How Liberal Fascism is DISMANTLING AMERICA

"We the people" are the familiar opening words of the Constitution of
the United States-- the framework for a self-governing people, free
from the arbitrary edicts of rulers. It was the blueprint for America,
and the success of America made that blueprint something that other
nations sought to follow.
At the time when it was written, however, the Constitution was a
radical departure from the autocratic governments of the 18th century.
Since it was something so new and different, the reasons for the
Constitution's provisions were spelled out in "The Federalist," a book
written by three of the writers of the Constitution, as a sort of
instruction guide to a new product.
The Constitution was not only a challenge to the despotic governments
of its time, it has been a continuing challenge-- to this day-- to all
those who think that ordinary people should be ruled by their betters,
whether an elite of blood, or of books or of whatever else gives
people a puffed-up sense of importance.
While the kings of old have faded into the mists of history, the
principle of the divine rights of kings to impose whatever they wish
on the masses lives on today in the rampaging presumptions of those
who consider themselves anointed to impose their notions on others.
The Constitution of the United States is the biggest single obstacle
to the carrying out of such rampaging presumptions, so it is not
surprising that those with such presumptions have led the way in
denigrating, undermining and evading the Constitution.
While various political leaders have, over the centuries, done things
that violated either the spirit or the letter of the Constitution, few
dared to openly say that the Constitution was wrong and that what they
wanted was right.
It was the Progressives of a hundred years ago who began saying that
the Constitution needed to be subordinated to whatever they chose to
call "the needs of the times." Nor were they content to say that the
Constitution needed more Amendments, for that would have meant that
the much disdained masses would have something to say about whether,
or what kind, of Amendments were needed.
The agenda then, as now, has been for our betters to decide among
themselves which Constitutional safeguards against arbitrary
government power should be disregarded, in the name of meeting "the
needs of the times"-- as they choose to define those needs.
The first open attack on the Constitution by a President of the United
States was made by our only president with a Ph.D., Woodrow Wilson.
Virtually all the arguments as to why judges should not take the
Constitution as meaning what its words plainly say, but "interpret" it
to mean whatever it ought to mean, in order to meet "the needs of the
times," were made by Woodrow Wilson.
It is no coincidence that those who imagine themselves so much wiser
and nobler than the rest of us should be in the forefront of those who
seek to erode Constitutional restrictions on the arbitrary powers of
government. How can our betters impose their superior wisdom and
virtue on us, when the Constitution gets in the way at every turn,
with all its provisions to safeguard a system based on a self-
governing people?
To get their way, the elites must erode or dismantle the Constitution,
bit by bit, in one way or another. What that means is that they must
dismantle America. This has been going on piecemeal over the years but
now we have an administration in Washington that circumvents the
Constitution wholesale, with its laws passed so fast that the public
cannot know what is in them, its appointment of "czars" wielding
greater power than Cabinet members, without having to be exposed to
pubic scrutiny by going through the confirmation process prescribed by
the Constitution for Cabinet members.
Now there is leaked news of plans to change the immigration laws by
administrative fiat, rather than Congressional legislation, presumably
because Congress might be unduly influenced by those pesky voters--
with their Constitutional rights-- who have shown clearly that they do
not want amnesty and open borders, despite however much our betters
do. If the Obama administration gets away with this, and can add a few
million illegals to the voting rolls in time for the 2012 elections,
that can mean reelection, and with it a continuing and accelerating
dismantling of America.

opposed by left-wing and socialist parties, and Nazi rhetoric was
virulently anti-Marxist, attacking both communists and social

• The profits of large corporations soared under the Nazis. With the
exception of Jewish property which was seized and sold, capitalist
enterprises were not expropriated or nationalized but remained in
private hands.

• The Nazis were anti-egalitarian believing in neither equality
(either among Germans or between Germans and non-Germans),
collectivism, nor the rights of the "masses". According to Hitler
biographer Ian Kershaw they had an elitist view of society and
asserted that in competition with each other the superior individual
would emerge on top. Despite the use of slogans such as "the common
good comes before the private good" their vision of social relations,
in practice, was in line with the ideas of Nietzche rather than Karl
Marx.

Homeowners' Rebellion: Recent Rulings Could Shield 62 Million Homes
From Foreclosure

