Declares he has a cardiology practice despite posting night and day from
the same IP address (his home presumably) or a coffee shop internet cafe
Makes further false prophecies that we should now be all dying in a bird
flu pandemic. When these fail to happen, he does them all over again and
changes the dates. Nuclear war is another Chung spciality, which
naturally doesn't happen when he says it is going to.
Worships evil hatemonger Fred Phelps and will not denounce the acts of
Westboro's congregation. He even accuses someone with the name Phelps of
being Fred's son and refuses to accept he is completely wrong.
Uses the same patter as Pat Robertson, indicating his religious activity
is confined to watching cable TV. No evidence Chung has ever attended a
church.
Has a tendency to cyberstalk, particularly women. His wife fled some
time ago to another state, an act which Chung tries to pass off as "being
on vacation".
Frequently passes himself off as being qualified in areas such as
endocrinology, despite making incredibly fundamental blunders in his
'advice'. It is no wonder the Florida heart facility terminated him, and
has publicly denounced his version of events. Again archived on Google.
Don't forget the fake fast, where he didn't lose any weight, as well as
the infamous 666 stamping fiasco. His latest vile trick is spamming the
blogs of dying cancer patients and then crowing triumphantly when they
pass away.

An angelic messenger from God again brought death to many people throughout

God gave David a choice of three punishments. He told David to choose one of

I am subject to a man, or men." Fortunately, as I look back on my ministry,
God never put me in the position where I had to lick shoe leather. I feel
sorry today for some men in the ministry who have to go around licking shoe
leather in order to continue. God have mercy on them! David did not want to
be subject to man. He was willing to fall into the hands of God because he
knew how to trust God. How wonderful it is when you see David doing this.
The Lord decided to send a pestilence upon Israel. David knew he would be
all right in the hands of God. This is the way you and I should feel when
God punishes us.
My friend, those whom the Lord loves, He disciplines. From experience I can
tell you that there is a tenderness in His discipline, there is a comfort in
it all, and there is a blessing in it. He alone can wipe away the tears. He
alone can bind up the broken-hearted. He alone can heal the wounds that are
in the heart. The doctor can sew you up when you have been in an accident,
but in great emotional accidents only the Lord Jesus can bind you up and put
you together again. How we need Him today in our lives!

For the second time in this chapter, David is given another statistic.
Hearing that 70,000 people died from the plague, he fell before the Lord and
said, "Lord, I have sinned. But what have these people done? I have erred.
Why are they bearing the brunt of my punishment?"
Dad, when you take your eyes off the Lord, your family will feel the shock
waves and bear the brunt of your sin. Student, when you sin, the kids who
are watching you will be hurt. Take heed. When one sins, many are affected.

Peter warns against dishonesty, lest little thefts lead to prosecution. What
an embarrassment for someone who claims that God will supply all needs to be
caught stealing. Don't take what isn't yours. Trust God for what you need.

there is an aprils fools joke on someone, one is left wondering on whom
it is so. God and a totaly non-religious day is a forced connection.
As discovered, a pope most likely was the cause for the day's origin
related to a calendar change. So evoking the day is not of God and
proof of anything but of support for a pope. On whom it is the joke is
now clearer. Tens of thousands of people with whom the author would
find great agreement also died that day. More clarity on whom the joke
is now. Is it a case of a fool unawares being the fool?

The RFC connection is years old - I've been on RFC on and off since '94 or
so, and knew of the Chunginator spamming there well before he came to the
general attention of AUK.
Xpoasts to the cardiology ng from there are item #1 in my RFC killfile ;)
and the regulars are helpful to people who wish to figure out how to
eliminate the spew via their newsreader (and also regularly whack on

This web site is designed to spread the vicious truth about the Bible. For
far too long priests and preachers have completely ignored the vicious
criminal acts that the Bible promotes. The so called “God” of the Bible

It always amazes me how many times this God orders the killing of
innocent people even after the Ten Commandments said “Thou shall not kill”.
For example, God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census
of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60
cities so that the Israelites can live there. He orders the killing of all
the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value
(Deuteronomy 3). He orders another attack and the killing of “all the
living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen
sheep, and asses” (Joshua 6). In Judges 21, He orders the murder of all the
people of Jabesh-gilead, except for the virgin girls who were taken to be
forcibly raped and married. When they wanted more virgins, God told them to
hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked, kidnap her and
forcibly rape her and make her your wife! Just about every other page in
the Old Testament has God killing somebody! In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders
the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own
church! In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another
1,862,265 people murdered.
The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own
daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and
Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms
137:9).
This type of criminal behavior should shock any moral person. Murder,
rape, pillage, plunder, slavery, and child abuse can not be justified by
saying that some god says it’s OK. If more people would actually sit down
and read the Bible there would be a lot more atheists like myself.
Jesus also promoted the idea that all men should castrate themselves to
go to heaven: "For there are eunuchs, that were so born from their mother's
womb: and there are eunuchs, that were made eunuchs by men: and there are
eunuchs, that made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He
that is able to receive it, let him receive it." (Matthew 19:12 ASV) I
don't know why anyone would follow the teachings of someone who literally
tells all men to cut off their privates.
The God of the Bible also was a big fan of ritual human sacrifice and
animal sacrifice.
And just in case you are thinking that the evil and immoral laws of the
Old Testament are no longer in effect, perhaps you should read where Jesus
makes it perfectly clear: "It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away
than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid."

