Thanks

If you need to change the limit to a value higher than 2GB, you may use
ADSI EDIT to update it. However, it is not recommended because Outlook
client may experience problem if the mailbox is bigger than 2GB.
Open ADSIEdit to the user in question and edit the values for the following:
mDBOverHardQuotaLimit:
mDBOverQuotaLimit:
mDBStorageQuota:
Hope it helps.

You may check Richard's suggestion if you want to configure a mailbox
larger than 2 GB.

In this case the issue was resolved. If you are encountering a similar
problem my recommendation would be to create a new thread so we can assist
you appropriately.
Thank you for your understanding.

Actually, the reason why the default size limit for a mailbox is 2GB is
mainly due to the size limit of .pst/.ost. As you know, the size limit of
pst/.ost is also 2GB. If the size of a mailbox exceeds 2GB limit, it's
impossible for user to offline access the mailbox using .ost, and also .pst
file is limited to 2GB so if a mailbox gets larger than that, recovery gets
more difficult.
Hope this clarifies.