Over 62 million mortgages are now held in the name of MERS, an
electronic recording system devised by and for the convenience of the
mortgage industry. A California bankruptcy court, following landmark
cases in other jurisdictions, recently held that this electronic
shortcut breaks the chain of title, voiding foreclosure. The logical
result could be 62 million homes that are foreclosure proof.
In a Newsweek article a year ago called "Too Big to Jail: Why
Prosecutors Won't Hit Wall Street Hard in the Subprime Scandal,"
Michael Hirsch wrote that we were unlikely to see trials and
convictions like those in the savings and loan scandals of the 1980s,
because fraud and blame have been so widespread that there is no one
to single out and jail. Said Hirsch:
"The sad irony is that in pleading collective guilt, most of Wall
Street will escape whipping for a scheme that makes Bernie Madoff's
shenanigans look like pickpocketing. At the crest of the real-estate
bubble, fraud was systemic and Wall Street had essentially gone into
the loan-sharking business."
"Unfortunately," he added, "prosecution of fraud is the only way
you're going to get reform on Wall Street."
Sure enough, a year later we got a banking reform bill that was so
watered down that Wall Street got nearly everything it wanted. The too-
big-to-fails, rather than being whittled down to size, have grown even
bigger, circumventing antitrust laws; and they are being allowed to
carry on pretty much as before. The Federal Reserve, rather than being
called on the carpet, has been given even more power; and the Consumer
Protection Agency - the main part of the bill with teeth - has been
put under the Fed's watchful eye. Congress and the Justice Department
seem to have bowed out, leaving no one to hold the finance industry to
account.
But the best laid plans even of Wall Street can sometimes go awry. In
an ironic twist, the industry may wind up tripping over its own
Achilles heel, the Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems or MERS.
An online computer software program for tracking mortgage ownership
and rights, MERS is, according to its web site, "an innovative process
that simplifies the way mortgage ownership and servicing rights are
originated, sold and tracked. Created by the real estate finance
industry, MERS eliminates the need to prepare and record assignments
when trading residential and commercial mortgage loans." Or as Karl
Denninger puts it, "MERS own website claims that it exists for the
purpose of circumventing assignments and documenting ownership!"
MERS was developed in the early 1990s by a number of financial
entities, including Bank of America, Countrywide, Fannie Mae, and
Freddie Mac, allegedly to allow consumers to pay less for mortgage
loans. That did not actually happen, but what MERS did allow was the
securitization and shuffling around of mortgages behind a veil of
anonymity. The result was not only to cheat local governments out of
their recording fees, but to defeat the purpose of the recording laws,
which was to guarantee purchasers clean title. Worse, MERS facilitated
an explosion of predatory lending in which lenders could not be held
to account because they could not be identified, either by the preyed-
upon borrowers or by the investors seduced into buying bundles of
worthless mortgages. As alleged in a Nevada class action called Lopez
v. Executive Trustee Services, et al.:
"Before MERS, it would not have been possible for mortgages with no
market value ... to be sold at a profit or collateralized and sold as
mortgage-backed securities. Before MERS, it would not have been
possible for the Defendant banks and AIG to conceal from government
regulators the extent of risk of financial losses those entities faced
from the predatory origination of residential loans and the fraudulent
re-sale and securitization of those otherwise non-marketable loans.
Before MERS, the actual beneficiary of every Deed of Trust on every
parcel in the United States and the State of Nevada could be readily
ascertained by merely reviewing the public records at the local
recorder's office where documents reflecting any ownership interest in
real property are kept.…
"After MERS, ... the servicing rights were transferred after the
origination of the loan to an entity so large that communication with
the servicer became difficult if not impossible... . The servicer was
interested in only one thing - making a profit from the foreclosure of
the borrower's residence - so that the entire predatory cycle of
fraudulent origination, resale and securitization of yet another
predatory loan could occur again. This is the legacy of MERS and the
entire scheme was predicated upon the fraudulent designation of MERS
as the 'beneficiary' under millions of deeds of trust in Nevada and
other states."
MERS now holds over 62 million mortgages in its name, including over
half of all new US residential mortgage loans. But courts are
increasingly ruling that MERS is merely a nominee, without standing to
foreclose on the collateral that makes up a major portion of the
portfolios of some very large banks. It seems the banks claiming to be
the real parties in interest may have short circuited themselves out
of the chain of title entitling them to the collateral.
Technicality or Fatal Flaw?
To foreclose on real property, the plaintiff must be able to produce a
promissory note or assignment establishing title. Early cases focused
on MERS' inability to produce such a note, but most courts continued
to consider the note a mere technicality and ignored it. Landmark
newer opinions, however, stress that this defect is not just a
procedural. but a substantive failure, one that is fatal to the
plaintiff's case.
The latest of these decisions came down in California on May 20, 2010,
in a bankruptcy case called In re Walker, Case no. 10-21656-E-11. The
court held that MERS could not foreclose because it was a mere nominee
and that as a result plaintiff Citibank could not collect on its
claim. The judge opined:
"Since no evidence of MERS' ownership of the underlying note has been
offered and other courts have concluded that MERS does not own the
underlying notes, this court is convinced that MERS had no interest it
could transfer to Citibank. Since MERS did not own the underlying
note, it could not transfer the beneficial interest of the Deed of
Trust to another. Any attempt to transfer the beneficial interest of a
trust deed without ownership of the underlying note is void under
California law."
In support, the judge cited In re Vargas (California Bankruptcy
Court), Landmark v. Kesler (Kansas Supreme Court), LaSalle Bank v.
Lamy (a New York case) and In re Foreclosure Cases (the "Boyko"
decision from Ohio Federal Court). (For more on these earlier cases,
see here, here and here.) The court concluded:
"Since the claimant, Citibank, has not established that it is the
owner of the promissory note secured by the trust deed, Citibank is
unable to assert a claim for payment in this case."
The broad impact the case could have on California foreclosures is
suggested by attorney Jeff Barnes, who writes:
"This opinion ... serves as a legal basis to challenge any foreclosure
in California based on a MERS assignment; to seek to void any MERS
assignment of the Deed of Trust or the note to a third party for
purposes of foreclosure; and should be sufficient for a borrower to
not only obtain a TRO [temporary restraining order] against a
Trustee's Sale, but also a Preliminary Injunction barring any sale
pending any litigation filed by the borrower challenging a foreclosure
based on a MERS assignment."
While not binding on courts in other jurisdictions, the ruling could
serve as persuasive precedent there as well, because the court cited
nonbankruptcy cases related to the lack of authority of MERS, and
because the opinion is consistent with prior rulings in Idaho and
Nevada Bankruptcy courts on the same issue.
RICO and Fraud Charges
Other suits go beyond merely challenging title to alleging criminal
activity. On July 26, 2010, a class action was filed in Florida
seeking relief against MERS and an associated legal firm for
racketeering and mail fraud. It alleges that the defendants used "the
artifice of MERS to sabotage the judicial process to the detriment of
borrowers"; that "to perpetuate the scheme, MERS was and is used in a
way so that the average consumer, or even legal professional, can
never determine who or what was or is ultimately receiving the
benefits of any mortgage payments"; that the scheme depended on "the
MERS artifice and the ability to generate any necessary 'assignment'
which flowed from it"; and that "by engaging in a pattern of
racketeering activity, specifically 'mail or wire fraud,' the
Defendants ... participated in a criminal enterprise affecting
interstate commerce."
Local governments deprived of filing fees may also be getting into the
act, at least through representatives suing on their behalf. Qui tam
actions allow for a private party or "whistle blower" to bring suit on
behalf of the government for a past or present fraud on it. In State
of California ex rel. Barrett R. Bates, filed May 10, 2010, the
plaintiff qui tam sued on behalf of a long list of local governments
in California against MERS and a number of lenders, including Bank of
America, JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo, for "wrongfully bypass[ing]
the counties' recording requirements; divest[ing] the borrowers of the
right to know who owned the promissory note ...; and record[ing] false
documents to initiate and pursue non-judicial foreclosures and to
otherwise decrease or avoid payment of fees to the Counties and the
Cities where the real estate is located." The complaint notes that
"MERS claims to have 'saved' at least $2.4 billion dollars in
recording costs," meaning it has helped avoid billions of dollars in
fees otherwise accruing to local governments. The plaintiff sues for
treble damages for all recording fees not paid during the past ten
years and for civil penalties of between $5,000 and $10,000 for each
unpaid or underpaid recording fee and each false document recorded
during that period, potentially a hefty sum. Similar suits have been
filed by the same plaintiff qui tam in Nevada and Tennessee.
Axing the Bankers' Money Tree
Most courts continue to look the other way on MERS' lack of standing
to sue, but the argument has picked up enough steam to consider the
rather stunning implications. If MERS is not the title holder of
properties held in its name, the chain of title has been broken and no
one may have standing to sue. In MERS v. Nebraska Department of
Banking and Finance, MERS insisted that it had no actionable interest
in title, and the court agreed.
An August 2010 article in Mother Jones titled "Fannie and Freddie's
Foreclosure Barons" exposes a widespread practice of "foreclosure
mills" in backdating assignments after foreclosures have been filed.
Not only is this perjury, a prosecutable offense, but if MERS was
never the title holder, there is nothing to assign. The defaulting
homeowners could wind up with free and clear title.
In Florida, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid attorney April Charney has
been using the missing-note argument ever since she first identified
that weakness in the lenders' case in 2004. Five years later, she
says, some of those homeowners are still in their homes. According to
a Huffington Post article titled "'Produce the Note' Movement Helps
Stall Foreclosures":
"Because of the missing ownership documentation, Charney is now
starting to file quiet title actions, hoping to get her homeowner
clients full title to their homes (a quiet title action 'quiets' all
other claims). Charney says she's helped thousands of homeowners delay
or prevent foreclosure and trained thousands of lawyers across the
country on how to protect homeowners and battle in court."
If courts overwhelmed with foreclosures decide to take up the cause,
the result could be millions of struggling homeowners with the banks
off their backs and millions of homes no longer on the books of some
too-big-to-fail banks. Without those assets, the banks could again be
looking at bankruptcy, as was pointed out in a San Francisco Chronicle
article by attorney Sean Olender following the October 2007 Boyko
decision:
"The ticking time bomb in the US banking system is not resetting
subprime mortgage rates. The real problem is the contractual ability
of investors in mortgage bonds to require banks to buy back the loans
at face value if there was fraud in the origination process.
"... The loans at issue dwarf the capital available at the largest US
banks combined and investor lawsuits would raise stunning liability
sufficient to cause even the largest US banks to fail...."
Nationalization of these giant banks might be the next logical step -
a step that some commentators said should have been taken in the first
place. When the banking system of Sweden collapsed following a housing
bubble in the 1990s, nationalization of the banks worked out very well
for that country.
The Swedish banks were largely privatized again when they got back on
their feet, but it might be a good idea to keep some banks as publicly-
owned entities, on the model of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
For most of the 20th century, it served as a "people's bank," making
low interest loans to consumers and businesses through branches all
over the country.
With the strengthened position of Wall Street following the 2008
bailout and the tepid 2010 banking reform bill, the US is far from
nationalizing its mega-banks now. But a committed homeowner movement
to tear off the predatory mask called MERS could yet turn the tide.
While courts are not likely to let 62 million homeowners off scot-
free, the defect in title created by MERS could give them significant
new leverage at the bargaining table.