I know that most Christians believe that God is a good and loving god,
and wants people to do good things. I believe that most people want to do
good things and behave morally. I also believe that many Christians haven’t
really read the Bible, or just read certain passages in church. This is
understandable, as the Bible is hard to read due to its archaic language and
obscure references. Also many priests and preachers don’t like to read
certain passages in the Bible because they present a message of hate not
love.

Vicar jailed for child sex abuse
A parish priest has been jailed for five-and-a-half years for sexually
abusing six boys over a 30-year period.
The Rev David Smith, of St John's Road, Clevedon, groomed and molested
his young victims during sleep-overs at the vicarage and holidays abroad.
Smith, 52, vicar of St John the Evangelist in Clevedon, North
Somerset, had denied all 12 charges.
Bristol Crown Court heard concerns about the vicar had been raised
with the Church of England on two occasions.
Unanimous verdict
The two-week trial heard two complainants expressed their concerns to
the Church, first in 1983 and again in 2001.
They were assured that the matter had been "dealt with", but Smith
continued to abuse boys in his parish.
He claimed all the offences were a "figment of someone's imagination".
The jury of eight women and four men took two hours to find him guilty
of 10 charges of indecent assault, one sexual assault of a child under 13
and one of sexual activities with a child under 16.
The attacks happened between 1976 and 2005 and involved six boys under
the age of 16.
Smith closed his eyes as the jury foreman read out the guilty verdicts
on all the charges.
Sentencing him the judge said: "You were a father figure and a mentor
to these boys. One felt largely humiliated by the experience, you added to
their distress."
'Shocked and horrified'
In a statement the Bishop of Bath and Wells, the Right Reverend Peter
Price, said:
"The Reverend David Smith has been found guilty of a number of very
serious charges. We are shocked and horrified that he has fallen so far
short of the very high standards expected of priests in the Church of
England," he said.
"We apologise sincerely to David Smith's victims, their families, the
parish and all involved in this case. We're very sorry that these offences
were committed by a man in a position of trust.
"We've taken all necessary steps to do all in our power to ensure
there is no repetition of this situation."
In April in a separate case the Church of England was called "totally
irresponsible" for failing to tell police about an ex-choirmaster who
sexually abused children.
Peter Halliday, 61, from Farnborough, Hampshire, was jailed for 30
months after admitting sex offences from the 1980s.
But the BBC learned he had admitted the abuse 17 years ago, but left
the Church quietly on condition he had no further contact with children.

