  Dear Matthew, &lt;br&gt; I would be very surprised if there isn&#39;t some language in the contract that exempts your _existing_ other clients from the restrictions of the non-compete clause. &lt;br&gt; There is no such clause. I just double-checked, as I have archived the contract.  &lt;br&gt; I told them the contract in its current state was unacceptable. They said that in reality, it would never get that far because they were very easygoing. I then replied that if they were so easygoing, they should change the contract. They said that was impossible.

  For some reason that I don&#39;t understand, every note I&#39;ve received from the &lt;br&gt; Honyaku list today has a txt file attachment with it. Of course I haven&#39;t &lt;br&gt; opened them, though the Norton software doesn&#39;t generate any warnings about &lt;br&gt; them. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;None of the other e-mail messages from any other source I&#39;ve received today
