It is described in the Bible that the Magi (aka powerful ones)
traveled about 5000 miles (2 years x 7 miles/day) from the very far
East (i.e. China) to bring the 2 yo LORD Jesus, Who was residing in a
house in Bethlehem, "gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh" (Matthew
2:11)

> God hates those fuckers.

There is no reason for GOD to hate those who have given Him "gifts of
gold, frankincense and myrrh" (Matthew 2:11).

Instead, it is written that GOD hates Esau (Malachi 1:2-3), who gave
away His gift of the birthright of a firstborn for a single meal
thereby being our #1 Biblical example of being
http://bit.ly/terribly_hungry (aka hangry per Genesis 25:32).

So let us not be a http://bit.ly/terribly_hungry (Genesis 25:32) Drumpf ( http://bit.ly/W_d_DJT_r ) or else we'll most certainly die a http://bit.ly/TerriblyStupid (Mark 9:42) death:

Your writing that being covered by the Lamb of GOD's Blood (Matthew
27:25), Who removes (Revelation 7:14) sin from our robes thereby
making them white, is a fate to "suffer" is blaspheming against (Mark
3:29) Him, which is an eternal sin.

While wonderfully hungry ( http://bit.ly/Philippians4_12 ) in the Holy
Spirit, Who causes (Deuteronomy 8:3) me to hunger right now (Luke
6:21a), I pray (2 Chronicles 7:14) that GOD continues to curse

<begin trichotomy>

(1) Born-again (John 3:3 & 5) humans - Folks who have GOD's Help (i.e.

http://bit.ly/wonderfully_hungry (Philippians 4:12) **but** are still

http://bit.ly/terribly_hungry (Genesis 25:32) trapped in the
entangling (Hebrews 12:1) deadly (i.e. killed immortals Adam&Eve) sin
of gluttony (Proverbs 23:2).

(2) Eternally condemned (Mark 3:29) humans - Folks who will never have
GOD's Help (i.e. Holy Spirit) to stop being
http://bit.ly/terribly_hungry (2 Kings 6:29) as evident by their
constant vainjangling (1 Timothy 1:6) about everything except how to
stop (John 5:14) sinning.

(3) Perishing humans - The remaining folks who may possibly (Matthew
19:26) become born-again (John 3:3 & 5) as new (2 Corinthians 5:17)
creatures in Christ.

Such are the lies coming from the lying pens of the
http://bit.ly/terribly_hungry (Genesis 25:32) commentators.

That which is "spiritual" is independent of time so that there
would've been no reference to "now."

Therefore, the LORD is referring to physical hunger here instead of
the spiritual "hunger and thirst for righteousness" elsewhere in
Scripture.

Indeed, physical hunger can **not** coexist with physical thirst
because the latter results in the loss of saliva needed for physical
hunger.

It is when we hunger for food "now" (Luke 6:21a) that we are able to
eat food "now."

No such time constraints exist for "spiritual hunger."

Moreover, the perspective of Luke 6:21a through the eyes of a
physician (i.e. Dr. Luke) would be logically expected to be physical
instead of spiritual.

All glory ( http://bit.ly/Psalm117_ ) to GOD for His compelling you to
unwittingly demonstrate your ever worsening cognitive condition which
is tragically a consequence of His cursing (Jeremiah 17:5) you more
than ever.

"When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was

Possibly by the Silk Road which is known to have been in use to carry
silk from China to Rome at the time:

https://www.britannica.com/topic/Silk-Road-trade-route

Distance as the crow flies west from Shanghai to Jerusalem is 4927.2
miles which would be consistent with "about 5000 miles" by the Silk
Road.

While wonderfully hungry in the Holy Spirit, Who causes (Deuteronomy

No it doesn't. The Bible doesn't identify what land the
Wise Guys lived in, or how far they traveled.

Actually it is as described.

Matthew only describes that an unknown number of wise guys
traveled from somewhere east of Jerusalem, and that they
arrived in Jerusalem approximately two years after Jesus'
birth. It doesn't say a thing about how far east they
were from, or how far they traveled, or how much time
they spent traveling. The leading opinion is that the
wise guys were from northern Iraq or Iran, and their
journey was more like 1,000 miles than 5,000 miles. It
might have only been half of that. No one knows, the Bible
doesn't say, and anyone who says the wise guys came 5,000
miles form China is just guessing. Which is OK, just don't
present guesses as facts.

