexual desires
outside of the Word of God.

Incorrect. What is described in Scripture is that an omer of manna was
sealed in a jar and placed in the Ark of the Covenant by Aaron for
future generations to possibly learn about it. As we all know, the Ark

"Yes, I would agree, and as I've posted in the past, I've discovered
by experiment that with my typical kind of diet, 2lbs is about the
threshold for me above which I gain weight and below which I lose it.

I'm sure, however, that you can recall a number of doctors
disagreeing with your diet on the grounds that a member of the public
couldn't be trusted not to eat 2lbs of ice cream and think they were
following your diet."

See, there's proof. Just because you have you Ph.D. doesn't mean you
can't succumb to the most ridiculous of arguments.

Then a diet of the right amount of pure sugar should be as healthy as
any other diet, and one's intake of vitamins and minerals must also be
totally irrelevant.

Incorrect. What is described in Scripture is that an omer of manna was
sealed in a jar and placed in the Ark of the Covenant by Aaron for
future generations to possibly learn about it. As we all know, the Ark
of the Covenant has since been lost to us.

Thankfully, GOD has allowed us to empirically determine that an omer

of food that is ready to eat (i.e. manna) weighs 32 ounces as evident
by this physician's own life ( http://WDJW.net/HeartDoc ) of eating 32
oz of daily food since 1997 (13 years to date) along with everyone
else who have been doing the same.

An omer of food is simply the right amount of food for every person
according to what is written at Exodus 16:16.

Why do you make such things up? Are you stating that the Bible errs in verse
36? Are you stating that there should be no mention of an "omer" in Exodus?
If so then your 32oz=1 omer is incorrect even in your terms.

Tell me Andy, when God commanded the Israelites to gather no more than an
omer per person in their family, and 2 omers on Friday and the punishment
that would follow for those that erred, then how would they know when enough
is enough, too little of too much. They would all be in huge trouble,
especially since you weren't there to advise them.

As mentioned before, Exodus was written well before Deuteronomy.

Any discerning believer knows that God does not contradict himself, not by
any means, whether through His spirit (who speaks not on his own) nor by
speaking directly to a person, nor via His Bible.

Why do you have such a problem answering posts? People see what you do even
more than what I do.

Man up if you can.

One has to wonder why so many theists cross-post their bullshitt into
a supposedly theism-free zone. A group set up by atheists to discuss
ouwn issues, of which there are plenty due to living in a
predominantly theist society.

No, liar. We don't start Chung's threads lat alone add alt.atheism to

Then a diet of the right amount of pure fat, or pure sugar should be as

healthy as any other diet, and one's intake of vitamins and minerals
must also be totally irrelevant.

Over 90% of the worlds top scientists today are openly non-theist and

that percentage is rising. Over 50% of all scientists today are openly
non-theist and that percentage is also rising.

Futhermore, the vast majority of serious studies of the relation between
intelligence and creativity on the one hand versus religiousity on the
other report a definitely negative correlation between them with the
dimmest being, in general, the most religious.

Those who are still trying to hawk theism are losing market share,
particularly among the more intelligent and creative.

We non-theists, by being merely skeptics and not raging dogmatists like
you, avoid any need for supporting proofs of our right to doubt whatever
does not have unequivocal proof of its own truth.

You theists, of whatever dubious flavor, by being raging dogmatists and
not mere skeptics like us, have a dire need for, but singular lack of,
unequivocal proofs of your dogmas.

Scientific theories all have the common property of saying that certain
events are impossible, and become falsified if such events are actually
observed to occur. It is the fact that such theories can be falsified if
they do not agree with reality which makes them both reliable (bad ones
get falsified) and valuable (good ones tell us a lot about how we can
control the future).

"Creator-did-it" theories lack both those virtues of scientific theories:
(1)"Creator-did-it" theories are not falsifiable when they are wrong.
(2)"Creator-did-it" theories do not help us control the future.

It is not so much our being non-theist as our being pro-science that
leads us to be anti-creationist. One of the things that creationists try
not to be aware of is that the vast majority of Christians, and members
of most other religions, are as pro-science as atheists.

