These were purchased more than 10 years ago, I have used them with Shimano shifters only. The current model shows a slightly different shifter mount. Sorry I can not be more helpful.

So will 22.5 mm not widen to 23.8mm road bar diameter when it comes to Pauls Thumbies? And will Dura Ace indexed 7900 10 spd downtube shifters work with Paul Thumbies anyway?

Hello Dave,
I do not know if they will widen to fit 23.8mm. I have never used the thumbies with any index shifters.
