Looking for immigration info for Ana Cândida De Jesus Souza

I am looking for possible immigration info for: Ana Cândida De Jesus Souza. 

I have her birth and marriage record from the Azores but there is no death record. I am thinking she immigrated to the United States.

A women has contacted me saying she has a match to Ana de Jesus Souza in her tree that matches mine but she says they immigrated from Portugal to West Virginia. All of the following children of Ana Cândida immigrated to Massachusetts.

Hi Todd,

 

Just some of my general impressions. I would say she died in the Azores. Have you checked the records of Santa Casa Misericordia which is part of the Sao Jose Records? The name Ana de Jesus Sousa is a common name so unless this person can trace her Ana back to Ponta Delgade I would not get too excited about it. Your Ana’s daughter Maria de Jesus Agusta Teves did not immigrate until she was 50 years old leads me to believe her mother was most likely deceased by that time (1900) or did not want to move in her old age (if she was still alive she would be 90 years old).
