Ive just about got the reloading/gun smithing/electronics shop refurb
finished up and am cleaning/painting refurbing all my reloading gear. I
mentioned before that Ive an issue with my much beloved Ohaus 10-10..and
I think its too far gone to be refurbable.

Im looking for another one. Now it can be the RCBS 10-10, the Lyman
10-10 or the Ohaus 10-10. They are all the same scale.

I would..would consider an electronic scale, but it must be able to go
up to at minimum...650 grs. Some of my bullets are that size. Shrug

Anyone have a 10-10 or perhaps a lesser scale I can buy/swap/trade for?

Suggestions on electronic scales also welcome

Don't waste money that could be used for soda and smokes. I have
exactly what you need and lots more. Free for the taking as soon as
you cull me. August, or December at the latest, right? If you keep
shopping for this everyone will figure out that the great cull is
merely one of your lesser piles of horseshit.

Nothing for sale but my older, maybe 10 year, Cabela's electronic scale
will go over 1,000 grains. I can't imagine newer having lower limits.

I suspect most of the folks in LaLa land are not using these scales to
weight bullets and powder.

Many years ago, I had an expensive electronic scale stolen from the lab
I worked in. They were very popular with the drug trade.

I suggest he goes to Midway USA and orders one from them. You can get
the 5 0 5 model for about 79 bucks and it works just fine. But then, if
you can even scare up 80 bucks you should not even be thinking about
purchases for "fun" items. Recreational shooting is a hobby and one that
poor people ought not to engage in.

I checked into it last year as I recall..or the year before. Getting
one that measures and displays in "grains" and will indicate .01 grain
tended to be a little problematic. The range as well. from. I will weigh
powder charges from about 2grs to 120 grs and of course, bullets from
about 30 grs, all the way up to 650 grs

I guess thats what Im going to have to do..is pick up a cheap electronic
to get the job done, and hunt around for a good mechanical.

One guy here is selling 9mm cast lead bullets for a dime each. Seems
fair?

Seems higher than hell.

One can buy 500 9mms for $32 (or less) online. His price is $50 per 500

http://www.dardascastbullets.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=dardas&Category_Code=9

Check the pricing on 1000 rds. About a nickle apiece.

There are others that are cheaper btw.

http://www.carrollsweb.com/gunshop/html/midstates_cast_bullets.html

http://www.friendswoodbullet.com/380,_9mm,_38_Super/cat132679_115199.aspx

etc etc

I cast my own of course. I cast 37+ (I lost count at 37 molds)
different bullets in various calibers, but unless one shoots a
lot..buying cast bullets can be cheaper. Now if you shoot a lot..buy a
Lee (bottom pour) pot, a mold, a hammer handle and a mold. The Lees come
out of the mold pretty close to the proper diameter and only need be
lubed. Which..you can do by simply sticking them in a coffee can and
rolling them around with some of the various liquid bullet lubes

If you hit the gun shows..you can set up for bullet casting by
purchasing used equipment and can set up for the first caliber for well
under $100 if you shop smart. Hell..if you own a Coleman stove, you can
cast bullets for just about the price of a mold, if you scrounge a cast
iron pot and a ladle. Ebay will often times have molds in various
prices..some good, some not so good.

This one will go for about $20
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEE-MOLD-MOULD-2-CAVITY-9-MM-w-handles-/261056927589?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cc8349765

Others...

http://www.ebay.com/sch/Hunting-/7301/i.html?_nkw=9mm+mold&_sop=15

These are handy if you want minimal equipment

http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEE-9MM-BULLET-SIZING-DIE-AND-LUBE-KIT-356-DIAMETER-/280899692693

They work well enough. Shrug

I use "Lubricator/sizers" simply because they allow me to modify bullet
diameters and whatnot

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Lyman-Ideal-No-45-Lubricator-Sizer-Press-Tool-Reloading-Parts-Lot-/120943983800

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lyman-450-Lubricator-Sizer-/271011224591

http://www.ebay.com/itm/RCBS-RAM-II-Bullet-Sizer-Lubricator-Excellent-/251100095687

I have one of each of the above set up in the shop. Shrug..one set up
for .358, one for .453, and one for .309. I had a Star
sizer/lubricator.......but I realized I wasnt shooting 35k a year
anymore, so passed it along to a younger guy who was starting
competition.

But I have dies (they all interchange in the machines above btw) from
.22 through .511..a couple dozen or so in the various calibers that I
shoot.

I suppose Ive got a grands worth or more.... of bullet casting stuff,
but paid no where near that over the 35 yrs Ive been shooting cast
bullets. And once you have bought it..and take care of it..you can pass
it along to the great grand kids

My poor scale fell off a high shelf when one of the cats got into the
reloading end of the shop. It wasnt in its normally protected storage as
I was cleaning and updating that end of the shop. Damnit!

Putting formica on the bench tops turned out to be pretty damned
expensive..though I got the formica for free. Sigh....