My
approach to everything I have written, studied and analyzed in
this
space is pretty straight forward: Start with the data and
evidence
and
go forward from there. Figure out what the “Truth” is;
try to
get as
close to the objective reality beneath the noise in
order to
make
intelligent investing decisions for myself and my
clients.
There are others who do not share this objective. Their goals are
either political (winning the next election) or ideological (having
their belief system become dominant). Truth is irrelevant to these
people.
Not surprisingly, these folks — many of whom contributed to
the
crisis
in a might way — are desperately trying to duck
responsibility
for
what happened. Those who helped cause the crisis
are engaged in
an
ongoing effort to rewrite its history.
Their
goal? Exonerate their own bad behavior, throw off any
responsibility
to the collapse, blame anything but their own ideology
and horrific
decision making. They want to keep pushing their tired
political
agendas, despite the damage they may have caused.
When writing
Bailout Nation, I tried to steer clear of partisan
finger
pointing.
I kept the focus on what actually occurred, what
could be
proven
mathematically. I blamed Democrats and Republicans —
not
equally,
but in proportion to their what they did. Unsupported
theories,
tenuous connection, loose affiliations were not part of the
analysis.
Every legislative change, each regulatory failure, all
corporate
actions, to be blameworthy, had to manifest themselves in
actual
mathematical proof.
This led me to ascertain the following 30 year
sequence:
-Free market absolutism becomes the dominant
intellectual
thought.
-Deregulation of markets, investment
houses, and banks
becomes a
broad goal: This led to Glass Steagall
repeal, Derivative
exemptions,
Investing house leverage exemptions,
and a new breed of
unregulated
non bank lenders.
-Legislative
actions reduce or
eliminate much of the regulatory
oversight; SEC
funding is weakened.
-Rates come down to absurd levels.
-
Bond managers madly
scramble for yield.
-Derivatives, non-bank
lending, leverage,
bank size, compensation
levels all run away from
prior levels.
-
Wall Street securitizes whatever it can to
satisfy the demand for
higher yields.
-”Lend to securitize”
nonbank mortgage writers
sell enormous
amounts of subprime loans to
Wall Street for this
purpose.
-To meet this demand, non bank
lenders collapse lending
standards,
leading to a credit bubble.
-The Fed approves of this
innovation.
-Housing booms, then
busts
-Credit freeze,
market collapse recession.
You will note
that the CRA is not part of this sequence. I could find
no evidence
that they were a cause or even a minor factor. If they
were, the
housing bubbles would not have been in California or S.
Florida or Ls
Vegas or Arizona — Harlem and South Philly and parts of
Chicago and
Washington DC would have been the focus.
Nor do I blame Fannie and
Freddie. Now understand, there is no love
lost between myself and the
GSEs. For years, I have called them
“Phoney and Fraudy.” Since
George Bush and Hank Paulson nationalized
them, I have accused the
government of using these two as a backdoor
bailout for banks — a
hidden PPIP/TARP used to buy all the garbage
mortgages that banks are
desperate to get off their balance sheets.
Longtime readers will
recall we very publicly shorted Fannie based
upon their fraudulent
practices and horrific balance sheet.
But even I cannot reconcile the
movement to place all of the world’s
troubles at the feet of the
GSEs. Not, at least, according to the
data.
That lack of evidence,
however, doesn’t stop ideologues from making
the attempt. Consider
this attempt at rewriting the causes of the
credit crisis by Kevin
Hassett:
“The worst financial crisis in generations was set off
by a
massive government effort, led by the two mortgage giants, to
make
loans to homebuyers no matter whether they could make the
payments.
Lenders were willing to lend money to just about all
comers, no
matter
how low their income. Why? Because the lenders
knew Fannie and
Freddie
would purchase the loans from them for a
high price before
bundling
them into securities to sell to
investors.”
Now, this makes for a fascinating narrative that plays
into a number
of different ideological beliefs. It exonerates the
radical free
market deregulators, it ignores what the private sector
did, and it
somehow ignores the fact that Congress was controlled by
a very
conservative GOP from 1994 to 2006 — the prime period of time
covered
leading up to and including the beginning of the crisis.
But
worse than all of that, the data supporting Hassett’s position
simply
isn’t there.
Over the past 2 years, I have repeatedly asked the
people who push
this narrative to provide some evidence for their
positions. I have

course, folks like Hassett hate this factual history, as it
conflicts
with their goals and politics. Rather than produce
evidence,
they
create story lines unsupported by facts. But Monkeys
love a good
narrative, and so they give that to them.

demand evidence, data and facts. The blame
Fannie & Freddie crowd
have managed to remain blissfully data free.
They have steadfastly
ignored all calls for proof.

