Rewarded ads are not dismissible after 5 seconds leading to Play Store rejection

This same issue has been reported multiple times over the past month and is visible in production apps on Play Store.

Android has strict deadlines upcoming at end of September that requires app binary update and we are not able to update our app because of this issue. Please escalate this. This issue has been going on for over a month with other people reporting the same issue.

Yes, this issue is being worked on, but we can't share when the fix will be released unfortunately. Please stay tuned to our future release notes.

We also have the same issue in our production apps and test apps. Some of the rewarded ads don't even let you click on close after the timer is up. This is a pretty major issue as in some cases the OnUserEarnedReward Listener isn't being called too and some cases the user cannot back click out of the rewarded ad, so they have to force close the app. We're going to have to remove rewarded apps from our production apps until this is fixed.

We've had a similar report that it's impossible to close an interstitial ad - that was on Pixel 4, Android 12.1