Nope. Dardas cast are considerably cheaper. Both Ranier and Berry plated
bullets are slightly cheaper and you might even find some traditional FMJ
for the same money.

IMHO .01gr is not practical, tenths are close enough for anything.

That's a strange request considering the implications of killing
someone based on an address posted on Usenet... unless you have the
critical thinking ability of a gnat. Your position is that you don't
believe me a credible source but your buddy Gunner's veracity is
unimpeachable right? And he said months ago that he'd forwarded my
info to the cullers. He must have it or how else could he have
forwarded it? Therefore anyone who wants the info need only ask him.
Unless he's a pathological liar egged on by flaming gasbags like you.
Why don't you ask him for some evidence of all the OTHER posters he's
implied he's had taken care of and use THAT to judge the validity of
his current horseshit? Because you already know that you and he are
merely impotent blowhards feeding each other's psychosis. I'll be here
to help you celebrate his upcoming anniversaries in August as well as
the invisible cull's wrap up at year end. YOU can prevent that
ridicule by asking him for my info and then getting off your fat ass.
Oh wait that dead in a week horseshit was only you pretending that
SOMEBODY ELSE would carry out your threats! Which is the exact same
laughable method Gunner employs. He's hoping you'll do something and
you're hoping he'll do something. But the most you windbag clowns
intend to do is keep dressing up in cheerleader outfits and wave
pompoms at your imaginary team.

For rifle.... .1 Grains is what I generally use. (keep in mind that
most scales use "Grams" as their selling points..but will change tare
mode to grains. Well..some scales do. Gotta be careful when picking the

1 gr (gram) is something like 15.43 grn (grain). Thats double the

Don't worry, even in the event of a "Cull", nobody would think you are
worth the cost of a bullet or a length of barbed wire. I do like the
fact that it upsets you so much, you are fun to poke and laugh at. Face

His address is in the "Cheese-Check" part of town, in his mom's

I thought you just fill up those soup cans ad level them off with a
butter knife, then just pound a bullet in with a hammer.

My ideal .45 charge is 3.5gr 700-X under a 200gr SWC TL. It makes nice
little cloverleafs or one ragged hole from a rest. A rather mild load
but back on point very quickly. That powder is tough to get better than
+/-.2gr and it doesn't seem to matter much at the range.

I had 22 students this weekend and 12 were ladies. I LIKE female
students, they don't have preconceived notions, listen and retain, and
usually do better in the range portions of the classes. (and the $2k is
nice for a weekend! I'm kinda' glad you pushed me.)

What an absurd backtrack. Your idiot buddy has written perhaps a dozen
descriptions of HOW the cull will be taking me out and claiming to
have the info needed to do it. And you just finished saying that if
the cullers had that info then I'd be dead in a week. AND he just

Actually..I cant remember if I sent his header info to those keeping the
List or not. But I shall do it later tonight. I have no idea of where
it goes, except to a single email addy. Ive not bothered to try to trace
where it actually goes. It frankly..isnt any of my concern once I hit
Send.

Since I dont get an "address not valid " warning back from my ISP Im
assuming its going somewhere.

Where is that "August" thingy coming from? I dont recall mentioning
August, does anyone else? Whats going to happen in August? That would
wreck summer vacation for a lot of people if something bad happens in
August. Now bad things are going to happen this year..but..August?

Speaking of which..anyone seen or heard from Cliff in a while?

Oh..thats right..he's dead isnt he? Tsk tsk tsk.

Odd about that..eh wot? In the prime of his life too. Sad..very sad.

Isnt it a shame that this poor boi keeps thinking we are just like him?
Helpless, mentally ill, inconsequntial in the grand scheme of
things...utterly a nebish with no redeeming qualities whatso ever.
Pitiful actually.

Now Tom there, owns a very large business making a well known product,
and for myself..I too own my own business, which some here are aware of.

Shrug

Now this poor slug lives in his momma basement, on a diet of soft drinks
and fast foods, likely to fat to climb the stairs.

Shrug again. And of course..mentally ill. I cant help but marveling at
his posts and their contents. If he were able to climb the stairs...he
would likely never leave the house anyways. The mentally ill are either
on the street, or hide in deep dark places. The Internet gives him some
interaction with the Real World..but he thinks he is safe and secure
down there in the basement. I hope he doesnt get a big nasty surprise
later this year. Well..no...frankly I do hope he gets a big nasty
surprise. But they may not be able to get him up the stairs and out into
the yard..so they may simply hang him from the floor joists overhead.

I hope I get some videos of his ending. They would be record setters on
YouTube, dontcha think? Well..come to think of it..maybe not..given the
vast numbers of others who will wind up dead before the first of the
year and the videos of them will be pouring into YouTube.

Sigh...I hope I get a video of his death.