The number of Magi is irrelevant here as is their gender.

Moreover, Matthew not knowing their gender is consistent with their
being very unlike the Persians (i.e. from northern Iraq or Iran) whom
the Jews would have been able to recognize so as to also recognize
their gender.

"The Magi are Chinese." -- Holy Spirit (referring Matthew 2:16)

Taking your continued interest here to mean "yes, you have a healthy
appetite," I share with you, JW, that it's really Wonderful (Isaiah
9:6) knowing through our hunger (Deuteronomy 8:3) that we're both
being blessed right now as it's written in the Gospels in red&white at
Luke 6:21 **and** according to pure logic (healthy=wonderful &
appetite=hunger) and advise that you try to write that you're
"wonderfully hungry" since we've established here that you are:

So now how are you ?

Why did they stop at that particular house? Oh,
that's right, because a ball of hot gas more than
300,000 times the mass of the Earth, commonly
called a star, stopped right over it.

MAT.2:9 - When they had heard the king, they departed; and,
lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them,
till it came and stood over where the young child was.

It is written that angels can (Matthew 19:26) take the form of stars.

"The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in My right hand and of
the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of
the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches."
(Revelation 1:20)

While astronomical stars can't stand at a physical location such as
"over where the young child was," (Matt 2:9) it is written in the
Bible that an angel stood "at the right side of the altar of incense."
(Luke 1:11)

"Then an angel of the LORD appeared to him, **standing** at the right
side of the altar of incense." (Luke 1:11)

KJV translates the word for them as "wise men". Matthew doesn't
present a physical description or a cultural description that would
lead to the conclusions you present about them.

Do what I do in times of uncertainty...watch "keeping Up With the Kardashians".

Clearly a mistranslation because the context of asking old King Herod
of Israel the whereabouts of the new King of Israel was not wise.

Matthew used the genderless word Magi in reference to them. This does
mean that he did not know either their gender or their ethnicity. This
lack of knowledge would be consistent with the Magi being Chinese.

Actually, the point being made here is that just as "no one can say
'Jesus is LORD' except by the Holy Spirit" (1 Corinthians 12:3), no
one can say they are 'wonderfully hungry' except by the Holy Spirit.

While wonderfully hungry ( http://bit.ly/Philippians4_12 ) in the Holy
Spirit, Who causes (Deuteronomy 8:3) me to hunger right now (Luke
6:21a), I pray (2 Chronicles 7:14) that GOD changes your heart

truth (John 14:6), Who is LORD Jesus Christ of Nazareth -->

The Bible doesn't identify the number of Wise Guys, or how
long between the birth and the giving of the gifts. The
whole story was bullshit contrived by Matthew to check off a
"prophecy" given in Isaiah, and the fit is loose indeed:

ISA.60:3 - And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and
kings to the brightness of thy rising.

ISA.60:4 - Lift up thine eyes round about, and see, all they
gather themselves together, they come to thee, thy sons
shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at
thy side.

ISA.60:5 - Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine
heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of
the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the
Gentiles shall come unto thee.

ISA.60:6 - The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the
dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall
come, they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew
forth the praises of the LORD.

The number of Magi is irrelevant here as is their gender, while 2
years "between the birth and the giving of the gifts" is given by King
Herod's age criteria in his order to kill all the boys in the area
after being outwitted (Matthew 2:16).

<begin Holy Spirit-guided exegesis>

"When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was
furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its
vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time
he had learned from the Magi." (Matthew 2:16)

The two years was possibly (Matthew 19:26) spent on the Silk Road
which is known to have been in use to carry silk from China to Rome at
the time:

https://www.britannica.com/topic/Silk-Road-trade-route

Distance as the crow flies west from Shanghai to Jerusalem is 4927.2
miles which would be consistent with "about 5000 miles" by the Silk
Road.

Source:
https://www.freemaptools.com/how-far-is-it-between-jerusalem_-israel-and-shanghai_-china.htm

<end exegesis>

Moreover, Matthew not knowing their gender is consistent with their
being very unlike the Persians (i.e. from northern Iraq or Iran) whom
the Jews would have been able to recognize so as to also recognize
their gender.

