May dear neighbors, friends, and brethren have a blessedly wonderful
2008th year since the birth of our LORD Jesus Christ as the Son of
Man ...

Hunger is wonderful ! ! !

It's how we know what GOD desires, which is all that is good.

Yes, hunger is our knowledge of good versus evil that Adam and Eve
paid for with their and our immortal lives.

"Blessed are you who hunger NOW...

... for you will be satisfied." -- LORD Jesus Christ (Luke 6:21)

Amen.

Andrew,
Yeshua was born during Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles). That occurs in
the 7th month (Tishri) of God's year. (Ex.12:1-2). (10/14/2008)
It is an 8 day Feast of commanded rejoicing, so Yeshua was circumcised
on the last day of the Feast.

We are now counting the omer (50 days) until Shavuot which falls on
6/15/2008.
Shavuot is called pentecost in the christian church but they have
changed God's Holy calendar and do not celebrate it at the Appointed
Time that God has declared in His Holy Word.

It is a wonderful Feast where 2 loaves of wheat bread are waved. The
rabbinics think 2 is chosen to possibly represent the 2 stone tablets
for the giving of the Law from Mt. Sinai most probably occurred on
this feast day. Or it could refer to the 2 portions of manna that
were given on the day before the Sabbath. Or as I like to believe,
Jew and gentile, one in Yeshua the Messiah, God's children.

The LORD said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, "This month is to be for
you the first month, the first month of your year." (Exodus 12:1-2)

This verse indicates that GOD changes the calendar per HIS infinite
will.

HE remains the Author of all reality.

The Holy Spirit has been having me count the omer daily since 1997.
This is to be lifelong or until Jesus' return, which ever occurs
first.

GOD's will be done and not my will.

GOD remains sovereign.

It humbles us to be uncertain of historical points of time in the
past.

The only thing we can be certain of knowing is that GOD is kind, just,
and right.

It is possible that the 2 loaves of bread represent an omer if they
each weigh a pound.

No it does not. HaShem established the Calendar in the Torah. Up
until this point different professions counted the year as starting at
different times based on the type of crop they grew or the lifecycle
of their flocks or herds. In this passage HaShem synchronizes all
Israel.

There is no uncertainty. It was a specific day on the Hebrew
calendar. You can buy a Hebrew calendar from Amazon.com if your local
book store does not carry one.

The Torah symbolism is much more consistant with the Tanakh and with a

It remains my choice to receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit in
everything I say, do, and write:

contained in the Bible.

Andrew, I know that you are not a real cardiologist. So, I snipped
out the cardiology link. If you keep up the pretense, someone might
follow your fake medical advice and wind up suing you for practicing
medicine without a license.

As for "following the Holy Spirit:" if you are really following the
Holy Spirit, your actions would conform to the Commandments and the
rest of the Bible. Since the tranditional Jewish symbolism is more
consistant with the Bible, the Holy Spirit can only lead you to follow
the traditional Jewish symbolism. Any contrary spirit is NOT holy.

>HE unifies while the spirit of error (self) is divisive and scatters.

And you claim that a spirit is leading you to be divided from what the
Bible says.

By the way: Yshu`a did not come to unify (yet); He came to bring the
truth and the truth has caused division.
