of hypocrisy here. Committing the same acts that he has condemned in
others for so long. If the information regarding Jigsaw is in any way
accurate, it is the most disgusting display EVER by Desmond, since it
could be a life-threatening disclosure. And he knows that quite well.
It is worse than ANY disclosure that I have witnessed here... BY FAR...
since the implications are much larger, given the profession that jigsaw

The thing is, I feel that if ANYONE has a absolutely valid reason for
maintaining anonymity here, it was jigsaw. His past profession is
one that if I had come from, and posted here, under NO conditions
would I reveal it to ANYONE, yet he has revealed it to a few.
But this public disclosure, if true, disturbs me more than if my own
identity were disclosed, since I do so simply because I don't wish
to form attachments with anyone, I wish to be absolutely impartial
connected with any other poster, even though my agenda might mesh
in certain areas, and over time I have come to realize that it is better
to remain anonymous. During my first year here, I often thought
I would simply provide my full name, and not worry about it, but I
no longer feel that way, and could not conceive of providing it any
longer under ANY circumstances to any poster in this group.

I've made my feelings quite clear regarding Jiggy's "outing".
I don't believe that you'd have anything to lose by being "known" to others here
but it is entirely your business that you keep your identity hidden. When I was
posting anonymously, I was doing so for a bit of a wheeze. People have tried to
harm me as a result of knowing who I am but, let's face it, those attempts have
been nothing more than inept and could cost those who have done so more than just
a little bit of credibility.
That being said, I feel that I could expect a slap-up barbecue and a few beers
were I to pay Jiggy a visit (and I'm working on it - I may appear in the USA
within the next few months) and I would expect nothing less from your good self.
This is a forum that is essentially social. Live with it. You don't have to be
an active participant in that aspect of it but it's just one of those things...