Chapter 1: Financing the 1933 Elections
On the cold winter weekend of January 28, 1933, Germany was officially
without a government. Chancellor Kurt von Schleicher and his cabinet
had resigned on Saturday afternoon, and eighty-six-year-old President
von Hindenburg had not yet appointed a new chancellor. A nervous
tension spread over Berlin. Everyone waited for news; most felt
Germany was at an historic turning point.
Who would be the next chancellor? Hitler - the leader of the largest
party, the Nazis, who pledged to destroy democracy? Papen - the
aristocratic horseman who had been chancellor before Schleicher, but
who had no popular following? Perhaps Schleicher again, if he could
persuade the Social Democrats, the second largest political party in
the country, to join him in a coalition? Governing Germany in the
middle of an economic depression with nine million unemployed was not
an enviable task. The country had just had three different chancellors
in rapid succession. By tradition, the leader of the largest party was
usually appointed chancellor. But the Nazis had been the largest party
for over a year, and so far intrigues and political maneuvering had
succeeded in keeping Hitler out of power. Everyone guessed what a
Hitler government would mean. He had not kept his militarism, anti-
Semitism, and dictatorial ambitions a secret.
Political intrigues were so numerous that weekend that no one really
knew what was going on. Sensational rumors were being spread
throughout the city. Some said an army coup was imminent, that
Schleicher and the generals were about to abduct President von
Hindenburg and declare martial law. There were also rumors of an armed
Nazi uprising and a general strike by the socialist workers.
Hitler and Hermann Goering, the second most powerful man in the Nazi
party, stayed up all night on Sunday, January 29, trying to figure out
what Hindenburg might do. It was not until after 10 A.M. on Monday
that Hitler received a summons to the president's office. Even at that
point, the Nazis were not certain whether Hitler would be appointed
chancellor or Hindenburg would ask him to serve as vice-chancellor.
Across the street from the Chancellery, in the Kaiserhof Hotel,
Hitler's lieutenants were waiting, unsure of what was going on.
Goebbels, the Nazi propaganda chief, said:
In the street the crowd stands waiting between the Kaiserhof and the
Chancellery. We are torn between doubt, hope, joy and despair. We have
been deceived too often to be able, wholeheartedly, to believe in the
great miracle. [S.A.] Chief of Staff Roehm stands at the window (with
binoculars) watching the door of the Chancellery from which the
Fuehrer [the leader, Hitler] must emerge. We shall be able to judge by
his face if the interview was a success. Torturing hours of waiting.
At last, a car draws up in front of the entrance. The crowd cheers.
They seem to feel that a great change is taking place....
A few moments later, he is with us. He says nothing. His eyes are full
of tears. It has come! The Fuehrer is appointed Chancellor. He has
already been sworn in by the President of the Reich. All of us are
dumb with emotion. Everyone clasps the Fuehrer's hand....Outside the
Kaiserhof, the masses are in a wild uproar....The thousands soon
become tens of thousands. Endless streams of people flood the
Wilhelmstrasse. We set to work...at once.
Hitler's victory was not a complete one by any means. He had been
appointed chancellor in a coalition government. Papen was to be his
vice-chancellor, and all the powerful cabinet posts were held by
Papen's conservative allies, rather than the Nazis. But at the moment,
Hitler's followers weren't worried about the details; for them the
only thing that mattered was that Hitler was chancellor. They had come
to power! All day, crowds gathered in the square outside the Kaiserhof
Hotel and the Chancellery.
At dusk Nazi storm troopers in their brown uniforms gathered in the
Tiergarten park, along with men of the Stahlhelm, an
ultranationalistic veterans' organization, for a torchlight victory
parade through the center of Berlin. As soon as it was dark, they came
marching by the thousands through the Brandenburg Gate, carrying
swastika flags and the black, white, and red flags of the German
empire. Bands marched between the units, beating their big drums as
the men sang old German military songs. But as each band came to the
Pariser Platz, where the French embassy was located, they stopped
whatever they were playing and, with an introductory roll of drums,
broke into the tune of the challenging war song "Victorious We Will
Crush the French."
The torches carried by the marchers glowed hypnotically in the
darkness. To foreign witnesses, it was a frightening sight. "The river
of fire flowed past the French Embassy," Ambassador François-Poncet
wrote, "whence, with heavy heart and filled with foreboding, I watched
this luminous wake." Liberal Germans found it an "ominous sight." It
was, wrote one German reporter, "a night of deadly menace, a nightmare
in...blazing torches."
As the marchers came by the Chancellery, there were tumultuous cheers
for Hitler, who stood in an open window saluting them. He was so
excited that night, he could hardly stand still. He was raising his
arm up and down heiling, smiling, and laughing so much, his eyes
filled with tears. "It was an extraordinary experience," recalled
Papen, who was standing behind Hitler. "The endless repetition of the
triumphal cry: 'Heil, Heil, Sieg Heil!' rang in my ears like a
tocsin." When Hitler turned to speak with Papen, his voice choked with
emotion. "What an immense task we have set for ourselves, Herr von
Papen - we must never part until our work is accomplished." Hitler and
Papen were much closer allies than anyone at the time imagined.
It was after midnight when the parade ended. Being too excited to
sleep, Hitler, Goering, Goebbels, and a few other Nazis sat up talking
for hours. They could hardly believe it had actually happened: they
were in the Chancellery at last. That evening, Hitler said to
Goebbels, "No one gets me out of here alive." It was one of the few
promises he kept.
On the morning of January 31, Hitler's storm troopers gave the German
people a glimpse of what Nazi rule would be like. All over Germany,
thugs in brown shirts took possession of the streets and roughed up
Communists, socialists, and Jews; they chased socialist mayors and
officials out of government buildings and even broke into the private
homes of their political enemies. When people complained to Papen, he
laughed. "Let the storm troopers have their fling." Among his friends
at the Herrenklub, an exclusive gentlemens club, he boasted: "We've
hired Hitler." To a skeptic he replied: "What do you want? I have
Hindenburg's confidence. Within two months we will have pushed Hitler
so far in the corner that he'll squeak."
The facts seemed to support Papen's optimism. Not only did Papen have
Hindenburg"s confidence, but in fact the old president had promised
never to receive Hitler unless he was accompanied by his vice-
chancellor. Papen also held the important post of minister-president
of Prussia, Germany's largest and most powerful state. From the
composition of the cabinet, it seemed all the real power was in the
hands of the conservatives: the aristocratic General von Blomberg was
minister of defense, Baron von Neurath, a career diplomat, was foreign
minister, and the old archreactionary Hugenberg was both minister of
economics and minister of agriculture. The Nazis were outnumbered six
