the netherlands from hilversom is one of the strongest on sw radio, you
do not need to go on the internet for it, and they broadcast frequently
in English.

I read a report recently that indicated that most or all of the PNG stations
that are currently on SW will be leaving the air by 2015.

Like anything else, that may or not be the actual case. But, I would certainly
try to hear those that are left before they are gone.

I currently have 'at least' 20 of the PNG stations QSL'd (veried, for those in
Glendale).

3385 Radio East New Britain (NASWA country: New Britain)

Those were the names used some time back, though they may have changed.

Then you must have heard Japan with a much stronger signal on 75 meters.

Telamon - For Me - That would have been Radio Nikkei on 3925 kHz at
S-9 +20 dB with Very Good Audio {Music}.

FWIW - WWV on 2500 kHz and 5000 kHz were only
at S9 with Good Audio.

Radio Nikkie is usually an Easy Late Night / Earily Morning
Listen for me here in Twain Harte, CA.

Yeah, the music was good and unusual for a domestic Japanese station. I
had them at S9 and that was better than WWV on 2.5MHz as you said but
WWV on 5MHz was much stronger for me.