Holding to an omer of food per day is the right amount control:

Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephah.

ephah also epha n.

32 oz is a measurement, just like omer. Manna was not whole grains. God
commanded that they eat no more than an omer of Manna a day, each person.
Child to grandparent.

God does not reccommend a diet for all peoples. Satan does tho.

Proverbs 25:16 (New American Standard Bible)

16Have you found honey? Eat only what you need,
That you not have it in excess and vomit it.

Do you see any measurement there? No one else does. It also does not mention
nor teach about "the right amount of food is more importan and well being
than what we are eating." This is another of your self-righteous addons, out
of context and misleading. one might as well say, don't just taste the
stuff, eat as much as you can until your needs are fulfilled. That might be
2 oz for a kid and 8 oz for an adult depending on the menu.

Peter, Chung transformed himself into a nasty compulsive nutcase years
ago. Welcome to Chungworld.

Welcome to the Wacky World of Andrew B Chung

In Chungworld you get to throw away a promising career after 88 days by
getting dismissed with cause from Emory. Then if you're feeling hard done
by you can post a private email on your website (the now infamous Dr.
Hildner email, repeated from the website into Usenet and so forever
archived by Google). The great thing is that in Chungworld you can
actually go around believing this email makes you look good.
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.atheism/msg/5a8f36628c734909
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.atheism/msg/fcc64b7a7b861413

But hey, the fun's just starting. If Science doesn't work for you, then
use Jesus and The Holy Spirit. With The Holy Spirit, everything you
assert will be RIGHT, and nobody will be able to convince you otherwise.
You can invent the 2 Pound Diet after an inspirational afternoon watching
TV, and later insist that it's called an "eating approach" after it's
pointed out that your diet is incredibly unsafe unless it's used in
conjunction with a balanced diet.

Whoops! The criticism of the 2PD Diet/Approach is mounting, especially
since you're spamming it several times a day across a bunch of newsgroups.
In a science group, someone asks where the peer reviewed of proof that the
2PD Diet is safe and works. Fortunately Jesus comes with a handbook for
just such occasions and you blithely claim that such a review sits on your
desk waiting for the appropriate moment of revelation (there must be a
fair amount of dust on it by now). To add credibility to your claim,
state that 625,550 people participated in the study. To add strength to
your argument omit the idea that these people who wandered the desert for
40 years didn't die of anything else either
(accidents,measles,snakebite,meteor strikes,etc).

Meanwhile Dr. Stephen Nagler is being a bit of a nuisance. Avoid
critising any supporters who phone Dr. Nagler and his family at their
home. Maintain support by expressing your appreciation to the likes of MU
and Rod. MU loves argument and harassment, don't be surprised if you find
multiple MU sockpuppets in the same thread each supporting the other.

Still finding 2 Pound Disbelievers? No problem, claim that God set the
example when He fed 2 Omer of manna to each person. All you need to do is
claim that the Omer (a biblical unit of volume) is exactly equal to 2
modern pounds. When people laugh at you and point out that you have
confused weight with volume (something which you would normally stop doing
in grade school), claim the unit has been redefined to you by the Holy
Ghost. At this point it's probably best to ignore your own repeated
statements about the consequences of blaspheming the Holy Ghost.
Assisduously ignore invitations to compare the weight of an omer of helium
with an omer of iron.

Ignore the fact that Jesus in all His teachings never mentioned the 2 Omer
eating amount. Ignore the fact that 2 pounds might be too much for a
premature infant and too little for an olympic athelete at the height of
his training. It's Chungworld and you get to set the rules!

In Chungworld you can strengthen your credibility by claiming
"discernment" while falling for Ron Wyatt's scam about the Red Sea
crossing. You've enhanced your Christian credentials massively by
throwing away all those years of scientific investigative discipline and
falling face first for a kookology even 'Answers in Genesis' won't touch.
If someone tries to point out that you've fallen for a scam, throw them
the strawman that their trying to discredit the actual biblical account.

In Chungworld you can accuse anyone of anything, for example of being
homosexual. All it needs is poorer quality evidence than that needed to
claim that Sly Stallone is actually a Vietnam Veteran called Rambo and
that therefore Sly is guilty of multiple murders. Back it up with "In the
Holy Spirit, I know..." and you can blast away Righter than Right.

