Hello,

I decided to migrate to Cruiser "pro" for my next travels and some points aren't clear for me ;)

1 - For the moment I use Kurviger web to planify my travel. What is the futur of this web access ?

2 - Before, when I select an address directly inside your application on my Android smartphone, I was able to validated my itinary and now isn't possible when the distance is too far ?

3 - Do you think to create a forum with some tuto's for this application.

4 - I don't find "Bike" theme in my application  version 3.0.6

Sorry for my bad English and happy Christmass

Best regards

Jean-Claude

Hi Jean-Claude and Merry Christmas!

Kurviger app was based on Cruiser platform.

In Cruiser you will find the same (and more) features, except the Kurviger routing.

Cruiser can import (and export) offline your kurviger routes.

Cruiser has already advanced with:
- Built-in Download Manager for offline maps and routing
- Integrated Biker map theme (now all users can improve it)
- Offline points of interest (via download manager), etc.

More new features are coming, like a new better Route overview in navigation and more.

About your questions:

1. Kurviger continues to work as before.

2. I do not understand clearly what you mean, can you write again your question?

3. Do you mean an online tutorial?
Cruiser has many configuration options and I plan to organize them in a simpler way.

4. Biker theme is available via menu "Map | Map theme", after loading an offline map.

If you have any questions or suggestions for improvements, please report them to us.

Also you can write in the language you prefer!
(everyone can use Google / DeepL translate)

Merry Christmas  Emux

Perhaps a short video will be more clear for you.
At the begining of this video I  use Kurviger Pro and after Cruiser.
If I select a destination more 100 km I haven't an itinerary with Cruiser then it's possible with Kurviger.

I hope my explanation will be clear for you ;)

Thanks Jean-Claude, now the video can be viewed.

Which router and routing options have you selected in Cruiser "Settings | Routing"?

Each router works differently combined with the selected travel mode and other options.

Also you set the end waypoint from too small zoom without precision.
Can you first zoom more and set it on a road?

Ok it’s clear for me now.
My initial setup was OpenRouteService.
Now with BRouter it’s ok

Thank a lot for your explanation ✌️🍾🏍😉

With routing services that provide avoid options (like OpenRouteService),
be careful which travel mode and avoid options you activate,
because they can lead to a route that cannot be calculated with the selected options.

The solution is usually to turn off the avoid options and try again. :)

Also try to set the waypoints on road network, some routers are more sensitive.
