Looking at The Spiritual Notebook, by Paul Twitchell (1971)

I have the 10th Printing - 1983 version with Introduction that mentions Paul Twitchell.
There appears to be appropriated writings (from Edouard Schure)on the very first page of the very first chapter. Copy of Schure's book is here.

Evidently the context was changed by Twitchell after he failed to include this information had come via an experience by Schure. It continues:
Schure writes: "[...] Those great prophets, those powerful figures whom we call Rama, Krishna, Hermes, Moses, Orpheus, Pythagoras, Plato and Jesus, appeared before me in a homogeneous group. [... .]"

Twitchell's verbatim copying and plagiarisms amounts to less than 2% of
his total writings, when in reality the truth is more than 90% of texts
was copied from other authors.
Doug Marman speaks untruths and falsehoods.
Be it in private email, on private discussion boards, on public boards,
and in his published books in print.
The same goes for Harold Klemp.
So much for the efficacy of the "path of total awareness" and the "vairagi

When are you going to PROVE this claim of yours?? Is it illegal in Australia for anyone to have the same initials as any other person does? So much for sean arundel having any awareness to speak of when it comes to proving his claims about others, despite the fact that the number of those is quite high.....have ANY evidence that the Vairagi ECK Masters are fictional as you suppose they are??

Not even remotely hard to do, and you WILL get some in a very personal sense, just not today nor in the way that you think....this I guarantee! But it will not be anything "produced" by me....keep on smiling, but let us pay attention to just how long and how often you are able to keep it on your face....your online persona does not count in the real world however....you love to twinkle and smile here, but IRL that is almost never the case...

This is curious, IMO, because on p. 165 (see public domain online link) of The Spiritual Notebook it has the following about the sun gods of Asia:
"[...] The sun gods of Asia were given the title of Christ, for it is an ancient title among peoples of the pre-Christian era. [... .]"
Consider then the following about "Jesus" or "Christ" ...
"[...] He was a saviour-god, after the manner of an Osiris, an Attis, a Mithra. Like them, he belonged by his origin to the celestial world; like them, he had made his appearance on the earth; like them, he had accomplished a work of universal redemption, efficacious and typical: like Adonis, Osiris, and Attis he had died a violent death, and like them he had returned to life; [... .]"

In the very next paragraph one can read sentences mirroring the concepts in that poem. The book reads: "As Rebazar Tarzs has always said, the perfect way is difficult, for those who pick and choose. (... .]" Etc., etc. (see p. 87 of online link)

Looking at these sections I wondered if similar to something Paul Twitchell did in his other book, The Flute of God. On about p. 74 he mentioned Hazrat Inayat Khan. On the next page (p. 75) appears the classic description of Hu as it was described in Hazrat Inayat Khan's book! It reads on p. 75: "The secret and unknown name of God was first given light by the ECK Masters - that which we call HU the beginning and the ending of all." What follows next is basically the same as what appeared in the 1920s book by Khan.

We can look at examples, from other books, showing more of what Rebazar Tarzs allegedly said. Can look at The Key to Eckankar, for example:
"Of course, of course," Rebazar Tarzs said, impatiently. "Do you remember that part of the Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad* where it says, 'All things when they are admitted are manifested through God by the Light and Sound, for everything that is made manifest is of Sound, or what we call the Word'? (pp. 3-4)

Looking at The Flute of God book - much of the text appearing earlier in Orion magazine - right from the beginning one can find names of Eck Masters attached to quotes from other people. Even the term "Shariyat" replacing "Holy Bible". One can find an Eck Master in place of Jesus and other historical characters, etc. etc. Iow, there is a history even showing two sets of writings by Twitchell and how they were "outfitted for Eckankar".

Paul typed up his favourite parts from the books he loaned from the library.
Because he also mentioned 'notebooks' to Roy Eugene Davis he probably also
made handwritten excerpts of books too.
I suspect he also used a photocopier and kept copies of material he could keep,
such as Scientology, Ruhani, Premamanda's Kriya Yoga materials, and the many
monthly mailouts/discourses from people like Bernard and Haanel.