Don't judge God or your faith on mere men, as we ALL
are fallable, since the Fall of Adam and Eve in the garden.
THE EFFECTS OF THE FALL
We do not know how long it was before Adam exercised his will contrary to the
will of God, thus breaking, immediately and completely, the fellowship which
had existed between Adam and God. Sin severed the creature from fellowship
with the Creator! And the effects of Adam's sin are far-reaching. In the first
chapter of the book of Romans, the Apostle Paul shows the effects of Adam's
sin. First of all, the apostle shows that the intellect of man was darkened by
the fall, so that man in his intellect could not know God. Romans 1:19-20
states, "That which may be known of God is manifest in them [that is, among
them]; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him [that
is, about God] from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being
understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so
that they are without excuse." From these verses we learn that creation is a
revelation of the wisdom of God, and that nature is an open book in which all
men may see two things: God's eternal power, and His Godhood or deity. But
even though men were able, through that revelation, to know something of God,
how did they respond? "When they knew God, they glorified him not as God,
neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations [that is, their
thought processes], and their foolish heart [that is, their seat of
perception], was darkened" (Rom. 1:21). In Ephesians 4:17 the same truth is
affirmed: "This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth
walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity [or, emptiness] of their mind,
having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God
through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their
heart." There, the apostle affirms again what he taught in Romans 1, that the
heart of the natural man is darkened because of sin. The apostle did not say
that the mind is blindfolded, but rather, blinded. If one has been
blindfolded, all he needs to do is to remove the blindfold and he will see.
But Paul says that men have been blinded by sin. They no longer have the
capacity to see. The first great result then of Adam's sin is that man's
intellect was darkened.
Not only was man's intellect darkened but his emotional capacity was degraded.
"God . gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to
dishonour their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God
into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who
is blessed for ever, Amen. For this cause, God gave them up to vile
affections" (Rom. 1:24-26a). In Ephesians 4:19 we read: "Who being past
feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all
uncleanness with greediness." It is not that man lost his emotional capacity,
but his emotional capacity was so perverted and prostituted that it cannot be
directed Godward. Thus the natural man cannot experience fellowship between
his heart and the heart of God.
Romans 1 closes by showing us another result of Adam's fall: the will of man
was deadened Godward. In verse 32 we learn that men, "knowing the judgment of
God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the
same [notice it, do the same], but have pleasure in them that do them." In
Romans 7:18 Paul says, "I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no
good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is
good I find not." Natural man is marked by the deadness of his will toward
God. In Romans 8:7, the apostle says, "The carnal mind is enmity against God:
for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." In Galatians
5:17 the apostle again adds his testimony, "The flesh lusteth against the
Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to
the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would." When you put these
passages together, you find that Paul consistently teaches that while a man
still has a will, and can choose, his will is a will that is enslaved to sin,
a will that cannot and will not exercise itself Godward, a will that wills
only that which is iniquitous.
Because of the fall of Adam, man has been brought under judgment and under a
curse, but he still continues to be a man. He did not lose his personality; he
has not been degraded to the level of an animal. But it is impossible for man
to exercise his God-given capacities Godward. The unsaved man has an
intellect, but it has been darkened and he cannot know God; he has an
emotional capacity, but it has been degraded, and he cannot love God; he has a
will that has been deadened toward God and he cannot and will not obey God.
Even though God created us for fellowship with Himself, so that He might be
glorified through our fellowship with Him, that purpose is unattainable in the
natural man. Man still bears the image of God and possesses the component
parts of personality, yet he has been so bound and enslaved that he cannot
exercise these parts of His personality Godward to the glory of God.

The Beatitudes were NOT for everyone, but Jesus was speaking to His
believers
Luke 6:21 and its parallel Matthew 5:6 have nothing to do with physical
hunger, or lack of eating food.
We're NOT talking about eating food here.
Beatitudes. (Lat. beatitudo). Condition or statement of blessedness. In the
Latin of the Vulgate, beatus, the word for blessed, happy, or fortunate,
begins certain verses such as Psalm 1:1: "Blessed is the man who does not
walk in the counsel of the wicked."[1]
Hunger.
Jesus explicitly warns against the displacement of the spiritual appetite
by literal food, drink and worldly cares: "Be careful, or your hearts will
be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life,
and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap" (Lk 21:34 NIV;
emphasis added).[2]

6:21 "Blessed are you who hunger now." Once again this does not mean the
vast hordes of humanity who are suffering from malnutrition. Rather it
refers to disciples of Jesus Christ who deliberately adopt a life of
self-denial in order to help alleviate human need, both spiritual and
physical. It is people who are willing to get along on a plain, inexpensive
diet rather than deprive others of the gospel by their indulgence. All such
self-denial will be rewarded in a future day.
"Blessed are you who weep now." Not that sorrow is in itself a blessing;
the weeping of unsaved people has no lasting benefit connected with it.
Here Jesus is speaking about tears that are shed for His sake. Tears for
lost, perishing mankind. Tears over the divided, impotent state of the
church. All sorrow endured in serving the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who sow
in tears will reap in joy.

6:21 Following Jesus as His disciple also involved feeling hungry
occasionally. However, Jesus promised ultimate satisfaction to those who
chose discipleship. To those less fortunate, discipleship then and now
sometimes involved and involves giving away some money that one might use
for food. Sometimes seminary students have to live on meager rations to pay
other bills associated with their commitment to study God's Word and serve
Him.
Likewise discipleship involves weeping and sorrow, but laughter will come
eventually. Kingdom conditions are again in view. In one sense a disciple
is to rejoice always (1 Thess. 5:18). However in another sense the sin that
surrounds us and the hardness of the hearts of people with whom we share
the gospel are constant sources of sorrow.

Verses 20-22 speak about the poor, hungry and weak, who are hated,
reproached, considered outcasts, and called evil. All you have to do is
look back into the Old Testament to see that this is true. It is true
today. The man who preaches the Word of God is going to have a rough time.
If he does not have a rough time, something is wrong. The false prophets
were (and are) rich and had plenty to eat. They could laugh and were
considered good fellows. God has something to say to them.[7]

