I think Rivbike's Cheviot poppy photo is one the prettiest pictures I've seen on their site (that's a lot of "P's"). When I visited my mom up in Santa Ynez Valley, I stopped by La Purisma Mission and saw a field of poppies. I couldn't resist snapping a photo of my bike in a poppy field a la Cheviot style. As you've noticed, I don't shy away from color.

Anyone else inspired by poppies or flowers in the spring for bike photo opportunities?

Thanks David,

I think the stupid flower pic is beautiful. It looks local in SoCal. Love your bike too!

That's possibly the prettiest bike pic I've ever seen. I love the color of your Riv!

Hey Ness,

I have to echo the others that's a great shot! I too love the color of your custom what color is it? As far as bike and flower pics I love em but I've none that I can think of...I now have another mission.

Orange and pink is a fantastic combo, Ness! Great shot. You just need a little black dog in the basket in the field of poppies. Grin.

Is anyone else in the group getting trapped in a redirect loop when viewing Flickr photos? It doesn't seem to matter whether I click the link directly or if I copy it and paste it into another window. I sure hate missing out on all the springtime floral/Riv photos. :(

I discovered it only works when you're logged into Flickr. I've spent the last two days changing passwords. THANKS HEARTBLEED. *grump*

Cecily, who would be a lot less grumpy about changing passwords if she could ride her bike

Thanks Hugh and Deacon. Mark said it's called Fuchsia. Joe thought I may not like it because it's pretty bright, but all my bikes are a derivation of pink. :)

Deacon I don't have a black dog but I have a little butterscotch Tibetan Terrier. She needs to lose a few lbs. to fit in that basket though. :(

I've seen Mark's wife's Fuschia Riv). It's bright, and it's beautiful!

I had this 'redirect loop' problem intermittently this weekend.

Seems to be a bug accompanying the recent Flickr 'enhancements'.
