http://groups.google.com/group/sci.med.cardiology/msg/188fd2ec63b3ba63?
Dear Dr. Chung,
Would a painful hard callusy-blister type thing on one foot (under
large left toe in the area closest to the foot) that does not heal
possibly be any clue to heart abnormalities? I have had one there now
for about five months. Also about a week ago I developed a painless
hard but blistery type thing on TOP of my left foot below the toe next
to the big one.
I have been told I am non-diabetic. The large under toe thing makes it
painful to walk sometimes.
I have had my feet "freeze" (they felt like they fell asleep all of a
sudden) in the up posistion and stumbled in public a couple of times.
It was quite embarrassing. That was about 3 months before the callus
formed. I told my doctor about it and he did not know what it could
signify.
Thank you. Take care.
Would suspect that you are possibly developing some peripheral
neuropathy, which can be associated with slow-to-heal foot ulcers.
This can happen even when there is no frank type-2 diabetes because we
now understand that the pro-inflammatory adipocytokines from visceral
adipose tissue (VAT), which happens with overeating, has pleiotropic
effects including peripheral neurotoxicity.
>Thank you.
Laus Deo :-)

The LORD takes care of us when we are mindful of WDJW.

Yes, he lost his medical license when it was deemed that he was unfit
to practice medicine.
Thus, an active medical license to practice does mean a person has
been deemed fit to practice medicine just as an active driver's
license means a person has been deemed fit to drive a motor vehicle.

Or it means the wheels of regulation grind slowly in his state and/or
his situation has not been brought to their attention sufficiently
and/or they know and choose to ignore given the low or no level of
direct practice and/or want to avoid public awareness of the situation
given the alarm it might raise . It is hard to know how this might be
unless they aren't aware of his posting history which is sufficient unto
itself to open enquiries.
Interesting the remainder of the original is not mentioned. Does it
mean it is accurate?
Actually, when he became unfit to practice medicine AND that condition
came to the attention of the relevant authorities.
Lacking one of the two predicates, a physician may continue to
possess an active license even if he should not.

And as renewal is required only every so-many years, a person
could have gone completely blind and insane both, and still
hold a valid license to drive years after he should not be
allowed to do so.

True. Chung lies about having an active practice. This is not
verifiable and he has no hospital privileges anywhere. Chung lies
about having sold the domain name emorycardiology.com for 1 million
dollars. Chung lies about having had thousands of people successfully
lose weight on his 2PD diet. Chung lies about the origin of his 2PD
Approach.
He has had
> no verifiable employment and no hospital

True. Chung was fired from his Ocala, Florida position for being out
of step with the other cardiologists there. He did not perform
satisfactorily and was asked to leave.
>He is not a reliable source
> of medical information.
True. Chung lives in his own twisted world. He twists bible passages
and repetitively chants them. He doesn't practice medicine up to
minimal medical standards and is unable to discuss medical treatments
or theories without resorting to calling others "Satan" or "convicted"
when they question him or ask him to explain.
He is not Board Certified in Internal Medicine
> and when his Board Certification in Cardiology expires in 2010, he
> will not be able to recertify due to his lack of patient encounters.
True and easily verifiable.
Chung calls me Satan or states that I am a sockpuppet of satan and
that all I say is a lie. Any *discerning* person can verify for him or
herself that what I've said is true and it is Chung who is dishonest.
Watch him try to deflect this criticism with some meaningless drivel
about the Holy Spirit or doing what Jesus wants.
Back to your attempt to compare Dr. Kevorkian's passion for euthanasia

The GA Medical Board has been aware of my personal choice to be openly
Christian for years.
They simply disagree with you and other non-christians that being
openly Christian makes a physician unfit to practice medicine. Their
being largely Christian may have something to do with that opinion.
On the other hand, the U.S. being one nation under LORD Almighty GOD
is possibly a greater factor.

those who have GOD's help to publicly say "Jesus is LORD" as you have

Then they don't disagree with me at all, because I hold no
such opinion, no matter your desire to wrap yourself in
the victim's mantle of those persecuted for their faith.
I do wonder, however, if they would concur with my opinion
of a physician who holds that every adult should be eating
exactly two pounds of food, composition unspecified; and
who is convinced that Satan Himself is communicating with
him via numerous helpless possessed Usenet posters.

Incorrect (and a dodge as usual)
No one has said that you are not currently a licensed physician. It's
not libel if it's a true statement. The truth is that you are unfit to
