Hi!

I am putting together a Heron Wayfarer with some older parts. I am looking the original e6 light that did not have the black ring round the bulb/lens.

The light changed at some point because the guys that like to lay down and pedal complained about the light leaking and blinding them.

I have a clear lens with a broken "ear" you can have for the cost of shipping. I still used it after the ear broke.

What is the ear you speak of?

I'm guessing the little plastic nubs that hold the lens in place.  You can kind of push in on the lens and rotate, and the little ears line up with grooves so you can pull the lens out of the housing.

As Dave said - the ears are flat bits that keep the lens on the lamp. Kind of like a bayonet mount bulb.

Does anyone know what kind of glue works well on E6 lenses?
