Anti-evolution is in a doldrums. The primary scam turned into a bogus
bait and switch scam that the creationists had to run on their own
creationist support base. You can't make this junk up. The only guys
still supporting the intelligent design scam are the ignorant,
incompetent and or dishonest. The dishonest have already bent over
and taken the switch scam. A scam that doesn't even mention that ID
nor creationism have ever existed. Really, things are that bad.
Anyone that doesn't think so, just get your local school board to try
to teach the wonderful science of intelligent design and watch how
fast the switch scam comes in. Look into who is running the switch
scam and you can't deny that they are the same guys that lied to you
about intelligent design. Not only that, but the ID scam was so lame
that the ID perps began running the bait and switch scam on any
creationist rube that believed them years before they lost in court.

So, here we are with nothing much to discuss.

So these are the basketcases that just can't let the issue die. I put
up this list so any interested party can look up the product of the
anti-evolution movement. These are the supporters of something that
in this day and age should have no support. If there is something to
the Biblical observation these are the fruit of the anti-evolution
movement. I only looked through threads for the last couple of weeks.

Past thread: So you can look up past lists and demonstrate for
yourself that this isn't some blip in the social order, but how it has
been for a very long time. There are links to previous lists.

Nando is still free, unless he is posting from confinement.
http://groups.google.com/group/talk.origins/msg/53ba2e06021d1c56?hl=en

Kalkidas still hasn't figured out what a real argument consists of.

Glenn was out on the disabled list for a while, but he is healthy
enough to return.
http://groups.google.com/group/talk.origins/msg/8dc4aeb64e46895f?hl=en

Pagano is as vacuous as ever. Pagano is the poster child for the
rubes that were taken in by the intelligent design scam. He can't
tell anyone what the science was that he was going to teach to all the
school kids, but he can't let the scam go even when the guys that sold
him the scam have moved on to a stupid obfuscation scam that no longer
mentions that ID ever existed. He seems to also be the only
geocentrist posting to TO. One day a flat earth creationist may start
posting, but for now all we have is Pags to mark how low the bar can
go.
http://groups.google.com/group/talk.origins/msg/6696abe7ea538068?hl=en

Ray claims to be the only true Christian posting to TO. I guess we
can all be thankful that he is the only one. He also claims to be the
only true creationist posting.

Backspace is so out to lunch that he thinks that he can redefine
reality to make his views legit. You really can't make this junk up.

Where has NashTon gone?

PastorD not only posts and runs, but has google delete his posts.
Beats me what this does because the post is still visible in any
responses.

If you do not want your lame junk to be preserved in the archives,
just stop posting.

We have some new guys and occasional posters, but they haven't
generated the posting volume that adman was known for. It is sad, but
people are actually reduced to responding to Pagano posts because
there is so little effort on the anti-evolution side of this issue.

On the contrary, sir. Anti-evolution is on a triumphant role! You are
so naive as to think that, since the science is on their side, the
evolutionists are winning. Science is OK, and perhaps should even be
taught in science classes. But you need to teach religion in science
classes too, or else only geeks will pay attention.

Delusion is rampant among the anti-evolution posters.

Nym shifting is about the only reason that anyone has been banned from
posting to this group. It is a stupid thing to do, but this bonehead
probably couldn't stop himself from doing such a stupid thing.

Himself, is a good addition to the other fruit of the anti-evolution
posters. Really, no one could make this junk up because if you tried
to write it up as a novel the editor would throw it back in your lap
and tell you to make it more believable. The anti-evolution brigade
really is this pathetic.

As you know, that sorry group of kooks and trolls represents < 1
millionth of US population (& some might be from outside US). Even if
you add the interesting TO regular evolution-deniers of the past
(Sean, Zoe, plus those before my time) it's still on the order of 1
millionth. A tiny fringe group by any measure.

The problem is that the scam artists, themselves << 1% of the
population, have still managed to maintain* ~75% of the population to
doubt evolution, or at least mainstream science's desire to have it
taught properly. Now ~1/3 of that ~75% would think that way with or
without the scam artists (i.e. would not accept evolution under any
circumstances). These kooks and trolls are a tiny extreme of that
group, if not scam artists themselves, or Loki trolls. So despite the
degeneration of TO and similar sites devoted to the "controversy
" (e.g. Panda's Thumb) the scam is alive and well.

You can try this for real, or just as a "thought experiment.": Stop a
few people on the street - far from the Bible Belt if possible - who
look like they had a decent education in biology, but are at least a
decade past high school. Ask them what they know about evolution,
creationism, ID, and the replacement scam that pretends that ID (&
creationism) never existed. See what you get.

*They have plenty of help from a sensationalist media, and a culture
that is suspicious of science and scientists, so it could be argued
that the scam artists' job is mostly done for them.

They certainly have no significant opposition. Evolutionism is
dragging down all science because the evolutionists have no ability to
frame their ideas in a way that most people will heed.

You're assuming that all non-geeks are stupid. A little reflection
should have been enough to demonstrate the fallicy of that assumption.
How can you ever think clearly while you clog your mind with such

science education has nothing to do with evolution or darwin's theory.
those are true regardless of how people think about them. people in

That is sure an odd notion. Inserting religion into classes makes
students more interested? Why would that be? And is there any reason
it would especially apply to science? Would it also make kids pay
more attention in wood shop?

They don't make kids take wood shop anymore. It is still an elective
if the districts have the money to support it. I've heard that the
nuns at the Catholic schools could put the fear of God into the
students with the aid of a stick (without the carrot), and it kept
some of them more focused. The sad thing is that the current crop of
ID perps and their dishonest minions likely wouldn't want
institutionalized religion because then there would be an effort to
make it more honest (just think of the diversity and whose religion is
going to be institutionalized along with the ones that don't have a
religion). They lack the control in most places to keep lying to the
students like they do at some of their conservative private schools,
so what do they plan to do? The last thing that they want is honest
discussion among the students. ID proved that if it demonstrated
anything.

The DI accepts microevolution, CD, and human evolution. The Fundies
accept microevolution. And Ron Okimoto the "Christian" accepts
evolution, CD and human evolution (like all Atheists).

Why is Ron slamming his own while siding with Atheists?

Ron is, of course, confused and deluded. I am relieved to be rejected
by the likes of Ron Okimoto.

Because the evidence says that evolution happened or god faked the
evidence. Not wanting to worship a trickster god, the god of Gene
Scott and other frauds, he goes with the evidence. I'm so happy that
you admit that all that matters to you is which side you are on. The
evidence provided by nature means nothing to you.

Deny the evidence all you wish. It is still there.

Yeah, sure it is. If you want any "scientific evidence" to be taken
seriously we apparently need to make a church and start preaching. I'm
calling dibs on the "In the beginning" chapter.

As does anyone who views the evidence.

Because the evidence for it is too strong to deny.

Not all atheists do accept evolution, while most do. But as you
indicate above, many religious persons do as well.

He's not. He's siding with those who accept what the evidence says.

again, Ray resorts to name calling when losing an argument.
