Invitation to open sessions at ICMPC-ESCOM 2021 (virtual) conferece

Dear friends and colleagues,
I take great pleasure to invite you on behalf of the India hub to the 16th International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition (ICMPC) jointly organized with the 11th Triennial Conference of the European Society for the Cognitive Sciences of Music (ESCOM) from 28th — 31st July 2021. The theme of the conference is ‘Connectivity and Diversity in Music Cognition’ highlighting the inter-subjectivity, individual difference, cross-cultural variation, and neurological as well as mind-body-environment connectivity.
Researchers from various Institutes from India and other countries such as Azerbaijan, UAE, Singapore will be presenting from the India hub platform. Attached is India hub program schedule covering the broad theme, viz, Music Perception, Music Education, Music Neuroscience, Music-EEG research, Rhythm, and Memory, Music Early-years-developmental Perspective, Music and Language, Music and Health, Music Listening-during COVID-19, Neural Processing and Individual Differences, Cross-cultural Research to name a few.
As part of our commitment to open access and public dissemination of Psychology of Music research, a number of sessions will be open access, streamed live through the conference YouTube channel, including the one from India hub by Professor Aniruddh Patel, Department of Psychology, Tufts University, USA. (https://as.tufts.edu/psychology/people/faculty/aniruddh-d-patel). In addition, the symposium and three other keynotes will also be streamed live with open access, see attached for reference.
