This thread reminds me of the following Bible verse:

"As the ark of the LORD was entering the City of David, Michal
daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David
leaping and dancing before the LORD, she despised him in her
heart." (2 Samuel 6:16)

Yes, Michal thought King David was acting crazy.

Instead, King David simply loved the LORD with all his heart, soul,
mind, and strength :-)

Truth is simple :-)

Andrew Chung:

Is a frequent and proven liar (evidence archived forever on Google)

Has lost numerous NNTP accounts with supernews and others, has had many
Google accounts nuked, and his vanity domain heartmdphd.com is now
banned from setting up accounts. He is instead using multiple Google
sock accounts and email addresses in the format lo...@thetruth.com (#
being a number)

Is unemployed after being sacked with cause from his one and only job
after just over 80 days

Fled the state of Florida, and now claims to practice in Georgia despite
having no admission priveliges in the State's hospitals

Runs a phony foundation with a total declared income of circa $200, the
ownership and contact details of which are obfuscated on its website

Makes failed prophecies concerning earthquakes with areas and dates,
which don't happen (remember the bible quotes about false prophets)

Performed a public attempt at 'exorcising' a Malaysian sock on usenet,
then denied doing it. He has recently reversed position again and admits
to practicing exorcism by usenet, proving himself a liar in the process.

Promotes a dangerous diet, with a million dollar guarantee that he
demands thirty dollars to access details of. This despite being
unemployed. His soliciting and spamming for donations looks to be
similar to the Nigerian Advance Fee Fraud, where victims pay money
upfront in the hope of coming into riches but find they have merely
bought into a lie. Part of his advice is to pour nail polish remover onto
food.

Declares he has a cardiology practice despite posting night and day from
the same IP address (his home presumably) or a coffee shop internet cafe

Makes further false prophecies that we should now be all dying in a bird
flu pandemic. When these fail to happen, he does them all over again and
changes the dates. Nuclear war is another Chung spciality, which
naturally doesn't happen when he says it is going to.

Worships evil hatemonger Fred Phelps and will not denounce the acts of
Westboro's congregation. He even accuses someone with the name Phelps of
being Fred's son and refuses to accept he is completely wrong.

Uses the same patter as Pat Robertson, indicating his religious activity
is confined to watching cable TV. No evidence Chung has ever attended a
church.

Has a tendency to cyberstalk, particularly women. His wife fled some
time ago to another state, an act which Chung tries to pass off as "being
on vacation".

Frequently passes himself off as being qualified in areas such as
endocrinology, despite making incredibly fundamental blunders in his
'advice'. It is no wonder the Florida heart facility terminated him, and
has publicly denounced his version of events. Again archived on Google.

Don't forget the fake fast, where he didn't lose any weight, as well as
the infamous 666 stamping fiasco. His latest vile trick is spamming the
blogs of dying cancer patients and then crowing triumphantly when they
pass away.

May dear neighbors, friends, and brethren have a blessedly wonderful

Hunger is wonderful ! ! !

It's how we know the answer to the question "What does Jesus want?"
(WDJW):

Yes, hunger is our knowledge of good versus evil that Adam and Eve
paid for with their and our immortal lives:

Hunger is the physical "hearts burning within us" feeling that unlocks
the 4 mysteries of the "Road to Emmaus" adventure described in Luke
24:

Moreover, being hungrier is the key to being Jesus' disciples:

Being physically hungrier is how we will physically recognize Jesus

Actually, you should read the entire story before you try to tell us
what it's about. It starts early in 1 Samuel, and has many incidents
before the one you cherry-picked. Saul affianced his daughter to
David, the normal way to solidify political alliances. David was
reluctant, but it happened. However, Saul later had a falling out
with David and married Michal off to another man. Subsequently, David
refused to make an alliance to another leader unless Michal was
brought back to him. She despised David because instead of grieving
for her he was singing and dancing in the streets.

You should finish reading the entire story before trying to argue
about it ...

"When David returned home to bless his household, Michal daughter of
Saul came out to meet him and said, 'How the king of Israel has
distinguished himself today, disrobing in the sight of the slave girls
of his servants as any vulgar fellow would!'

David said to Michal, 'It was before the LORD, Who chose me rather
than your father or anyone from his house when He appointed me ruler
over the LORD's people Israel—I will celebrate before the LORD. I will
become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my
own eyes. But by these slave girls you spoke of, I will be held in
honor.'