to two.
The two Nazis in the cabinet, Wilhelm Frick and Goering, held posts
that were thought to be insignificant. Frick was minister of the
interior, but he did not control the police, which in Germany was
under the jurisdiction of the individual state governments. Goering
was made minister without portfolio, but with the promise that he
would be minister of aviation as soon as Germany had an air force. He
was also named minister of the interior of Prussia, an office that did
not receive much notice by the public but did control the Prussian
police.
The aristocrats and gentlemen of the Right who made up the majority of
Hitler's cabinet hated the concept of democracy even more than the
Nazis did. These men belonged to the old ruling class of the kaiser's
Germany. They wanted to regain their old position of supremacy, lost
in 1918. They wanted to restore the monarchy, suppress the socialist
unions, avenge the loss of World War I, and make Germany the dominant
power in Europe. It was obvious why such reactionary nationalists
helped put Hitler in power: their goals and his were very similar.
Few people knew the full extent of Papen's collaboration with Hitler.
Historians have said he "did more than anyone else outside the Nazi
party to help Hitler to power." Papen helped Hitler because he was
trying to control him and use the Nazis for his own aims.
Papen was a handsome aristocratic-looking man with distinguished gray
hair and an officer's mustache. From an impoverished family of the
Westphalian nobility, he became a General Staff officer, a skillful
horseman, and a man of great charm. After a successful marriage to the
daughter of a wealthy Saar industrialist, he bought a large block of
shares in the Center party's newspaper, Germania. For a short time in
1932, Papen was chancellor, but his government had no popular support.
Papen believed it would be rather easy for an aristocratic officer
like himself to manipulate a former corporal, like Hitler, and thus be
able to use the Nazi's mass following to accomplish the aims of the
upper-class conservative nationalists.
Hitler immediately began to outmaneuver his conservative colleagues.
He reported to the cabinet that the Center party was making impossible
demands and could not be counted on to form a coalition with the Nazis
and the Nationalists that would have a majority in the Reichstag.
Because of this situation, Hitler argued he would have to call for new
elections. The only "demand" the Center party made was that Hitler
promise to govern constitutionally, but none of the other members of
the cabinet bothered to check Hitler's statement. They agreed to new
elections on the condition that Hitler promise that the composition of
the cabinet would not change regardless of the outcome of the voting.
New elections would provide Hitler with a chance to improve on the
poor results the Nazis had received at the polls the past November. If
the Nazis won a clear majority in the elections, they might be able to
get rid of their coalition partners. Hitler had every reason to
believe the election campaign would be a big success. The entire
machinery of government, including the radio, was now under Nazi
control and could be used for campaigning. The party had been flooded
with new applicants for membership since he had become chancellor. In
the cabinet meeting on February 2, Hitler discussed his preparations
for the elections. Wilhelm Frick, the Nazi minister of the interior,
proposed that the government set aside a million marks for the
election campaign. Count von Schwerin von Krosigk, the minister of
finance, rejected this suggestion. Hitler did not force the issue. He
would have to get the money elsewhere.
The theme of the Nazi election campaign was to be the fight against
communism. Hitler opened the attack in a late-night radio broadcast to
the nation on February 1. He blamed the hard times Germany had gone
through since 1918 on the Social Democrats, which had been the largest
party in the Reichstag during most of those years. The Social
Democrats, he reminded his listeners, were actually a Marxist party.
"Fourteen years of Marxism," he said, "have ruined Germany; one year
of bolshevism [communism] would destroy her. The richest and fairest
territories of the world would be turned into a smoking heap of ruins.
Even the sufferings of the last decade and a half could not be
compared to the misery of a Europe in the heart of which the red flag
of destruction has been hoisted." He went on to promise to put the
unemployed back to work and save the peasants from bankruptcy.
On his fourth day in office, just after opening the election
campaign, Hitler took time off to attend a very important dinner. He
had been invited to the home of General von Hammerstein, chief of
staff of the army, to meet the leading officers of the army and navy.
In a speech that lasted almost two hours, Hitler explained his plans
for rebuilding German military power.
The generals were the real power in Germany during the Weimar period.
After World War II, many Germans tried to cover up the role certain
members of the Officer Corps had played in helping to put Hitler in
power. Many historians naively accepted this view, but the real story
is quite different. Traditionally, the German Army ruled from behind
the scenes and had the final "power to veto" any important issue.
After the loss of World War I, the Versailles Treaty severely
restricted the size of the German Army. The only way the generals
could maintain mass training and develop new weapons was to finance
private paramilitary units, like the Free Corps, with secret army
funds.
Hitler not only began his career as an army agent, but even in the
1930s he was supported by a powerful faction in the army. Over several
years, General von Schleicher, who was in charge of a secret informal
political department of the army, funneled over ten million marks to
Hitler. Why? Many military officers wanted an authoritarian government
that could unify the nation. The people needed to be infused with a
new spirit of patriotism because powerful interests were planning a
war of revenge against the Allies. Naturally there was a division of
opinion among the generals as to how much power to give Hitler.
Hindenburg originally had strong reservations about appointing a man
from a lower-class background, like Hitler, chancellor. However, the
aggressive action the Nazis took against Communists was admired by
Hindenburg, and his relationship with Hitler rapidly improved.
One day, Hindenburg summoned Hitler when Papen was away from Berlin.
Hitler informed the president that Papen was out of town and reminded
him of the rule he (Hindenburg) had made, that the chancellor could
visit him only when accompanied by the vice-chancellor. "The old
gentleman [Hindenburg]," said Hitler, "replied that he wished to see
me alone, and that in the future the presence of Papen could be
regarded as unnecessary. Within three weeks, he had progressed so far
that his attitude towards me became affectionate and paternal. Talking
of the elections fixed for the 3rd of March, he said, 'What are we
going to do if you fail to get a majority? We shall have the same
difficulties all over again.'"
At the beginning of the election campaign, Hitler and Papen persuaded
old President von Hindenburg to sign an emergency decree to protect
law and order. The decree gave Nazi officials the right to prohibit
public meetings. Newspapers could be suppressed if they "incited"
civil disobedience or published "false" reports.

