to Council of Directors of School Psychology Programs

Greetings to my School Psych friends and colleagues – I hope your semesters have started off well and you are staying safe and healthy.

I’m writing to share an array of faculty and post-doc opportunities available at Mizzou in School Psych. Please consider applying yourself and/or forwarding to colleagues, program graduates, and soon-to-be program graduates that you think might be a good fit.

  • We are ecstatic to share that we have been approved for an open-rank position in School Psychology (Nov 1st application deadline). Dr. Wendy Reinke is chairing that search and she can be reached at rei...@missouri.edu with any questions. See attached job ad for details.

  • In addition, we are searching for an NTT Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor who will support two of our online programs (Mental Health Practices in Schools and School Counseling) (Oct 15th application deadline). My colleague Chris Slaten (sla...@missouri.edu) is chairing that search, but I’m also happy to answer any questions as a member of the search committee.

Finally, School Psychology is one of the identified areas targeted in Mizzou’s Preparing Future Faculty – Faculty Diversity (PFFFD) Postdoctoral Program. This program is designed to promote and develop scholars for tenure-track faculty positions at the University of Missouri or elsewhere, in any discipline. The fellowships are typically for two years, during which time the scholars focus on scholarship and participate in professional development activities that integrate and expose them to the faculty experience, including the opportunity to teach in their discipline during the second year. See https://gradschool.missouri.edu/postdoctoral-education/preparing-future-faculty-postdoctoral-program-for-faculty-diversity/ for application information (deadline 9/27/2021).
