The venerable rec.gambling.blackjack (r.g.b.) started way back in the 1990s, soon after the Internet was opened to the civilians (the act of the Bill Clinton Administration, specifically the work of Vice President Al Gore).

There are countless threads here — I am referring to the pages saved by Google Groups. Evidently, it is impossible to keep tabs of everything written in this public forum. I ain’t a hypocrite like Norman Wattenberger, Don Schlesinger, Wizard of Odds/Vegas. I was a “traditional counter” and I still count cards. My fundamental problem with the “traditional card-counting” is this:

• The card-counter automatically raises his bet when the count is high (positive). The unfavorable situations, however, outnumber the positive cases. Therefore the counter loses more money than the basic strategy player. And that’s why there is virtually no round when ALL players at the table win. Losing is not bad variance — it is the norm… the real norm (not NORMan Bates0!

The super count I apply is primarily for the blackjack insurance. Certain situations (Tens-out in the round clearly below the norm… real norm)… favor also doubling down.

Google swallowed Deja News and created Google Groups. Deja News was a wonder even during the primitive era of the Internet (1990s). Google Groups was a decent platform, up until this November, 2020, Friday the 13th.

Frankly, I’ve been shocked Google Groups lasted this long! Google is notorious for:

My name is Maggie Lawson, and I am very enthusiastic to join the Internet of Think study program at STIKOM University. I am very interested in the world of technology and how software can help solve real world problems.

Since young, I have had a passion for programming. I started learning my first programming language at the age of 18, and since then, I have never stopped learning and developing my skills.