"The Magi are Chinese." -- Holy Spirit (referring to Matthew 2:16)

Taking your continued interest here to mean "yes, you have a healthy
appetite," I share with you, Teresita, that it's really Wonderful

both being blessed right now as it's written in the Gospels in

that you're "wonderfully hungry" since we've established here that you

Eh...in mathematics, that conundrum is known as a "conjecture"...

"Albert Einstein is reported to have asked his fellow physicist and friend Niels
Bohr, one of the founding fathers of quantum mechanics, whether he realistically
believed that 'the moon does not exist if nobody is looking at it.' To this Bohr
replied that however hard he (Einstein) may try, he would not be able to prove
that it does, thus giving the entire riddle the status of a kind of infallible
conjecture—one that cannot be either proved or disproved.

Could it be the "Wise Guys"...you know...the Maji...were ahead of Einstein/Bohr
by an astounding 2000 or more years.

...the mind reels!

Actually, there is no reason to either be angry about someone
blaspheming against the Holy Spirit nor pray for someone who has
consequently chosen to tragically become eternally condemned & ever
more cursed (Jeremiah 17:5) by GOD.

As for being out of the medical profession, I am called to save it.

All glory ( http://bit.ly/Psalm117_ ) to GOD for His compelling you to
unwittingly demonstrate your ever worsening cognitive condition which
is tragically a consequence of His cursing (Jeremiah 17:5) you more
than ever.

Laus DEO !

Actually, sin is **not** defined in 1 John 1:8-10

John was a Jew instead of a Greek so there is really no reason to
think that Greek grammar is relevant here.

John also wrote earlier at John 5:14 that LORD Jesus commands:

"Now stop sinning or something worse may happen to you." (John 5:14)

And, indeed, your being eternally condemned (Mark 3:29) & ever more
cursed (Jeremiah 17:5) by GOD, as evident by your ever worsening
cognitive deficits, is really worse.

Now again, here's how to really stop sinning as LORD Jesus commands

Actually, what is described in the Bible is that the Magi travelled 2
years (Matthew 2:16) from the East.

That does in fact mean they're from the very far East (i.e. China).

<begin Holy Spirit-guided exegesis>

Road.

https://www.freemaptools.com/how-far-is-it-between-jerusalem_-israel-and-shanghai_-china.htm
<end exegesis>

"The Magi are Chinese." -- Holy Spirit (referring to Matthew 2:16)

Taking your continued interest here to mean "yes, you have a healthy
appetite," I share with you, Ted, that it's really wonderful knowing
through our hunger that we're both not having a heart attack at the
moment in accordance with pure logic (healthy=wonderful &
appetite=hunger) and advise that you try to write that you're
"wonderfully hungry" since we've established here that you are:

So now how are you ?

It's no fit at all-- it refers to the second advent of Christ, not his birth.

Clearly you need to re-read Matthew 2:16 again. There is no reason to
think that King Herod would be resurrected during the second advent of
Christ to order the killing of all the boys in Bethlehem who are 2
years old and younger.

In the interim, I am simply wonderfully hungry (
http://bit.ly/Philippians4_12 ) and hope you, max, also have a healthy
appetite too.

So how are you ?

Wow. I've never seen someone misinterpret the Bible as badly as you
do, Andy.

(Mt:11) 03/23/20 Again, with a net-worth of more than US$32 billion
as evident by the ease of freely posting here on USENET 24/7/365,
praying here today ...

<begin prayer>

While wonderfully hungry ( http://bit.ly/Philippians4_12 ) in the Holy
Spirit, Who causes (Deuteronomy 8:3) me to hunger right now (Luke
6:21a), I pray (2 Chronicles 7:14) that GOD changes your heart
(Ezekiel 11:19-20 & 36:26) so that you, Klaus, would come to trust the
truth (John 14:6), Who is LORD Jesus Christ of Nazareth -->

Amen.

Applicable law governing an eternal medical license which is the fruit
(Galatians 5:22-23) of "much more" (Lk 11:13) Holy Spirit: NONE

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against
such things there is **no law**." (Galatians 5:22-23)

**emphasis** added with all glory ( http://bit.ly/Psalm117_ ) to GOD.

Laus DEO

Be hungrier, which really is wonderfully healthier especially for
diabetics and other heart disease patients:

http://bit.ly/HeartDocAndrewToutsHunger (Luke 6:21a) with all glory to
GOD, Who causes us to hunger (Deuteronomy 8:3) when He blesses us
right now (Luke 6:21a) thereby removing the http://bit.ly/HeartVAT
