hm, maybe we won't break the 1,200 November threshold after all

posting seems to have slowed down considerably ever since:

we're already past 1,000 mw posts and
there's still 7 days left in November.
http://groups.google.com/group/misc.writing/msg/688791ec68f51f31

hourly volume was much heavier up until then.

curious.

anyway...

yeah, right after that thread, i noticed that mw posting screeched
almost to a halt for quite awhile.

and there's only 1,174 total, as of a few minutes ago.

oh well.

it's the pattern recognition.

such are the dynamics, of free speech and whatnot.

as a writer, if your opinions don't match up perfectly with the
control freaks...

if you refuse to submit to the various brainwasher's demands...

(whether those control freaks be magazine, newspaper, or book
publishers; internet censors or other such ISP vigilantes; film
companies or TV producers; and on and on and on... etc..)

well, you just gotta deal with the cards you're dealt.

(despite the soulless greedy braindead cheaters).

honest comedy will always eventually win out over self-righteous self-
serving malicious idiocy.

always.

You know that theory that if you observe an event of series of events,
the observation itself can alter the outcome.

I hate to say it but, it's your own fault, for having posted the
observation.

Don't worry, poor boy. You still have to have something to aim for.

no nervous typos....

see?

just take your time and do lots of breathing exercises before
responding.

then try to get that thinking cap light to turn on.

(even if it is a mighty loose fit).
