Does anyone know if there are still people looking for crew positions for crossing in Lanzarote or Gran Canaria. Have 2 smart but inexperienced crew and would like someone with experience to jump on, too. Headed for Turks, then Cuba, when this darned weather eases.

There are quite a few still passing by boats here in Las Palmas and there is a facebook page Atlantic crossing where experienced crew are also advertising and this has links to crew websites unpaid etc.

We also stayed in Santa Cruz, Tenerife in 2015 and found the provisioning there really good. There are a couple of chandler's up in the town that we managed to purchase most of the courtesy flags that are required for the Caribbean and they were very cheap compared to what we were paying in the Med.
