Rebooting computer breaks one of my triggers reliably.

I have had the above problem since Mountain Lion, and it has persisted through several updates of Quicksilver (I am on 4007 now). I have a trigger set for opening my Gmail Inbox, and have set a hotkey to activate it. I use this: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?shva=1#inbox as my trigger, invoked through a CMD-M hotkey. This works fine till I reboot the computer, whereby it breaks, substituting the URL with this: public.rtf:E4AFC04F-9CA9-4DAC-9A8D-8C268087389F.
Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? I have other triggers set for opening web pages, launching applications and other things, and these run perfectly, regardless of how often I reboot. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I answered in this post. Have you tried that workaround?

First off - sorry about my double posting - I didn't see my first post in the forums for a while, and thought it hadn't made it..
I'm a bit lost by the workaround you linked to with the three tests, namely how you save them as triggers. The only was I know of is by creating a new trigger using the 'Hotkey' item at the bottom of the triggers pane. Sorry if I'm being a bit thick here - is that the approach you are suggesting? Looking at 'test 2', I see that using a plain text string was mentioned. I pasted my gmail URL into Text Edit, and selecting it, I made it plain text from the format menu. I pasted this into a new trigger, and tested it as in my first post - worked fine: I rebooted my Mac, then tried invoking it again to fine it had been changed to 'public:rtf....' etc as before. I have previously uninstalled quicksilver, rebooted, and installed the newest version (1.1.3, build 4007), but my problem persists.
Thanks for taking time with this - I use QuickSilver constantly after spending the time to learn about it, and wouldn't ever consider going back - and aside from this wee issue, I don't have any problems with the software - I'm a big fan now!

I'll watch out for movement on this - I'm sure there will be some sort of solution in due time.

Kind regards,

Duncan

The post I linked to says that when creating your trigger, before pasting your URL in the first pane you have to change to text mode with the period (.). So, first change to text mode, then paste it and save.
Or, you can type it in as in test 3 in the issue mentioned in that post.

Relaunch QS to see if it holds, you don't need to reboot.

I see now what you mean re. typing . to change to text mode - this is through invoking Quicksilver from the desktop. If I paste in my URL into the first QS box, and set the second box to Open URL, how do I then save all this as a new trigger?

You can create a trigger from QS main interface, check the wiki and the user's guide. But first try from the Preferences pane where you can also change the first pane to text mode.

Success! I didn't realise you meant press period at the Triggers preference pane, to change to text mode. This time round, I deleted my old Gmail Hotkey trigger, created a new one then hit period before pasting in my URL. I then gave it a hotkey, saved and quit QS. Relaunched, and it worked when invoked. To be extra certain things worked, I went as far as rebooting, and for the first time, the hotkey still worked. Thanks so much for your patience here - I now have no problems with QuickSilver!

Very grateful to you,

Kind regards,

Duncan
