I think in light of:
  1. The Chair and other compromised members of the LNC trying to manipulate and coerce Mr. Scott by leveraging his state party against him and playing head games on the incompetent, conflicted, (sabotaged?) Lit committee, and

  1. Oliver Hall withdrawing his fraudulent quid-pro-quo bribe to the LNC to keep the region 1 reps off the litigation committee and to silence our whistleblower complaints  — and

  1. Along with the fact that Mr. Hall and certain LNC members have a documented history of secretly meeting with our legal opponents without transparency and have previously been accused of conflicts and sabotage in these same legal matters 

  1. And finally, in light of known conflicts of interests on this board, and the plain fact that this "offer" should not be happening in secret away from scrutiny of other directors in the first place... therefore...

I think this meeting should happen in view of the LNC. 

If Luchini has an offer, we all deserve to hear it. 

I predicted last year that Luchini himself was likely working with corrupt, foreign-backed interests on this very board, and that they together would try to replace the NM affiliate with the Luchini affiliate by exaggerating toxic conflicts in the LP. 

Induced LP divorce seems to be the strategy, in fact. 

If you think any of the deep-state rats choking the LNC today can be trusted alone in secret legal negotiations with Luchini-the-government-bomb-maker, you're an idiot. 

Sorry, not sorry. It needed to be said.

We did not have a litigation committee when Mr. Hall made his offer, as one was not needed at the time because of the offer for pro-bono legal services, which Mr. Hall retracted after being abused by certain board members for months.

Despite all this, I have still been in alignment with Mr. Scott, and Region 1, that a lawsuit is necessary.

While originally, I was planning on having the full LNC in attendance, but kept muted, I am considering only have the ExCom, Mr. Scott, and legal counsel, due to concerns that having the full LNC could affect the outcome.

Since the ExCom is the body that deals with ongoing litigation, that is the body that will represent the LNC, if and/when a meeting occurs.

Also, if nothing can be nailed down before the end of the week, we need to proceed as we were. This has been several years at this point and months since it was decided by the body to pursue this. The fact that it has taken this long for the opposing organization to want to talk all of a sudden after multiple attempts to have this resolved without litigation that were ignored is ridiculous.

The Chair claims he is "in alignment with Mr. Scott, and Region 1." In September 2025, the Chair emailed Mr. Scott directly: "I may still be able to persuade Hall to do probono work if Martin and Chadderdon explicitly aren't involved."

Vice Chair Darr told Mr. Scott he wanted to support New Mexico "without the current roadblocks blocking us," and urged him to rally his fellow Region 1 chairs.

Mr. Scott, in his own words, reported to this board that LNC leadership was forcing him to choose between his principles and the legal resources his state needed, and that their demands to remove his Region 1 representatives were "unprecedented and deeply unsettling."

When this was raised on the public list, the Chair denied it: "No one has conditioned legal support on the removal of representatives."

I would ask the membership to consider: who does it seem like are the actual "current roadblocks blocking us" from providing the legal support that our affiliate deserves?

The full board authorized and funded this litigation. The full board should be present for any meeting with the opposing party.  Anything less should concern every director of this board and every member of the Libertarian Party.

As chair of the litigation committee, it would be unproductive to have the entire LNC or Ex Com on this meeting when Luchini has not yet even spoken to our committe despite his claims to the contrary. I openly welcome calls from members of the LNC asking about updates and I will share updates as needed, but there are too many chefs in the kitchen as is. It is in our hands as a committee and Fresh IP's hands as our counsel now.

I am sending out a link for a meeting with Luchini to the litigation committee and Luchini. . . His delay in setting the time for this meeting, circumventing of speaking with the committee, and confusion in communications has not amused me or anyone else on the committee. 

A closed meeting will be held between the litigation committee and Luchini and his committee members. That's what is happening. I welcome calls from all region 1 LNC members.

The problem isn't "too many cooks" — the problem is the secret dealings and lack of transparency and accountability for criminality on the LNC. 

It's naked corruption and political maneuvering. 

Stop downplaying, legitimizing, and making excuses for it.

Thank you Rob,

Could we at least be provided the date and time at which the meeting is to take place once it is scheduled? If I’m understanding correctly the delay is one sided, and if the delay is being prolonged, I’d like to be promptly informed. The full LNC has been frequently kept in the dark and I would like that not to happen again.

I respectfully disagree with this decision as being present allows us to be better informed on what's happening and catch non-verbal context on behaviors and where things stand, but I will definitely want updates if I'm not going to be able to sit in on the meeting myself.

That could've happened, it really could have, but instead of Mr. Luchini reaching out to the committee first, conversations outside of the committee occurred, and now I do not feel comfortable with an open meeting, especially since we already have counsel retained. I also would like to know what you and others would feel to be "productive." Again, please call me.

My understanding that "productive" to some means holding others accountable and then to others compromising and saving the party litigation expenses. . . But then when the issue is switched these parties seem to flip flop just like the Republicrats. . . So let me know what you think, because I know what my objective demands will be.
