Used Mark's Rack M1: $50

Info: http://www.rivbike.com/product-p/r1.htm

Pix: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/bop/4786021067.html

Selling cheap, because it's missing some mounting hardware. Missing "diving board" and two washer-esque parts (two round things in the pictures--you need four).  Accidentally sold them with a different rack.  Maybe that person can help you out (they're on this list).  Or maybe you can buy the missing parts from Rivendell.

Can pick it up in Fairfax, CA or Inner Sunset, San Francisco.

Will ship if you pay postage.  Paypal.

Thanks,
Ryan

Agh, I JUST bought one from my local shop for four times that price. Ah well, so it goes.

Your LBS charged you $200 for a Mark's rack?

That's what they cost up in Canada.

Riv has them for the cheapest price on their site, but if you want to order them from a local shop it's got to be done via Merry Sales (Soma), which is more expensive for who knows what reason. Then there is the whole US/Canada currency conversion (our dollar is the shits right now).

If I ordered straight from Riv, I'd have 30 dollars shipping as well, so that's 160 USD - 182 Canadian. So for only a bit more I was able to support my local shop, and it was part of a larger order anyway.

But yeah...they did.

Add the extra complexity of having to translate your order into Canadian!  It's a miracle Mark can buy anything for his FatLantis

It's not always easy, but boy is it ever worth it. I love my FatLantis