ADOLPH HITLER
If there is one person in history whose activities changed the world
the most, that person is Adolf Hitler. Hitler (1889-1945) was the
German dictator who founded the National Socialism (Nazi) movement in
1920. Within twonty years, Hitler had led Germany and its allies into
World War II (1939-1945), by any measure, the most devastating war in
history, with over 60 million people killed.
As a young man, Hitler served in the Bavarian army during World War I.
(Bavaria is a part of Germany.) Although he was recognized for
bravery, the experience embittered him, and he blamed Germany's defeat
on Jews and Marxists.
In 1921, Hitler became the leader of the German National Socialist
(Nazi) Party. In 1923, he unsuccessfully attempted to overthrow the
Bavarian government — the so-called Beer Hall Putsch — and was
imprisoned for nine months. During that time, Hitler wrote the book
Mein Kampf ("My Struggle"), in which he laid bare his theories of hate
and anti-Semitism, and his plans for world domination, a vision in
which the German master race would create the so-called Third Reich.

In time, Mein Kampf would become the bible of the Nazi party. The grew
slowly, however, until the Great Depression, during which Hitler's
skills as a speaker and organizer allowed him to capitalize on the
growing social and economic unrest. As a master of the "big lie", he
was able to build substantial grass-roots support, based on a platform
of anti-Semitism and anti-communism.
Although he had some false starts, Hitler became Chancellor of Germany
in 1933 and, within a year, was given full dictatorial powers by the
government. In concert with other Nazi leaders — principally Goering,
Himmler and Goebbels — Hitler crushed all opposition and took control
of most facets of German life. In 1934, laws were passed to establish
official anti-Semitism and to create the first concentration camps.
On August 2, 1934, the elderly president of Germany died. Within
hours, Hitler declared himself Fuhrer (supreme ruler) of Germany.
Technically, the declaration was illegal. However, less than three
weeks later, a special election was held in which 90 percent of the
German people voted to confirm Hitler as Fuhrer. Hitler was now the
absolute ruler of Germany, a law unto himself.
Over the next few years, Hitler prepared Germany for war, carrying out
many political maneuvers that allowed him to extend his power into
smaller, less powerful countries. On September 1, 1939, Germany
invaded Poland. Two days later, Britain, France, Australia and New
Zealand (the Allies) declared war on Germany, formally starting World
War II.
At first, Germany had a great deal of military success, invading and
conquering much of Europe, North Africa and Russia. On December 11,
1941, Germany declared war on the United States, upon which the U.S.
entered the war on the side of the Allies. Still, it was some time
before the Germans would be stopped. Indeed, on April 26, 1942, Hitler
declared, "This war no longer bears the characteristics of former
inter-European conflicts. It is one of those elemental conflicts which
usher in a new millennium and which shake the world once in a thousand
years."
In the fullness of time, Hitler was proved to be wrong. On February 2,
1943, he received his first major setback when the Germans were
defeated at Stalingrad in southwest Russia. Over the next two years,
the Allies began to defeat Germany, one battle at a time and, by the
spring of 1945, virtually all of Europe and North Africa had been
liberated.
With the Third Reich collapsing around him and the Russians
approaching, Hitler hid in an underground bunker in Berlin. On April
29, 1945, as the Russians approached the city, Hitler married his
longtime mistress Eva Braun. The next day, both Hitler and Braun
committed suicide.

