Romulus purchase

looking at a blue Romulus in very good shape with the exception of a rusted from dérailleur. Priced about $900 but has to be shipped. Any thoughts on value of that bike? I can see owning a second rivvy to go with my steel eddy. Thanks.

28 bucks for an Altus derailer. I'd try and have the shop independently verify the frame doesn't have hidden rust damage (inside, for example), but $900 ain't bad. It's your money and I'd pull the trigger. Grin.

$900 for a complete Rom is pretty right on in my mental calculus.
Shipping may be the deal breaker though. Haven't tried them, but maybe
