ok this movie wasn't perfect. so what. loved the tone and style. loved
morgan freeman. thought brad pitt was trying a little too hard to be
james dean (most of you probably never saw a dean movie in your life).
However, for sheer horror, this is one movie that didn't flinch. ending
a little predictable. but what the hell. it is far and away above most
of the dreck that is produced. the film noir was a little overdone, but
still very effective. chilling flick.

Question: where in this film did you think Pitt was trying to act like
James Dean? I don't recall Dean playing a rookie cop chasing a serial
killer in any of his three films. Perhaps I missed something?