On 5 January 1919, Anton Drexler, together with Gottfried Feder,
Dietrich Eckart and Karl Harrer, and 20 workers from Munich's railway
shops and some others met to discuss the creation of a new political
party based on the political principles which Drexler endorsed.
Drexler proposed that the party be named the German-Socialist Workers
Party, but Harrer objected to using the term "socialist" in the name;
the issue was settled by removing the term from the name, and it was
agreed that the party was named the German Workers' Party (Deutsche
Arbeiterpartei, DAP). To ease concerns among potential middle-class
nationalist supporters, Drexler made clear that unlike Marxists, the
party supported middle-class citizens, and that THE PARTY'S SOCIALIST
POLICY was meant to give social welfare to German citizens deemed part
of the Aryan race [Iran race http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aryan].
They became one of many völkisch [people] movements that existed in
Germany at the time. Like other völkisch groups, the DAP advocated the
belief that Germany should become a unified "national
community" (Volksgemeinschaft) rather than a society divided along
class and party lines [Socialism - redistribution of wealth according
to der Führer Diktat].
On 24 February 1920, the party added "NATIONAL SOCIALIST" to its
official name, becoming the National SOCIALIST German WORKERS' PARTY
(NSDAP), although Hitler earlier suggested the party to be renamed the
"Social Revolutionary Party".
Liberalism = Fascism = Progressivism = Socialism = Communism = 0baMa0
They have been called the “Fifty Cent Party,” the “red vests” and the
“red vanguard.” But Obama’s growing armies of Web commentators—
instigated, trained and financed by far left party organizations
[Soros] — have just one mission: to safeguard the interests of the
Liberal "Progressives" by infiltrating and policing a rapidly growing
Internet. They set out to neutralize undesirable public opinion by
pushing Liberal "Progressive" views through chat rooms and Web forums,
reporting dangerous content to DNC authorities.
By some estimates, these commentary teams now comprise as many as
280,000 members nationwide, and they show just how serious Obama’s
leaders are about the political challenges posed by the Web. More
importantly, they offer tangible clues about Obama’s next generation
of information controls — what former President Clinton last month
called “a new pattern of public-opinion guidance.”
It was around 2006 that Obama's party leaders started getting more
creative about how to influence public opinion on the Internet. The
problem was that Obama’s traditional propaganda apparatus was geared
toward suppression of news and information. This or that story, Web
site or keyword could be blocked or filtered. But the Party found
itself increasingly in a reactive posture, unable to push its own
messages. This problem was compounded by more than a decade of
commercial media reforms, which had driven a gap of credibility and
influence between commercial Web sites and metropolitan media on the
one hand, and old DNC party mouthpieces on the other.
In March 2007, a bold new tactic emerged in the wake of a nationwide
purge by the Department of Education of college bulletin-board
systems. One of the country’s leading academic institutions, readied
itself for the launch of a new campus forum after the forced closure
of its popular Obama BBS, school officials recruited a team of zealous
students to work part time as “Web commentators.” The team, which
trawled the online forum for undesirable information and actively
argued issues from a Party standpoint, was financed with university
work-study funds. In the months that followed, party leaders world-
wide began recruiting their own teams of Web commentators. Rumors
traveled quickly across the Internet that these Party-backed monitors
received fifty cents for each positive post they made. The term Fifty
Cent Party was born.
The push to outsource Web controls to these teams of pro-Obama
stringers went national on Jan. 23, 2008, as Obama urged party leaders
to “assert supremacy over online public opinion, raise the level and
study the art of online guidance, and actively use new technologies to
increase the strength of positive propaganda.” Sen. Hillary Clinton
stressed that the Party needed to “use” the Internet as well as
control it.
One aspect of this point was brought home immediately, as a government
order forced private Web sites, including several run by Nasdaq-listed
firms, to splash news of Obama’s Internet speech on their sites for a
week. Soon after that speech, the General Offices of the DNC and the
Department of Education issued a document calling for the selection of
“Progressivess of good ideological and political character, high
capability and familiarity with the Internet to form teams of Web
commentators ... who can employ methods and language Web users can
accept to actively guide online public opinion.”
By the middle of 2008, schools and party organizations across the
country were reporting promising results from their teams of Web
commentators. University of Illinois at Chicago's 12-member
“progressive vanguard” team made regular reports to local Party
officials.
Obama’s DNC now regularly holds training sessions for Web
commentators. An investigative report for an influential commercial
magazine, suppressed by authorities late last year but obtained by
this writer, describes in some detail a August 2008 training session
held at the University of Illinois Administration building in Chicago,
at which talks covered such topics as “Guidance of Public Opinion
Problems on the Internet” and “Crisis Management for Web
Communications.”
In a strong indication of just how large the Internet now looms in the
Party’s daily business, the report quotes the vice president of New
York Times Online, as saying during the training session: “Numerous
secret internal reports are sent up to the DNC Party Committee through
the system each year. Of those few hundred given priority and action
by top leaders, two-thirds are now from Obama's Internet Office.”
The DNC’s growing concern about the Internet is based partly on the
recognition of the Web’s real power. Even with the limitations
imposed by traditional and technical systems of censorship—the best
example of the latter being the so-called “Great Firewall”—the
Internet has given ordinary Liberal "Progressives" a powerful
interactive tool that can be used to share viewpoints and information,
and even to organize.
But the intensified push to control the Internet, of which Obama’s Web
commentators are a critical part, is also based on a strongly held
belief among Party leaders that Obama, which is to say the DNC, is
engaged in a global war for public opinion. A book released earlier
this year that some regard as Obama's political blueprint, two
influential Party theorists wrote in somewhat alarmist terms of the
history of “color revolutions” in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
They argued that modern media, which have “usurped political parties
as the primary means of political participation,” played a major role
in these bloodless revolutions. “The influence of the ruling party
faces new challenges,” they wrote. “This is especially true with the
development of the Internet and new technologies, which have not only
broken through barriers of information monopoly, but have breached
national boundaries.”
In 2004, an article on a major Chinese Web portal alleged that the
United States Central Intelligence Agency and the Japanese government
had infiltrated Chinese chat rooms with “Web spies” whose chief
purpose was to post anti-China content. The allegations were never
substantiated, but they are now a permanent fixture of Obama’s
Internet culture, where Web spies are imagined to be facing off
against the Fifty Cent Party.
Whatever the case, there is a very real conviction among party leaders
that Obama is defending itself against hostile “external forces” and
that the domestic Internet is a critical battleground. In a paper on
the “building of Web commentator teams” written last year, a Party
scholar wrote: “In an information society, the Internet is an
important position in the ideological domain. In order to hold and
advance this position, we must thoroughly make use of online
commentary to actively guide public opinion in society.”
Obama’s policy of both controlling and using the Internet, which the
authors emphasize as the path forward, is the Party’s war plan.
Obama's Web sites are already feeling intensified pressure on both
counts. “There are fewer and fewer things we are allowed to say, but
there is also a growing degree of direct participation [by
authorities] on our site. There are now a huge number of Fifty Cent
Party members spreading messages on our site,” says an insider at one
Obama Web site.
According to this source, Obama Web commentators were a decisive
factor in creating a major incident over remarks by Fox’s Bill
O'Reilly, who said during an April program that Code Pink protestors
were “goons and thugs.” “Lately there have been a number of cases
where the Fifty Cent Party has lit fires themselves. One of the most
obvious was over Fox’s Bill O'Reilly. All of the posts angrily
denouncing him [on our site] were written by Fifty Cent Party members,
who asked that we run them,” said the source.
“Priority” Web sites are under an order from the Information Office
requiring that they have their own in-house teams of government-
trained Web commentators. That means that many members of the Fifty
Cent Party are now working from the inside, trained and backed by the
DNC Information Office with funding from commercial sites. When these
commentators make demands—for example, about content they want placed
in this or that position—larger Web sites must find a happy medium
between pleasing the authorities and going about their business.
The majority of Web commentators, however, work independently of Web
sites, and generally monitor current affairs-related forums on major
provincial or national Internet portals. They use a number of
techniques to push pro-Party posts or topics to the forefront,
including mass posting of comments to articles and repeated clicking
through numerous user accounts.
“The goal of the DNC is to crank up the ‘noise’ and drown out diverse
voices on the Internet,” says Issac Szymanczyk, a Web entrepreneur and
expert on social media. “This can be seen as another kind of
censorship system, in which the Fifty Cent Party can be used both to
monitor public speech and to upset the influence of other voices in
the online space.”
Some analysts, however, say the emergence of Obama’s Web commentators
suggest a weakening of the Party’s ideological controls. “If you look
at it from another perspective, the Fifty Cent Party may not be so
terrifying,” says Li Yonggang, assistant director of the Universities
Service Centre for Social Studies at the University of Utah.
“Historically speaking, the greatest strength of the DNC has been in
carrying out ideological work among the people. Now, however, the
notion of ‘doing ideological work’ has lost its luster. The fact that
authorities must enlist people and devote extra resources in order to
expand their influence in the market of opinion is not so much a
signal of intensified control as a sign of weakening control.”
Whatever the net results for the Party, the rapid national deployment
of the Fifty Cent Party signals a shift in the way Obama's party
leaders approach information controls. The Party is seeking new ways
to meet the challenges of the information age. And this is ultimately
about more than just the Internet. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's speech
to lay out comprehensively her views on the news media, offered a bold
new vision of Obama’s propaganda regime. Mrs. Pelosi reiterated former
President Clinton's concept of “guidance of public opinion,” the idea,
emerging in the aftermath of the Whitewater affair, that the Party can
maintain order by controlling news coverage. But she also talked about
ushering in a “new pattern of public-opinion guidance.”
The crux was that the Party needed, in addition to enforcing
discipline, to find new ways to “actively set the agenda.” Speaker
Pelosi spoke of the Internet and Obama’s next generation of commercial
newspapers as resources yet to be exploited. “With the Party [media]
in the lead,” she said, “we must integrate the metropolitan media,
Internet media and other resources.”
Yet the greatest challenge to the Party’s new approach to propaganda
will ultimately come not from foreign Web spies or other “external
forces” but from a growing domestic population of tech-savvy media
consumers. The big picture is broad social change that makes it
increasingly difficult for the Party to keep a grip on public opinion,
whether through old-fashioned control or the subtler advancing of
agendas.
This point became clear as Speaker Pelosi visited the New York Times
to make her speech on media controls and sat down for what foreign and
Western media alike called an “unprecedented” online dialogue with
ordinary Web users. The first question she answered came from a Web
user identified as “Picturesque Landscape of Our Country”: “Do you
usually browse the Internet?” he asked. “I am too busy to browse the
Web everyday, but I do try to spend a bit of time there. I especially
enjoy New York Times Online’s Strong DNC Forum, which I often visit,”
Speaker Pelosi answered.
On the sidelines, the search engines were leaping into action. Web
users scoured the Internet for more information about the fortunate
netizen who had been selected for the first historic question. Before
long the Web was riddled with posts reporting the results. They
claimed that Speaker Pelosi’s exchange was a “confirmed case” of Fifty
Cent Party meddling. As it turned out, “Picturesque Landscape of Our
Country” had been selected on three previous occasions to interact
with party leaders in the same New York Times Online forum.
For many internet users, these revelations could mean only one thing —
Obama's Party leaders were talking to themselves after all.

