Sporge flooding of rec.audio.marketplace will commence in a few hours.

This will render rec.audio.marketplace useless. For an example, see Sci.Crypt.

Thanks to me, all of the audio groups are useless.

Did you know what newsgroup you were posting to? You appear
to be a rec.audio.marketplace reader, but you posted to
sci.crypt. Thus your "helpful" advice didn't reach anyone
your intended audience.

Amusingly, if you had posted to the right group, then
it might have been useful advice. However, as you sent
it to the only group that the attacker is known to read,
and the only one that the attack is actually currently
directed at, he could trivially do the next sporge run
with '!!!!' in every subject line. And make sure that
a.r.m was a recipient too. So you might have damned
yourself with your own advice.

If that happens, then read sci.crypt to find out what
we do to minimise the effects of his sporge runs.

For your own newsgroup's sake, please be more careful
next time.

Phil
