BMI is now 23.0, weight 143.8
pounds, Waist/Height Ratio 0.423,
waist 28 inches divided by height
of 66.25 inches.

Yesterday, I thought I finally
got to a reduced calorie level,
but for some reason, the more
I exercised the stronger my
insulin got - by the end of ...

... the day I was at a 66 carbs
for 1 unit of insulin level, so
most of my carbs were late in
the day due to my insulin lower-
ing my glucose more than expec-
ted (more than it normally does).

My exercise was at a record level,
210 minutes in -7- 30 minute ses-
sions.

I had gone to bed at 12:15 am but
my last insulin dose caused a drift
downward into the 70s, so I had to
get up and eat 68 carbs to prevent
a hypo, 305 calories, and that ...

... will be on tomorrow's calorie
report as it occurred after mid-
night.

Unfortunately, I was so scared of
low glucose that I neglected to
dose insulin before going to bed
(I should have) at 1 am and woke
up 2 hours later at 3 am to a sky-
rocketing high of 255 mg/dl before ...

... I could dose 2.65 units & raise
my basal to 0.35 units - it took 2
hours to get it under 130 mg/dl &
the dose was correct in that the
glucose stabilized at < 100 mg/dl.

3/10ths of a BMI lost in 1 day,
almost totally attributable to
210 minutes of exercise, but it
caused my insulin to get stronger
with each exercise session, lead-
ing to my insulin guesses being ...

... too high as I'm used to dosing
1 unit for 20 carbs and the insulin
strength by the end of the day had
risen to 1 unit for 66 carbs.

Yesterday's diet/insulin/exercise:

Mar 21 1,510 calories
15 fat, 270 carb, 87.5 protein
6.95 Fiasp Basal, 11.7 Fiasp Bolus, 18.65 Total Units
210 minutes indoor cycling
