Indeed. DNG is a container format which supports several kinds of data
and encodings. Lightroom recently seems to have started outputting DNG
files with embedded JpegXL data. This is not supported currently by PTGui.
I don't have LR at hand at the moment, but you might check if it has a
compatibility option for disabling JpegXL compression.
Adding support for jpegxl compression within DNG is one of the many
things that's on the wish list for a future version.
