Performance Max Placement via Google Ads API

I could get Asset Reporting via API in the following thread, but what about Placement Reporting?

Could you let me know if there is a way to get Placement Reporting for Performance MAX Campaign via API?

Moving forward with your concern, unfortunately getting the Performance max campaigns placement is not yet available in the Google Ads API. However, our team already raised a feature request for this subject for review. For now, I would suggest for now, you may follow our blog for updates and announcements.

To explain this, you may check out the API's supported criteria guide as well as the reporting guide for Performance Max campaigns. Currently, the Placement criteria is not included in the list. Since it is not possible to target Placements in Performance Max campaigns, then this campaign type would not also be available in the managed_placement_view, which is the report you can use here. Also as per the reporting guide, it also states that :

• Key Point: Don't select an AdGroup when querying Performance Max campaigns, since no campaigns will be returned. Don't segment by AssetGroup either, as this is not permitted.
