Hello drivers :)
Here is the new project status e-mail for the "Learning Area" project.
Reminder, a day to day update is available on WikiMo :
https://wiki.mozilla.org/MDN/Learning_Area
*Current Status*
The project is now becoming more and more concrete. A plan of things to
write has been drafted:
-
https://etherpad.mozilla.org/learning-area-structure
It's currently to early to be sure what a Learning Zone should look like,
but it is one of the goal of that project to make it so.
The first action is starting writing the basics for the glossary and start
linking it with the rest of MDN. This action is estimated to be finished in
June and a formal call to action has been sent:
-
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/mozilla.dev.mdc/wNvEoxJlMLs/ilQRx18z-fYJ
Discussion with the WebMaker team are moving forward. Ali is discussing
with Michelle and Laura to see how it is possible to organize a join work
week with the MDN team, the WebMaker team and some core contributors of
each teams.
Tagging of content is still on its way. Most of the relevant content on MDN
has been tagged for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced users. The next
tagging action is to use the tags define by the Web Literacy Map and tag
MDN content accordingly.
*Action required*
Ali to finish seting up a plan and define a date for the MDN/WebMakers
teams work week.
I gladly answer any question.
Best,
