Previous 2 posts had another mistake
showing how hard it is to be perfect.
My calories yesterday, I had it right
in two parts, but incorrect in another
part of those posts, it was actually
240 minutes of exercise the last two ...
... days but I mistakenly said it was
210 minutes of exercise in one of the
locations, corrected below:
- - -
Previous post of this data, I indicated
two different weight losses yesterday,
both of which were incorrect.
The cause of my confusion, I was shooting
for 143.8 pounds, awoke at 144 pounds, but
after waiting 30 minutes and going to the
restroom one more time, and removing my
CGM & insulin pump Dash PDM from my arms,
and not drinking or eating anything, my ...
... weight was at 143.4 pounds, a 1.8
pound weight loss yesterday.
Those mistakes fixed in the re-post below:

to do your best," a quote from

BMI 23.0

Waist 28.0 inches
Height 5 feet 6.25 inches

Reflections, I lost almost 40 pounds
from December to March 22, getting
down to BMI 23.0 / weight 143.8 pounds:
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/misc.health.diabetes/Tpc-_00G9H8/IIRtrQCGAQAJ
Unfortunately, I got frustrated with
trying to get down to 139 pounds and
failing, and my weight drifted back
up to 147.0 pounds on May 9 ...
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/misc.health.diabetes/yy8yjnDjglY/scfz_fALAQAJ
... and continued drifting back up to
the top end of the normal weight range
at BMI 24.9 / weight 155.2 pounds on
May 28:
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/misc.health.diabetes/LZhS0p2nTCA/RMfKFRzWBwAJ
So, since then, re-efforting to lose
weight, and despite one bump in the
road with large calories 3 straight
days, regaining 4.6 pounds back up
to BMI 24.0 / weight 149.6 pounds on
June 26, ...
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/misc.health.diabetes/wjN25RyB-Bg/gHYowKz4AAAJ
... I'm now back in my weight loss
groove, 1.8 pound weight loss yester-
day getting me under the 23.2 BMI
barrier, and back down to BMI 23.0
I last was at on March 22, which at
that time was also a barrier.
My exercise the last 3 days has been
at record levels (for me), 270 min-
utes followed by 240 minutes per day
the next 2 days, and I'm starting to
lift weights, though I haven't yet
done that very much, I aim to try to
increase that in the coming days.
Hopefully, this time I can continue
in the weight loss groove and can
get down to 139 pounds where I'll
assess if I want to continue losing
weight or if I want to try to stay
at 139 pounds.
I'll probably continue losing weight
at 139 pounds as I still don't feel
thin, don't know how much weight I'd
have to lose to feel thin.

7/5 awakened with a 1.8 pound weight loss
(after 30 minutes and removing my CGM &
insulin pump Dash PDM & not drinking or
eating anythin) and now I'm at my lowest
weight since December, my BMI & waist now
at the BMI & waste I last had on March 22.
7/4, a .8 pound weight loss on awakening,
985 calories + another large 240 minutes
of exercise, complemented by better (lower)
insulin guesses, led to the latest weight
loss detailed above.
7/3, with my overnight increase in cal-
ories described below, a 1.2 pound in-
crease + 1,530 more calories after awak-
ening, a large 2,635 calories offset by
another large 240 minutes of exercise.
Persisting problem: too much insulin
during too many of the exercise ses-
sions.
7/2, 11.4% increase in calories, but an
incredibly large 270 minutes of exercise
leading to overnight (early on 7/3) fur-
ther 1,105 calorie increase to fight too
little anti-180 mg/dl insulin guess fol-
lowed by too much on 2nd & 3rd insulin ...
... guesses causing carbs to battle lows
before weighing myself on 7/3 (see above).
Added weight lifting to my daily exercise
routines on 7/2:
o Exercise
- 7/4, 8 30 minute indoor cycling
sessions, total 240 minutes,
10 20 lb weight lifts with each
arm in 1 session, total 10 20 lb
weight lifts with each arm
- 7/3, 8 30 minute indoor cycling
sessions, total 240 minutes,
10 20 lb weight lifts with each
arm in 1 session, total 10 20 lb
weight lifts with each arm
- 7/2, 9 30 minute indoor cycling
sessions, total 270 minutes,
10 20 lb weight lifts with each
arm in 1 session, total 10 20 lb
weight lifts with each arm
o Diet (including fiber & nuts &
coffee & atorvastatin & multi-
vitamins which I hadn't tracked
'til 5/31):

o Insulin dosing (note that sometimes
I do 30 minute elevated basal, like
a 30 minute bolus, usually due to
rising glucose, sometimes in con-
junction with exercise, & I suspend
basal when trying to prevent a hypo)
- 7/4 17.65 total units
~ 8.1 units basal (46%)
~ 9.55 units bolus (54%)

o Average glucose level (last HbA1c

was 18 mg/dl lower than my CGM aver-
age glucose)
- 7/4 121 mg/dl, fine all day,
100% 70 to 180 mg/dl

rest of the day was fine,
no > 180 mg/dl,
95.1% 70-180 mg/dl