In Chungworld you can perform remote diagnosis on people you've never met.
http://groups.google.com/group/sci.med.cardiology/msg/6d4abea877843280

In Chungworld unmoderated groups are fair game for repeated spamming. If
an ISP such as Bell South is uncouth enough to TOS you off their service,
claim their subsequent demise as an act of God. If a moderated group such
as Sermo TOSses you, then simply pray that their day will come.

Still got some spare time? why not dabble in a little exorcism via
usenet? You can practice on one of your own sockpuppets and then later
change your (barely functioning) mind and spend even more time denying
that you ever attempted exorcism in the first place!

Have a great time in Chungworld, spam your nonsense across multiple
newsgroups and giggle madly at the furore that results. Go nuts and try
whatever comes into your little noggin next...

You know better but hey, why get in the way of a good lie, eh?

Sawdust isn't food. You know better but hey, why get in the way of a
good lie, eh?

You have empty words, thoughts and phrases. Repetition does not enhance them
nor make them true.

You are running, running from Gods word since you have nothing to back up
your stuff other than shame, distortion and lies.

Again I snipped your meaningless cut n paste post, done repetitiously since
you are lacking in knowledge.

You have empty words, thoughts and phrases. Repetition does not enhance them
nor make them true.

You are running, running from Gods word since you have nothing to back up
your stuff other than shame, distortion and lies.

Obviously you lack a sword.

No.

Instead, this physician ( http://WDJW.net/HeartDoc ) enjoys eating
fresh-baked cookies that taste good with the condition that he is not
overeating.

Wouldn't be http://WDJW.net/WonderfullyHungry otherwise.

That which is fed the right amount thrives with less illness and
better health possibly living twice as long instead of dying from
anything including starvation.

Eating the right amount is the http://WDJW.net/2PDOMER Approach which
is clearly http://WDJW.net/NotDiet

Truth is simple :-)

Bottom line concerning you, Olrik:

http://groups.google.com/group/sci.med.cardiology/msg/be560056c6c1a223?

This physician ( http://WDJW.net/HeartDoc ) prays for you as outlined
per the amazing Facebook spectacle at http://WDJW.net/Salvation
earlier:

May GOD save your perishing soul by giving you, Olrik, a new heart and

a new spirit (Ezekiel 11:19-20 and 36:26) so that you would be born

again of water and Spirit (John 3:3 and 3:5), http://WDJW.net/Forgiven
by Him so that you would come to trust the truth, Who is Jesus:

Amen.

Be hungrier, which is truly healthier especially for diabetics and
other heart disease patients:

We do this by weighing our meals per the http://WDJW.net/2PDOMER
Approach to get our...

and then...

http://WDJW.net/Update

so that there will be...

Being hungry is truly wonderful as proven by four lines of evidence:

Mathematical:

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=31113247&l=9583a55b45&id=1467768946

Historical:

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=31113078&l=0071d60632&id=1467768946

Medical:

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=31107542&l=a51ee83a50&id=1467768946

Psychological:

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=31229810&l=0b3a2ad60b&id=1467768946

So that we really should http://WDJW.net/BeHungry and say we are
"wonderfully hungry" ( http://WDJW.net/WonderfullyHungry ) whenever we
are greeted:

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=31113612&l=cbe72c46ca&id=1467768946

There is pure joy in being used by GOD to convince others:

http://groups.google.com/group/sci.med.cardiology/msg/8824c8a5b7c7518c?

"A 2005 visit to an Atlanta cardiologist by the name of Andrew Chung
put me on some serious reality

I wasnt just chubby or husky, I am what they often call morbidly
obese. He explained that morbid obesity simply means that if something
happened to me that could be attiributed to weight and I were to end
up in the not breathing state

ok some call it DEAD

that a doctor could simply dismiss it as natural causes related to
weight more or less.

Ive been told I was a chunky fella a couple times, maybe even fat….but

not quite that harshly. Definitely made me think about a few things,
as much as I dislike scare tactics when it comes to health.
