MLO is a software with a very high usability degree. :)
If you do something you do it well. I'm sure the design and coding of these new features also.

Just a note:
Why did you use markdown language and not the "selection, B / I / U / Link" direct way of formatting text?

I also have a question:
What I miss most in the Android Version is to use Input parsing in Rapid Task Entry.
Is it possible to add this feature in a next release?

By the way, would it be a good feature to access theme formatting in shortcut menu over a view?

That would be nice.

Another feature that would be useful is conditional format assigned to a task in a shortcut menu, allowing task properties to be assigned conditional format properties at a glance, allowing us less effort and more productivity on testing any conditional format previously defined.

MLO v.5 a tiny jump but useful.

What I like most the markdown feature, very good.

Input parsing would be awesome. As a former user of Todoist, I have to admit that while MLO is a superior task manager, a lot of people go to Todoist because of the input parsing. If this were possible for MLO then I think that would draw a lot of people to it.

The developers are trying to keep the same functionality for android/ios.
As far as i know parsing is available on ios. So we need to have patience ;)

Sorry about that. I did mean in the mobile apps. I looked back at my post and forgot to mention Android because you're right, MLO does imput parsing very well.

You can do it when you enter a task but I wish it were possible in the mobile app when initially adding a task without having to manually add the dates. It makes adding tasks feel more "fluid", for lack of a better term

I'm in no way recommending Todoist because MLO does it better IMO. It's just this aspect of it that I'd want in the mobile app.

Hope that after years MLO will support secured emails. No provider in Europe supports unsecured emails anymore. So SSL is mandatory....

Every modern program for Windows or any other OS today use language tables so that the program can easily be translated by just adding a new translation table. Would be nice if MLO will get that modern.

On Windows it's since decades common use that on a mouse click on a table header (for example date column) the content of the table will be sorted for this column in ascending or descending order. Would be really, really wonderful if after decades MLO could add such an option.

Quick question - will v5 have proper 4K HIgh-DPI support?

Right now it's either fuzzy or the icons can barely be seen on a 4K 15.6" laptop...oh and the tabs are too small for the texts.

I don't think you should regret spending money on MLO or other pieces of
software made by small companies. It helps making these companies
profitable so they can offer better support and motivates them to

Dear Christoph, I did not regret spending money, I regret spending money a few months too early. It's a great software but it is expensive (but worth the money), however 6 months free updates is in my opinion too little.

I actually can't think of any productivity software out there that can do what MLO does that would be cheaper. Won't complain there. I left MLO for a week, instantly regretted it and now I'm happy to pay $30 for an upgrade.

You can get a sharp layout: on Windows 10 look for the mlo.exe file and right-click properties, choose the compatibility tab and activate "Override high DPI scaling behavior".