5:6 hunger and thirst for righteousness. This is the opposite of the self-
righteousness of the Pharisees. It speaks of those who seek God's
righteousness rather than attempting to establish a righteousness of their
own (Rom. 10:3; Phil. 3:9). What they seek will fill them, i.e., it will
satisfy their hunger and thirst for a right relationship with God.[9]
5:6 Next, a blessing is pronounced on those who hunger and thirst for
righteousness: they are promised satisfaction. These people have a passion
for righteousness in their own lives; they long to see honesty, integrity,
and justice in society; they look for practical holiness in the church.
Like the people of whom Gamaliel Bradford wrote, they have "a thirst no
earthly stream can satisfy, a hunger that must feed on Christ or die."
These people will be abundantly satisfied in Christ's coming kingdom: they
shall be filled, for righteousness will reign and corruption will give way

The fact that believers were to be like "light" (5:14-16) emphasized the
aspect of visibility. As light attracts people and dispels darkness, so
believers were to illumine the way to Jesus the Messiah, the true source of
light. The doing of good works was a form of that light. Good works would
inspire others to believe in and glorify God. Putting light "on a stand"
and letting "shine for all" (5:15) looked ahead to the final commission to

quotation with the words "to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord"
because what follows, "the day of vengeance of our God," will not be

Zion, granting to them a garland in place of ashes on their heads, the oil
of joy instead of mourning, praise instead of a spirit of heaviness. His
chosen people will then be called trees of righteousness, planted by the
Lord, and bringing glory to Him. They will rebuild the cities of the

There would be no crops to harvest right away. They would have to make a
fresh start by planting their crops and waiting for harvest time. It would
be a period of austerity, of doling out the meager food supplies as

that first crop. Here is a farmer whose barrel of grain is low. He can use
the grain to feed his family now or he can sow most of it in hope of an
abundant supply in days to come. He decides to sow it, but as he dips his
hand into his apron and scatters the seed over the plowed land, his tears
fall into the apron. He is thinking of his wife and children, of the skimpy
bowls of porridge, of how sacrificially they will have to live in the days
till harvest. He feels as if he is taking food out of their mouths

all of Him who came in humility and sowed His precious seed with tears, our

ourselves also. So let us weep and scatter the seed! 'Let us not be weary
in well-doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not' (Gal.

Intro: The Roman Emperor Charlemagne asked to be buried sitting on his
throne, with his drown on his head, his scepter in his hand and the royal
cape draped around him with the open Bible in his lap with his finger
pointing to Matthew 16:26 - "What good will it be for a man if he gains the
whole world, yet forfeits his soul?"
I. It seems that Charlemagne's request was a statement about his values
system. Even in death, it appears he had a need for the esteem of others.
We all have a value system.
A. A Value system is defined as a collection of principles and standards
that form our behavior and guide our decision-making. B. Individuals and
corporations have a value system that governs the way the live or do
business. We either seek peace and harmony or uproar and chaos.
Corporations either emphasize ethical conduct and caring or get the job
done at any cost. C. In this passage from the gospel of Luke, Jesus lays
out the value system he expects his followers to adopt. He is not
pronouncing a blessing on poverty, hunger or weeping. Nor is he placing a
curse on riches, abundance, laughter and social acceptance.
II. Verse is 24 - "Woe to you who are rich because you have all the comfort
you are going to get." This is the key that unlocks a true interpretation
of the entire passage.
A. Jesus saw how wealth could encase people in a hard shell of their
seeming self-sufficiency. - remember the story of the rich young ruler who
came to Jesus at night asking what he had to do to inherit the kingdom of
God? He went away sorrowful because he couldn't give it all away. B. When
wealth changes people's value system until they are no longer eager for the
gifts of God because they think they already have everything worth
desiring, they will not find a blessing from God. The rich are apt to be so
preoccupied with their possessions they fail to respond to God's
invitation. C. William James wrote - "The desire to gain wealth and the
fear to lose it are our chief breeders of cowardice and propagators of
corruption." The rich are shortsighted and are lulled into a false security
when they think their present abundance ensures their future comfort.
III. The blessings of the poor neither idealizes nor glorifies poverty. It
declares God's prejudicial commitment to the poor.
A. The qualities of the poor which can make life deserve enrichment:
simplicity of heart, the capacity to find happiness in oneself and in the
love of people rather than the luxury of things. B. The poor are those
whose desperate need and whose inability to help themselves have driven
them to turn to God for their hope. We may not be poor; but God calls you
and I to a reordering of the priorities we have set for our lives. C. Ask
yourself this question, "Is what I'm doing with my life right now drawing
me closer to God or keeping me from enjoying Him?
Conclusion:
When the standards of the world guide you, you will have great woe. But
when you let God determine who you are, you will be greatly blessed. When
you let your looks, your poverty, your hunger, your sadness, and your lack
of popularity be the final word about the meaning and significance of your
life, you will be in hopelessness and despair. But when you let the kingdom
of God have the final word about the meaning and significance of your life,
you will have true joy and know without a doubt that you are blessed by
God.

Assuming there is a god who judges you after death, you claim to get a free
