The forecast is a bit lighter, 7 mph, and out of the West. A change
from the past weeks!
Some of us will go out a bit before 5 and sail till 7. Let me know if
you have suggestions or questions.
For those interested we will do a debrief about 7:45 by the east rigging
area, where one can share their observations of the night, what they
learned and/ or ask questions of others. All voluntary.

Wednesday Evening sailing at Tempe Town Lake
An informal gathering for sailing at Tempe Town Lake on Wednesday
evenings.
Start time, 5:30 ish. No scoring
Not an AYC event
1 minute starts
Start line, finish line and leeward gate will be two white buoys set
off the flag pole .
The first rounding mark will be set to the west which is usually upwind
of the start/ finish. Usually a white ball. Round mark to port.
Courses may vary. Here’s the most likely set up.
Start, west mark, gate, west mark, finish between start / gate marks.
Usually this is a windward, leeward, windward, leeward.
Depending on wind. Yes, a downwind finish. Or start depending on wind
direction.
No racing in less than 4 mph.
We will try to provide boats for anyone interested if given advanced
notice.