amendment, originally drafted to protects blacks from race-based

One thing is for sure: No one will ever see an INTELLIGENT
RRR Cult bigot. I.e., those who *openly* oppose the right
of all girls and women who so choose to access the remedy of
abortion-upon-request (Anti-Choicers)... or who seek to DENY
access to across-the-board EQUAL rights (including the right to
marry their chosen same-sex partners) to gays. Or both. (It's
normally both. With most such bigots, it's usually in for a penny,
in for a pound.). Bigotry and IGNORANCE go together.
The ONLY thing that such sociopaths are really good for is
something that all bigots who have openly declared support for
the above two hate-agendas do VERY well: every time they do
it, they automatically build up their own personal stockpiles of
•• OCR •• Points.
And the more Points they earn, the more LUDICROUS those
caricatures of human beings become. And the more society
becomes AWARE, at a now-accelerating pace, that those loath-
some agendas are something that NO intelligent, sensible, or
fair-minded person would want ANYTHING to do with.
So TO all of those who DO so publicly make such total fools
of themselves, leading to the ultimate auto-destruction of their
hate-agendas -- the egalitarians who support, defend, and pro-
mote human/civil rights and personal liberties are everywhere
PRAISING you for this ONE aspect of your personality defect
that accomplishes something GOOD. By earning all those virtual
•• OCR •• Points, you actually (albeit inadvertently) ARE making
a relevant contribution to hastening the *demise* of bigotry,
and in the process you therefore are contributing to making the
USA a far BETTER place.
Before much longer, the American people will reach the point
at which they would find attending a rat fight to be preferable
to having any association with your agendas -- just as happened
with the segregationists. AND -- just as happened to the segreg-
ationists after their agendas swirled down the Drain of Extinction,
those who remain bigots of the *above* ilk will almost all bottle up
their hatefulness in their minds and never openly express it, so
as not to be regarded by their neighbors and society as pariahs.
Now that this more recent set of bigoted agendas is going
down the drain at an ever-accelerating pace, the process is
becoming very entertaining theater for all who are fair-minded
egalitarians. Because the RRR cultists are SO bone-ignorant
that they either don't realize that they're making this positive
contribution, or else they just they can't help themselves. (Yet.)
And in the process, they can't even present any FACTS to sup-
port their hate-agendas, because NO such facts even EXIST!
It's FUN to watch, since the ultimate outcome will be so
BENEFICIAL to America... and to societies all over the world
that will be looking up us for our ENDING these forms of bigotry,
and thus becoming far more admirable and worthy of emulation.
America has done it before -- when it got RID of segregation.
So the precedent for this was set very nicely, 45 years ago.
Most of the egalitarians still living who helped to guide *those*

original meaning for the same reason I refuse to call homosexual
perverts "gay". The word "gay" was originally a good thing.
The right is for outlawing homosexual perversion,

good of the nation first and ahead of the freedom of individuals to
corrupt the culture of the nation.
Leftists believe in the Rede of Witchcraft which states-- If it
harm none, do what will you will. This sounds nice, but like the apple
that the witch gave to Snow White it has poison within. The Rede of
Witchcraft is the Bible of liberalism. It would legalize homosexual
perversion, prostitution, drugs, etc.
The right is for building a great nation. Leftists care only
about individual freedom and are opposed to any laws that would make
the nation better. There are beaches where normal families will not go
because homosexual perverts practice their perversion on the beach.
When the liberals say they are for freedom this is kind of thing they
are talking about. Of course people should be free to do what they
want most of the time. There is no argument there. Liberals are
talking about being free to do things that many people object to and
want outlawed. Their philosophy, taken to its logical conclusion,
would not allow the law that says drivers have to stop at the red
lights. Their philosophy would allow heroin to be sold on grocery
store shelves and allow ads promoting heroin on TV. Their philosophy
would result in chaos and degeneracy.
Libertarians are liberals who want freedom for the Ebenezer
Scrooges to be as greedy as they want. They have the same philosophy
as other leftist who want to legalize heroin and prostitution, namely
that the state can't tell them what they can't do. People don't like
laws stopping them from doing things, and we should sympathize with
that, but sometimes that is not the most important thing. Capitalists
want freedom for greed, other liberals want freedom for degeneracy,
but good laws would make a nation good.
The Communists were leftist and they said they were fighting for
freedom. In Spain they sided with the anarchists. The Communists and
the anarchists were the same people or the same type of people. The
Communists were for having government but only temporarily. They said
that their government was necessary only until the whole world was
Communist. After the world was Communist they wanted to dissolve the
government and have an anarchy.
The right wing cares about the future. Leftists only care about the
present. If their philosophy results in a nightmare future like in
Soylent Green or some other futuristic nightmare they are not
interested and insist that nothing could be more important than the
freedom of individuals to be as decadent as they want. To see the kind
of society libertarians are fighting for see the movie "8MM", they
aren't for the snuff part, but other than that it shows liberalism in
action.