And Michal daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her
death." (2 Samuel 6:20-23)

Amen.

Michal thought King David was acting crazy.

Behold in wonder and amazement as The Mableton Monkey confirms once

Reel in astonishment as he abuses SMC by treating it as his personal blog.

Giggle in amusement as the fixated Chungbot attempts to differentiate his

Laugh out loud as El-Chungo continues to bring attention to his 2PD diet

Yawn in boredom as yet again Chugn uses yet another sock to bombard

There is only one way that ANYONE can "fathom Christianity:"

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of
the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he
know them, because they are SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED.

Whether he's Chinese or Timbuktuian, or worse yet, American or British
or alt.christnet. . .ian, has absolutely nothing to do with it.

AND

Romans 8:9 Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none
of his.

And "No man can come unto Me except the Father, Who hath sent me, draw
him."

So then, what chance does anyone have, on his own? A big theolgical
controversy. The "Calvin / Arminius controversy" The Lord Jesus
said, "with men, this is IMPOSSIBLE!. But with GOD, all things are
possible"

I suggest John 20:30-31, for starters:

******
And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his
disciples, which are not written in this book:

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the
Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life
through his name.
******

What you have here, I am convinced, is a PROMISE FROM GOD, all the
controversy above notwithstanding, that if you will ONLY desire to
learn the Truth (I find that Chinese appear to be particularly endowed
with this trait), no matter who you are or where you're from, and obey
God enough to seek for the Truth here in the Gospel of John, the Book
God designed for that very purpose as He says above, YOU ARE GOING TO
BELIEVE; YOU ARE GOING TO FATHOM; YOU ARE GOING TO BE SAVED; AND YOU
ARE GOING TO HAVE ETERNAL LIFE FOREVER.

Find a Believer to help you with it; he is indwelt with the very
Spirit of Christ, by Whom that discernment must come.

Incorrect. What this shows is a wife that no longer has love in her
heart for her husband. This started with her thinking with her brain
that King David is crazy (i.e. a fool) for his loving the LORD with
all his heart, soul, mind, and strength.

"...she despised him in her heart." (2 Samuel 6:16)

How did this happen?

Interesting! NO love at all? Wouldn't that make her capable of
actually murdering him? I'm not denying that possibility --- just
interested.

Meaning long before the dancing incident? But the Scripture says "and
she despised him in her heart,' AIR, implying that her attitude
occurred at that point. Elsewhere, the Scriptures teach that both the
wise, and the fool, are an abomination, one to the other. And David
seems to show his abomination toward her, in the sequel, at least as
much as hers toward him.

But later, I have always been painfully agitated at what David did to
her AND her new husband (after what appears to have been his divorce
of her), Penuel. He robbed Penuel of his very life and love (very
comparable to what he had done to his friend, Uriah), and consigned
Michal essentially to life in solitary imprisonment --- and for what
reason??? Maybe the real reason was for political purposes, maybe
connected with his acceptance by the adherents of the house of Saul. I
have lots of problems about David and his apparent lack of morality!
Not meaning any problems like those of Unbelief, just problems
understanding what appear to be many examples of his wickedness, to
me. And other actions, such as his execution of Joab at the end of his
life, etc. Sure, Joab did his share of baddies, but generally he
seemed to be David's most loyal friend, and clearly more godly than
David on some occasions. I KNOW these problems are problems with my
own understanding, rather than with David, and are therefore very
interesting to me.

>
>How did this happen?
>
>GOD has the master key to our hearts, including Michal's and changed

Another fascinating thought! And the old controversy about God's
hardening of Pharoah's heart immediately comes to mind.

And His statement that God looks on the heart, rather than the
actions, as man looks, connected with His statement in the Psalms to
the effect, "I the Lord, create the heart."

So far, I have resigned myself to the full understanding that, "as
high as the Heavens are above the earth, so are My thoughts above your
thoughts" saith the Lord.

But He still invites us, and calls us to seek more understanding,
"Come, let us reason together, saith the Lord . . ." which most of the
"contributors" in these sewers refuse to even begin to do.

*********************

BTW, yes; I can say "Jesus is the Lord," as any observation of my
posts surely must reveal. But there is something else I also say,
repeatedly (Please see my post on "Incarnation"), which you are
leaving out in your challenge. The somewhat "strange" statement of
Scripture ---

1Jo 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that
confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jo 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is
come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of
antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now
already is it in the world.

