This afternoon I tried with repeated failure to load the list-serve and continued to get error loading messages to that effect...I had access to my Goggle pages and other groups but couldn't get the Bunch to load!! I started to experience withdrawal symptoms thought I might need to go into some kind of treatment program say lurking on another lesser group ( no offense intended, but others pale in comparison) when miraculously the bunch loaded! Disaster averted.

Anyone else experience the non-load or some form of RBW BUNCH GROUP withdrawal? Perhaps when you were travelling...

Och, Hugh! You need a neural interface mainline. But first, ask yourself, what is it you are so hard up for that this group provides that you can't get from watching Monty Python or Red Green? Hhmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

With abandon,
Patrick

Hi Hugh,

Happens intermittently on home (iMac), work (windows 8), phones (droid and IPhone), and iPad.  So I don't think it's hardware or OS.  I get the Google Groups framework on the screen but the area for list content remains blank.  Restarting the browser and accessing the group again usually fixes the problem.  I believe you are running into [smirk] electronic potholes [/smirk].

Take care,

Tom

Perhaps a coded message that it's time to go for a bike ride... Try back later! :-)

Tony, that's surely the remedy :-)

I haven't gotten that "failure to load" issue, but I read via email digests, and click through to the Group to respond. Today I did kind of wonder where everyone was, and then shortly after four, I got three digests in short order, all bunched together like Muni buses.

I think something went wonky in the G-universe yesterday afternoon.  I couldn't access files and mail for about a half hour (not on-list, but via gmail).  Could have been some local server farm issue that they didn't catch for a bit.  But, it does seem to have resolved itself.

I too sensed a disturbance in the iForce on Thursday night. Friday morning I heard it was somehow related to the new iPhone and release of the new Apple iOS... which if true is rather scary... kinda like everyone flushing their toilets at the same time during Super Bowl halftime.

I fear iMegeddon is coming...
