The forecast is a bit lighter, 7 mph, and out of the West. A change
from the past weeks!

Some of us will go out a bit before 5 and sail till 7. Let me know if
you have suggestions or questions.

For those interested we will do a debrief about 7:45 by the east rigging
area, where one can share their observations of the night, what they
learned and/ or ask questions of others. All voluntary.

Wednesday Evening format.
Wednesday Evening sailing at Tempe Town Lake
An informal gathering for sailing at Tempe Town Lake on Wednesday
evenings.

Start time, 5:30 ish. No scoring

Not an AYC event

1 minute starts

Start line, finish line and leeward gate will be two white buoys set
off the flag pole .
The first rounding mark will be set to the west which is usually upwind
of the start/ finish. Usually a white ball. Round mark to port.

Courses may vary. Here’s the most likely set up.
Start, west mark, gate, west mark, finish between start / gate marks.
Usually this is a windward, leeward, windward, leeward.
Depending on wind. Yes, a downwind finish. Or start depending on wind
direction.

No racing in less than 4 mph.

We will try to provide boats for anyone interested if given advanced
notice.

The forecast for Wednesday is showing brisk winds out of the South.
Should be interesting.

The forecast is showing 8 mph wind out of the west for Wednesday
evening. And heat of 104. There seems to be interest. I’m planning on
going.

Most of the forecasts are showing moderate wind out of the West. And
warm temps. Should be fun.

I can't make it today - I blame work, the kids, and, ultimately, the Knicks (and my husband's fandom thereof).

The current forecasts are showing hot and breezy for Wednesday evening.
Maybe very breezy. Smaller sails may be warranted.

The last few Wednesday nights have been good sailing and relatively
comfortable on the water.

Some of us will go out a bit before 5 and sail till 7. Let me know if
you have suggestions or questions.