2Jo 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess
not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an
antichrist.

The statement that "Jesus Christ is come in the flesh!"

Of course, every human ever born of a woman has "come in the flesh!"

So this passage is obviously saying something much deeper --- and
something much more important! It sheds light on the challenge "Jesus
is Lord"

The ability to sin arises from our deceitful hearts (Jeremiah 17:9)

It was not until King David's **public** demonstration of his
passionate love for the LORD that this really registered on Michal's
brain because she witnessed others share the same sentiment that King
David was acting crazy in his love for GOD.

They are unable to reason together with the LORD without the counsel
of the Holy Spirit.

If they had the counsel of the Holy Spirit, they would be able to
publicly say "Jesus is LORD" as can all true Christians:

The question was not a challenge but simply a query that allows me to

Myths are simple - born of a simple mind

Picture that verse from Samuel above and then apply it in the year 2009 ! Do
we see such impossible things today ? No of course not. Were they lies ? Of
course they were, written down no earlier than the year 1100 claiming
happenings a thousand years earlier, safe in the knowledge that no one would be
able to challenge them.

Sadly there are still people a thousand years later who are mentally incapable
of seeing through the con.

Richard Dawkins . . . . .

The Bible is a chaotically cobbled together anthology of disjointed documents,
composed, revised, translated, distorted and 'improved' by hundreds of
anonymous authors, editors and copyists, unknown to us and mostly unknown to
each other, spanning nine centuries. This may explain some of the sheer
strangeness of the Bible. Unfortunately it is the same weird volume that
religious zealots hold up as the inerrant source of our morals and rules for
living.

People do not 'fathom' their particular faiths.
In 98% of cases they were inculcated into them by their parents

In other cases influenced by friends who were already inculcated.

That is true, according to 1 Cor. 2:14. But that verse points to 2
more things than only their Spiritual invalidism --- "receiveth not"
{meaning choice} for they are foolishness unto them . . .

Usenet is about the only place I can say anything any more, since I
don't seem to be welcome in most "churches" in my area any more; and I
regard it as a field God has given me in my old age to speak.

It is clear enough to me that what I say there is what I say when I
continually refer to the Lord Jesus as the Incarnate God, come "in the
flesh."

The angels were forbidden to root out the tares, before the time, just
as Paul tells us not to decide, before the time, since the angels, God
says, do not have the ability to distinguish between the wheat and the
tares. If they don't have; I'm not sure that we can have, either
regardless of how a particular verse we may easily misinterpret is
taken. Romans 10:10 says, "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus
as Lord AND BELIEVE in thine heart . . ." Why the 2nd clause, if the
first covers it all?

I certainly don't have: here's a guy named Terry Cross, whom I had
placed among the top ten on my list --- and now I just read of him
rejecting the entire OT and 48% of the NT. Couldn't believe my eyes
--- read it over at least 5 times.

Whereas the Lord Jesus told us that His Sheep HEAR His voice --- exit
another one, I'm afraid.

God told Elijah that He had reserved 7000 who had not bowed the knee
to Baal --- but I doubt that there are more than x here.

Everyone! Who testifies that Moses and the Prophets are the Truth
(Luke 16:31), that Christ died for our sins, exactly as the Scriptures
say, and rose again on the third day, exactly as the Scriptures say (1
Cor. 15:2-4)?

That is the Gospel "by which ye are saved"

Adam was led into transgression by his deceitful heart going after
Eve.

Eve was led into transgression by the deception of satan.

Through an exegesis of 2 Samuel 3:6-18...

During the war between the house of Saul and the house of David, Abner
had been strengthening his own position in the house of Saul. Now Saul
had a concubine named Rizpah daughter of Aiah. And Ish-Bosheth said to
Abner, "Why did you sleep with my father's concubine?"

Abner was very angry because of what Ish-Bosheth said and he answered,
"Am I a dog's head—on Judah's side? This very day I am loyal to the
house of your father Saul and to his family and friends. I haven't
handed you over to David. Yet now you accuse me of an offense
involving this woman! May God deal with Abner, be it ever so severely,
if I do not do for David what the LORD promised him on oath and
transfer the kingdom from the house of Saul and establish David's
throne over Israel and Judah from Dan to Beersheba." Ish-Bosheth did
not dare to say another word to Abner, because he was afraid of him.