I remember our first conversation about .45's many years ago and the
next day I ordered Kuhnhousen's book. The book has been folded,
spindled and mutilated to some degree. I also bought his book on S&W
revolvers. Both are pure gold!

Velocity is 645, no soot on the outside of the cases, no failures after
a bit of work on the extractor the empties would probably all fall into
a coffee can, all with stock 19lb spring. I figure if it needs more
power, just use more cartridges. Not bad with a borrowed 45, I sold all
my firearms a long time ago.

Where did you hear about teaching techniques? I got a note from the NRA
that a few students have contacted them. It's another machine. I've
been teaching people to run machines for a long time.

much "12 year olds in their mom's basement" who never learned to

who have been untaught how to think, and merely are repeating the
buzzwords their professors shoved in their ears.
Sad really. to have the opportunity to get an education, and
lacking to understanding to actually be able to use the opportunity.

First you said I'd be dead in a week. Then you pretend you were only
joking. The only thing your positions have in common is that you lie
as freely as breathe. If only you had the reasoning power of a aged
dog you'd be able to prevent your horseshit from contradicting
Gunner's. No doubt you're one of the few he thought he could count on
to staff the great cull yet here you are admitting that you don't
believe him any more than the rest of us do. What happened? Did
somebody clue you in that death threats were a bad idea? No problem
you can still email Gunner to assure him you were joking about not
believing in the cull and that you're actually ready for action
whenever he blows his kazoo. He'll believe it because what the fuck
else has he got other than half assed support from fellow windbags.

He probably takes the cull about as seriously as he does his religion.
That is: whenever in the private company of fellow believers tell them
what they want to hear. The rest of the time try to at least feign

So all these detailed descriptions of the deaths of everybody who

pretending that posters should fear you.

But it's obvious that the backpeddling has already begun. By December
you'll have "forgotten" that you ever mentioned a cull at all!

What WILL happen in August is that your county will be filing a couple
more 10 year lien extensions on you. I can't predict what your excuse
for those will be but likely it will be along the lines of "I saved up
enough money to pay the liens but I had to use it to feed orphans."

Oh yeah sure you had him taken out. Where are the photos and video

same place as the DD214 right?

I guess you failed to notice that Tom says he never believed in your
cull. It's good to see you reminding us that you'll never produce any
of those videos.

You keep mentioning these invisible videos but twice in one post is a

In the 1970s I inherited a stock 1940s issue 1911 made by Remington Rand.
Available stocks of 230 fmj and Bullseye permitted extended bracketing
tests. 5 grains worked best. The winning criteria was the least amount of
tumbling in the worn bushing and barrel. Sadly I moved to a city in the
1980s and had to liquidate all handguns.

Gee, what other useless tools should I buy? I sure hope the new owners
buy crap on impulse too...oh, they WILL, they will be buying my company!

Keep a sharp lookout for the "cullers"! ...coming to moms' basements
EVERYWHERE! Just keep looking! Stock-up on candy bars and sodas and
keep a big box of Wet-Ones handy. I think the Cullers will be coming
from the North-East so start digging Tiger traps. You should use double
thickness on your foil helmet and keep the shiny side out...it reflects
the "waves" better! I'm sure you can get foil with your cheese-check.

Bravo!

Ever since "The Great Cull ---coming to moms' basements everywhere---" The
sale of foil for helmets, shovels for digging tiger traps, candy bars, sodas

Yeah that rewriting is beyond lame. I've been saying for months that
the cull is nothing but psychotic horseshit but now asshat Gardner is
pretending I've been afraid of it. These idiots have to find a
rationalization no matter how ludicrous. Otherwise (if they were
rational) the admission that the cull is nothing but years of
horseshit would lead to them questioning EVERYTHING Gunner has
written. I think they're like the Catholics who tried to wish away all
the abuse allegations. No matter how obvious the truth became there
were still rewriters who pretended that their guys couldn't possibly
be as bad as they appeared.

Ayup. bit more than 3 yrs ago. Was recovering from that..then had a
stroke, which dinged my memory here and there. Bout all that happened
is I occasionally forget names and where I last left my soft drink.
The doctors fucked up big time..several times in fact. The previous
November I went in for a checkup..they didnt find the
blockages..pronounced me fit as a fiddle. 2 months later...shrug.

So which part is supposed to be an insult or slur against me? That they
did emergency surgery nearly 4 yrs ago that Ive recovered from? What
makes you think Im trying to hide it? I put those photos on my Public
Picasa site. Was there any reason to hide them? I cant think of
any...should I have? Maybe its that memory thing...what am I forgetting?

Please advise. Use as much white space as you see necessary.

Oh..now that you have diverted from the politics in this post..should I
bother to comment about your denial and transference again?

They have those "Homie-Boy" sights on their High-Points or Ravens that
they bought on the street to avoid the Great Cull. So, they NEED the
Zombie-Max ammo for when the Zombies attack them...in mom's basement. I
hope they don't come into contact with any Fluoridated water, it'll turn
