Born 1935 as son of Michael Paulet St John-Mildmay and Joan Elizabeth Stockley.

According to DB's online DB, his brother, Michael Hugh Paulet (b. 1937) was the hp and we presume is the new baronet.

Only Michael's 2 sons, Henry Walter (b. 1971, the new hp) and Oliver James (b. 1973) are in the line of succession.  They are shown as unmarried,

Any indication that either or both of these sons have sons of their own?  If not, this baronetcy is definitely on the endangered list.

Possible he was actually 13th Baronet?

Rev. Sir Aubrey Neville St John-Mildmay, 10th Bt., died 30 March 1955. His brother, Verus Arundell Maunder, was 11th Bt. but never claimed the title. Verus died 29 November 1965.

The deceased's father, Michael Paulet St-John-Mildmay, did not die until 1993, but also never claimed the title, though he was likely de jure 12th Bt.

According to Burkes Peerage, 106th Edition, the 12th Baronet succeeded the Baronet from Dormantcy in 1997 ?

Secondly, is hhis brother still alive, Michael Hugh Paulet St.John Mildmay, 28 Sep 1937.

Careful electoral roll searches shows Michael living at a Dursley, Gloucestershire address with his wife up until 2020.  GRO and Probate searches show no death for Michael, so we can presume he is still living.

The important question is whether Michael's 2 sons have any sons.  Considering they are b. 1971 and 1973, the future of this baronetcy hangs in the balance.

After investigating in social media and other sources, I think the answer is no, the sons appear to have no children.

There is one birth of a St John-Mildmay in 2013, however, the mother's maiden name is also St John-Mildmay, which suggests Emilia, Michael's dau, has had a child out of wedlock (this is supported by social media evidence too, though its not definitive)

Debrett's database updated to reflected this death and that of the new baronet's wife in 2020.  No children of the sons of the new Bt noted.

Interestingly they include a note that repeats our concerns over the numbering of the successors to the 10th Bt, and that they follow the lead of the Official Roll.
