Columns in MLO get shuffled (change their positions) regardless of whether I save the view

Dear MLO team, 

I am your new customer and I am using MLO on Win 7 system.

There is one very frustrating issue for me which based on my survey of existing topics may exist for a long time in MLO.

The order of columns in my view gets changed somewhat randomly throughout the lifecycle of using the application.

The problem is not readily reproducible with certain actions and the appearance of the issue is somewhat random.

I.e. one time when I close MLO and get back everything is OK, but another time the columns order has changed.

Sometimes I do not even need to exit MLO to get my columns mixed around (note: the active columns themselves are always saved and it is not a problem; BUT their order does not get saved properly).

Let ask you this question: how columns order is saved?

It is not obvious to me that it is saved with the view for the following reason.

If I change the order, there is no asterisk [*] on top of "Save" button in the view/filter settings.

Hi, Roman. I don't have the opportunity to check if my opinion is correct, but my opinion is that selected columns are stored as a part of the workspace definition. That way you could have one view selected in several different workspaces, with each workspace showing different columns.

Dwight is correct that column layout gets saved with the View.
