Yes, but it does sound better than "Agree with me or I'll enter your
credentials into my Usenet news reader message filter". Of course
anyone who knows how a kill file and Usenet actually work could care
less, and those who don't know probably don't care.
>But what does it say about Tommy? Someone posts a correction to one or
>more of his wildest statements, complete with evidence that he really
>was incorrect and his response is, effectively, "OH YOU ARE PICKING ON
>ME! I'LL PUT YOU IN MY KILL FILE!"
What says more about Tom is that he's apparently intentionally posting
fabricated and erroneous information. Even when he would be expected
to know that he's wrong, he persists in trying to pass his lies as if
they were verifiable truths. To make things worse, he repeats his
erroneous claims multiple times. There's a long list of possible
explanations, but the one's that bother me is that he's intentionally
posting garbage when he knows better and that he seems to be doing it
solely to attract attention because he has discovered that wrong
information gets everyone's attention, while being correct merely gets
him a "+1" reply. It's sad to watch him try to set himself up as some
kind of authority, and then shoot himself in the foot by providing
wrong information that can easily be determined to be wrong with a
simple Google search.