Then Abner sent messengers on his behalf to say to David, "Whose land
is it? Make an agreement with me, and I will help you bring all Israel
over to you."

"Good," said David. "I will make an agreement with you. But I demand
one thing of you: Do not come into my presence unless you bring Michal
daughter of Saul when you come to see me." Then David sent messengers
to Ish-Bosheth son of Saul, demanding, "Give me my wife Michal, whom I
betrothed to myself for the price of a hundred Philistine foreskins."

So Ish-Bosheth gave orders and had her taken away from her husband
Paltiel son of Laish. Her husband, however, went with her, weeping
behind her all the way to Bahurim. Then Abner said to him, "Go back
home!" So he went back.

Abner conferred with the elders of Israel and said, "For some time you
have wanted to make David your king. Now do it! For the LORD promised
David, 'By My servant David I will rescue My people Israel from the
hand of the Philistines and from the hand of all their enemies.' "

Amen.

David demanding his wife Michal, whom he betrothed "for the price of a
hundred Philistine foreskins" served to remind Abner of the LORD's
words "By My servant David I will rescue My people Israel from the
hand of the Philistines and from the hand of all their enemies" in
fulfillment of GOD's prophecy.

Such acts of righteousness is what GOD wants because most assuredly,
without doubt, I know and understand GOD to be kind, just, and right
(Jeremiah 9:24).

"Good..." -- King David (2 Samuel 3:13)

Thereby revealing that he knew what was happening was what GOD
wanted !!!

"All that GOD wants is good." -- Holy Spirit

Amen.

"The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from
the Spirit of GOD, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot
understand them, because they are spiritually discerned." (1 Cor 2:14)

Amen.

Yes, they choose not to accept the opportunity to reason with the LORD
because they think to do so would be foolish.

Only GOD can soften their hearts so that they would come to trust the
LORD and no longer think reasoning with the LORD would be foolishness.

Attending church is also not the "good fruit" by which we are to
recognize other true Christians because many attending church as not
able to publicly say "Jesus is LORD."

What is written at Romans 10:10 is actually ...

"For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it
is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

It is not until we believe in Jesus (trust the truth) with our hearts
that the Holy Spirit is willing to help us publicly say "Jesus is
LORD."

"... no one can say 'Jesus is LORD' except by the Holy Spirit." (1 Cor
12:3)

We are saved by GOD.

We know we have been saved by GOD when we are able to say "Jesus is
LORD."

Terry Cross is not able to publicly say "Jesus is LORD."

No exit when there has been no entry.

It is not by our minds but by our hearts that GOD saves us.

Ok.

"In addition to the nature and purpose of her creation, there is a
secondary reason why woman should not be taking the leadership role in
the home or church. When the first woman took such a role, yielding to
the temptation to reject God’s Word without first consulting her
husband, she then induced Adam also to sin, thereby bringing sin into
God’s perfect world (Genesis 3:6; Romans 5:12). Adam was not deceived
by Satan’s lie, but deliberately associated himself also with Eve in
her sin because of her wanting him to join her in eating the forbidden
fruit (Genesis 3:12) and presumably also because of his love for her
and his willingness to share her punishment. The many daughters of Eve
share the trusting nature of their first mother and so (in general, at
least) are more easily deceived by those evil spirits who can
masquerade as angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). Although there
may be exceptions when—for want of masculine leadership—a Christian
woman may be forced to assume the spiritual leadership in the home
(for example, Timothy’s own mother and grandmother) or even in the
family of God (e.g., Deborah—Judges 4:4, 8), this is not the divinely
ordained way. There is no New Testament example of a woman serving as
an elder or bishop or pastor of a local church, with the possible
exception of the false prophetess Jezebel in the church at Thyatira
(Revelation 2:20), who was evidently herself also deceived by Satan."

Comment:

Yes, men and women were created differently by GOD and thereby are to
serve Him differently.

Has the Holy Spirit given you the precious understanding as to whether
Mary Magdalene was a disciple of LORD Jesus Christ?

If not and you have a desire to know the Spirit-guided answer to the
provocative question ...

"Was Mary Magdalene one of Jesus' disciples?"

... simply leave me a voicemail at the telephone number listed at:

... with your callback number and surely I will call you, LORD
willing. It truly is a fascinating answer that is amazing and really
glorifies GOD allowing us to know that He remains the Source of all
knowledge and wisdom.
