For sale 62cm Waterford Built Hunqapillar (revised posting)

I'm revising my prior posting and price of this 62cm Waterford Built Hunq. 

I am the original owner and purchased the complete bike from Rivendell in Walnut Creek. The bike is excellent condition with larger tire clearance. Price is $3,333. I paid over $4,700. I live locally in the East Bay and prefer local sales.

The variance in these top tube lengths is somewhat meaningless since the head tube angles are different on all of the bikes mentioned.  My Roadeo has a 73 degree Head tube angle (same as my, Map, Rex, and Waterford which all have similar TT lengths. My Gunnar has the shortest wheelbase and steepest HT angle at 73.5 degrees. It has a 60cm TT length but longer reach due to the saddle to bar position setup for the Oakland Port Ride.

Rivendell's Hunqapillar page describes the 62 as working for PBH's up to 100 cm. But it also says if you're in the high 6' range, to go with a Bombadil (or Atlantis, I'd presume).

Indeed! The 62cm Hunq's TT is long as it was designed around a bullmoose, albatross, or any other bar other than the noodle which is why you often see them with 130 technomic stems on Riv employees Hunqs. My picture shows my original setup with bullmoose which I didn't care for due to wrist pain I experienced when I rode anything over 20 miles. I used to ride the shop's demo 62cm Hunq (Taiwan made edition) with Grant while I was waiting for mine. It had albatross bars as did Jay R.'s first Waterford edition (prototype for larger tire clearance edition). I should mention mine is also the larger tire clearance edition.

Oh man, I test rode and wanted THAT bike. Even though it was a transitional version of the Hunqapillar of which surely very few were built, it seared itself into my brain as the perfection of that type of bike.
I believe it eventually sold to a customer and no doubt is making that person very happy.
