You have to admire trump. He's not just publicly complaining that he
didn't lose the election. But he's no hypocrite here. Even in private
he believes this and he's working to live up to his beliefs.

CNN played a tape of Michael Flynn, saying very close to: If he wanted
to he could take military capabilty in those states, impose martial law
and rerun the elections there. This is not unprecented, it's been done
5n times [50+].

If this happened, I suppose he's talking about after the Civil War.

And Sydney Powell is back, if she was ever gone. (Who said she didn't
represent trump?)

There was some big argument, so the idea of martial law has not been
adopted, afaik. I wonder who he thinks the martials would be. Flynn,
Giuliani, Sydney Powell, and Betsy de Voss carrying guns?

What you're referring to was a meeting Friday night at the WH, with Flynn and Powell
in attendance. Rudy called in. This is yet another flip by Trump. They got rid of Powell
two weeks ago, insisted she was never even part of Trump's legal team, which was a
lie. Supposedly it was because she was too crazy, full of wild conspiracy nonsense,
too much for even Trump and Rudy. But now she's back! Powell was arguing for a scorched
earth strategy, continuing the fight. Reports are that Trump wanted to appoint her a special
counsel to take up the fight, but the WH lawyers, Rudy, talked him out of it. I can't
imagine how that would not be a crime. A special counsel would be a govt position,
to do Trump's campaign work.

IDK what Flynn advocated at the meeting, but about two weeks ago, he surely did call
for Trump to declare martial law, have the military conduct a new election. Having
said that, being a convicted felon, this POS should never been allowed to set foot in
the WH. Yet the Trumpets consider Flynn a great American hero, innocent, etc.
An American patriot calls for martial law? An American president not only pardons
him, but invites him to the WH for advice on what to do now, knowing that he called
for martial law? Oh my, it's all so very despicable. And sad that the Trumpets
can't see this for what it is. Clearly even the most extreme things people have speculated
Trump might try to pull before he leaves are still possible.

The big thing we can hope for here is that the two Democrats win those Senate races in GA.
That's what's needed, because the Trumpets, the Republicans have clearly not learned
their lesson, have not given up on Trumpism. Instead they have gotten worse. Trump
has now made those elections a referendum on him. Imagine the Republicans winning
in GA. Trump will immediately be using that to claim it proves that his
election loss was fraud. But if GA, a red state, votes in those two Democrats, it will be
the final slap in the face for Trump, for Trumpism, for the Republicans and it will prove
that the people of Georgia fairly defeated Trump in November.

FWIW, the US is no longer following the Constitution and the Supreme court has been neutered so I suspect usenet law has been suspended as well.

The United States Supreme Court has been neutered?

You can't be an American. No American is that misguided. Our Supreme Court is
like nine little dictators, supported by Congress. They make law. They have
been making law for many decades, law Congress is afraid to enact. For example
Gamble v United States in which they (7-2) trashed our Constitution's Double
Jeopardy Clause without Congress even raising an eyebrow (because such
disempowering of ordinary people is exactly what Congress wants to do).

Problem is that a supermajority is required to remove a Supreme Court judge.
Therefore, on political issues they are immune to impeachment. On other
issues, Congress does nothing because they are doing Congress's will.
