１月９日の、Zeitgaist meetingのレポートをします。
渋谷と原宿の間にある、昔ユナイテッドアローズが入っていたビルかその隣のビルの２F。コジャレたカフェの中の、会議室みたいなところです。結構、長時
間使っているのに、一人コーヒー１杯とかなので、いいのかしらと思いつつ、まあいいや。
今日のメンバーは、外国籍５人、日本国籍４人。私以外は、英語がわかる人達なので、英語でのコミュニケーションがだいぶあり、私はひとり、アレな感じで
した。Melが気を使ってときどき訳してくれたので、助かりました。日本人求む！
で、
内容です。
今回は翻訳が間に合わないので、主にその対応に付いて話し合いました。
１．１５日の上映は、英語のみで上映します。
（字幕が間に合う可能性が低い。１５日に関しては、English onlyっていうことを明示して対応する。）
２．できるだけ、告知をする。
（印刷代の高い黒バージョンのフライヤーは、図書館や、大学などに張る。白バージョンは、各自コピーして、自由に配る。）
３．１５日のイベントに必要な人員、と配置について。
（人手が不足しています。手伝える方、Melにご連絡ください。超、Welcomeされるでしょう。）
４．翻訳チームを組み直す。
（今は、Kellyが翻訳チームをまとめている状態ですが、やはり、日本語ネイティブが関わった方が良い。Kellyは日本語が得意ではないのに、
がんばってくれているのも申し訳ない。）
５．日本のZeitgeistが組織化されてないので、組織化した方がいいのではないか。
（興味を持った人が、気軽にコミットできるプラットホームがあったほうがいいのではないか。新しく来た人が質問しても、特に代表者もいないので誰も
返事しないとかあるし。→とにもかくにも、上映会が終わってからね。ってことでした。）

皆さんが会えて本当に良かった！今までずっと誰も知らず参加していたからちょうと寂しかったが面と向かって話しが出来て嬉しかった！刺激新に掻き立てた
ものだった！ここから翻訳がうまくなるようにお世話になります。宜しくお願いします！下記はミーティングレポトの翻訳です。何か足りないところがあれば

Jut wanted to say that it was fantastic and revitalizing to meet you
all face to face! Here is an English translation of the minutes.
If anyone has anything to add please do！

Location: Cluh Cafe in between Shibuya and Harajuku.
Duration: Long... but productive.
Members: 5 Non-Native & 4 Japanese
The main focus of the meeting was translation and the upcoming movie
showing.
1. The showing of Zeitgeist: Moving forward on the 15th will be shown
in English without any subtitles. This is because there is a high
possibility that the translation which has been completed thus far
(only 1/3) would be inaccurate and/or difficult for Japanese natives
to understand. Of course this will be announced before the showing and
also explicitly labeled on the fliers.
2. Promote the showing as much as possible. The color fliers are going
to be put up in high traffic areas like libraries and colleges while
the black and white ones will be copied and handed out/put up freely
by individual members.
3. There is currently a lack of volunteers for the movie showing on
the 15th. If you are in the area and want to help PLEASE contact Mel
ASAP. She would be overjoyed for any help that can be offered.
4. There was discussion about creating translation teams (ideally with
one native Japanese and English speaker each) so as to create more
accurate, effective and timely translations. Kelly is currently
working on organizing this. Big ups to Kelly for working so hard on
organizing this despite language barriers!
5. As of now there exists no solid platform that people in Japan can
turn to to learn more about Zeitgeist. It is possible that people
could hear negative things about Zeitgeist in the media or from friend
and it would be a good idea to create something for people to access
accurate and easily understandable information. It is especially
important that people are available to answer questions and help lead
discussions after the showing of the movie.
